Betterment completion

It was time for me to attack and he wasn’t sure what I was going to do but he was ready.
I dashed forward hell bent on watching his movements.

He faked one punch but he thought I didn’t get it.

“Nice try, you…..huh.” He said when I landed a hit.
When I punched I went for his leg but then I changed my direction. And went for his thigh.

“What the fuck was that… “he asked as his eyes opened.

My punch pushed him backwards a bit and he rose in surprise while I was hoping putting on your wide smile.

Then I gave him the hand gesture to come.
“oh I see, you are getting into it.” He said as he nodded and walked around.

Then he rushed in going for my leg but then I noticed the way he stood, I noticed that he was going for the punch from my leg it was like he bent halfway down.
then it came to me, he was planning to spring up and give him an uppercut so instead of blocking, I weaved back and just like I suspected. He squatted down and then after that he sprung up setting his right hand for an uppercut.
and that was my chance.

So I rushed in for a punch but he expected it I’m prepared a block but I wasn’t going to punch him I was going to use my elbow.

As I dashed in he was going to use his punch to cancel out mine but then he was surprised when my punch missed directions and I was not done moving yet.
My plan was successful, it was my elbow and he did not see it coming.

I had impact but there was no down yet so we continued.
I was not used to his punches and used to his change of directions but he struggled to keep up as I changed my fighting style from Evander down to rat face.
As we fought I noticed something, When I landed a punch, it hardly affected him and he was just coming back for more, it felt like he was under the influence I will repeat myself but at the end I still won.

After the fight, he was banged up really bad, he was bleeding but not profusely, But he was so weak he could hardly move.
I talked him up and then dragged him to his partner’s room. I trust that they will do the job very well and deal with his partner and when I entered the room I got a confirmation to my assumption.
She was tied there with the wound to the mouth, none of us were actually injured seriously but we had few bruises and scratches.

“Red Head..” she said As shock came upon her face when she saw me dragging him..
“Ohh you thought he would win, Nah, the person he matched up against is a freaking demon so he might have given him a tough time but winning I’m not so sure.” Rat face said.
Since the fight was over we Saturday with them in the room. we were tired so we took turns to sleep.

They were the only two remaining as the other guys whom were with them were already dead.
For the first time I slept in a house filled with up to 12 dead bodies and they actually did not break his sweat.
The next morning when we woke up, they were both sleeping so we decided to do our normal morning routine and then come back to the room.
when we got back they were both awake but one of them was already cut loose.

“Ohh I see.” I said when I caught the female trying to cut the strap of the other one.
“shit.” She said under her voice.

So I walked in with the straight face looking at her like I was going to kill her when she slowly moved back and then the other one said.
“Stop, stop… look I was the one who caught her rope, don’t hurt her, I was the one who cut her rope please.

Then I stopped in my tracks and looked at him.
“don’t lie to yourself you aren’t smart enough to do that but she on the other hand, she is.” I said as I redirected my eyes at her.
“OK, OK fine, she did it but relax bro you already got us tight just tie us back again, you know what we would tell you everything.” He said.
“who? Me? Nah, I ain’t saying shit.” She said wearing a face of disgust as she looked back at me.
“Stand down you proud ass motherfucker this is not the kind of person you mess with.” He said replying her as his voice went up .
“For the first time I would say you should agree with him, you said you had bodies here yesterday, I won’t hesitate to add more to that count.” I said with my cold blank stare.

“….” She said nothing and then she sat down.

After that I alone started the interview and then they came to join me later and just like before we would always give a choice, but this time these ones loved their job so the guys were not willing to give them a second chance but I loved their spunk.

“All right then bring the guns, or one of the guns that is loaded let’s end this.” Rat face said to Behemoth but for the first time I spoke up on their behalf.
“I don’t think there will be need for that.” I said as everyone paused.
“Wait, huh, ohh come on they cost us serious trouble.” Rat face said.

“Exactly, each and every one of you individually cost us trouble before we recruited one of you but for them, all five of us could not hold our grounds because they had back up back apart from that they came prepared, they came with the intention to win, with how yesterday went I would say they have been planning this for a while and that is why I want them to join us.” I said as everyone looked dumbfounded.

“we? Join you, I doubt that will ever be poss…” She was saying when read head said.
“Alright then, we will join you.” He said.
“What huh, nah, what the..” The female yapped.
“would you shut your mouth up and listen for once you freaking imbecile, do you know what this mission was. This was not a snatch or destroy, this was not a rescue, this was not a goal attack and come back, this was a kill and go home. you know that if we go home now they would kill us, I’m mission was to kill them and leave to go home.
And even when you heard it I know you were not deaf when he said.

“….Fuck..I just want to go home, I just want to fucking go home, for fox sakes, I have a goddamn family I have been protecting, if I go home at least they kill me, well who knows what they would do to my family if I am here. She said as her voice switched from authoritative and proud to soft and reasonable.
“If you choose to leave I promise I will not hold you back, it is your decision to go where you want to go. this is your right to make your own decision for yourself.” I said as I walked closer to her.

“What would you know about family.?” She said as her eyes filled with tears and her face remained fierce.

“Ohh you don’t know me, so don't assume, at least you have a family who is alive and breathing, all of us here have lost something dear to us that is why we are together, this is how we share in our pain, we fight to protect each other, there is nothing to lose so trust me, if anyone knows how you feel then I who has a brother somewhere across the fucking city knows exactly how you feel.” I said to her.

“Fuck this..” she said walking out on us.
“leave her.” I said as she was almost confronted by Behemoth.
“Now to you who has chosen to actually follow me, if you ever try to betray me, if I smell it, I promise you I’ll make sure you die slowly while everything around you dies right in front of your eyes.” I said with a blank stare as my face spelled seriousness and the aura i emitted made everyone act serious too.
“Fuckit I can’t betray someone like this, I know that if I try it I will probably die and with this guy backing you up, its not more probably, its certainty that I will die, if I pull something like that.” He said.

“I’m glad you understand where I’m coming from.” I said.
We untied him and then he introduced himself to everyone.
“I’m Red head junkie and well let’s just say I fight better when I am potentially high, but just drugs tho not alcohol.” He said as he smiled and stood by me.
After that me and the guys treated him like it was one of us now and then later on his partner came around and she said.
“Have put into concentration what you have said and I have decided to join you guys also what if the choice should come between me, you and my family, I will always choose my family.” She said.
“That’s fine by me but just note this, if you choose your family over us, I promise to spare your family I’ll come back for you and I will not be coming to give you a warm welcome back.” I said to her stretching my hand to her.

We will be there that will come and then decided on what to eat for that night.
Now it’s the present and for the past two weeks I’ve been called boss, whatever thing you which they want to execute they call me and they treat me like I am their leader, that was after recruiting those two and now I am a step away from actually seriously getting my hands into being a mafia.
