Hero moments

I was on my way and I had a place in mind, we have a big compound, though not many people know, there is a Small shed for farming tools at the back of the house. In that shed, there are switches to the lights outside the house and also there was a place for Backup power incase we have any power outage or something.
This location was not trimmed like the front of the compound, it had tall grass and some trees around it.
The closer I got the slower I walked in the tall grass and then I started to hear people talk.

“What do you mean you can’t find them?”
That was a female voice.
“We’re sorry but it's just like we said.” That was another females voice.
“Look, I was told that you guys do your job very well and you guys are ruthless, now I don’t know what to believe, you had one job, first I caught them already freed.” She was ranting when a male voice intercepted.
“Yes indeed you caught them, but these ones in which you said we should kill, you never told us that they were skilled, all we knew was we were coming here to kill some people in this house but you never made mention of them being skilled. Now we do our job very well by suggest you allow us to do it the best way we can, we have some guys who will be here soon so Relax.” The guy answered her.
“Look, I employed you to do something for me and that thing was for you to help me make people disappear, that was the job, the first person in which I said you should keep safe is nowhere to be found and now the people in which you were supposed to dispose of are also nowhere to be found and you have your audacity to tell me you’re doing your job” she said…
Looking at how they were talking I could tell that the one who talked last was ferrara.
“Boss, we have serviced the generator and now ready to turn it on for the backup power supply.” One said from the left.
“Alright do it already.”
But then something was off, they had none of us, which means rat face is not there, which means he's probably somewhere else but where?
As I racked my brain to think of where next he would go, I heard.

“shhhrrhhh" There was movement behind me.
Though I quickly turned to look around I heard.
“Drop your weapon.”

Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck.
I was caught.
I slowly dropped my weapon and even though it was too dark for anybody to see, I saw him.

“Relax, it's me.” I said as I raised my hand.
Whom I looked at was none other than rat face himself but then I got worried because he could not see me.
“It’s you fucking who? How the fuck am I supposed to know who you are.” He said.
Rat face can be paranoid so I had to really make him understand it was me.
“I understand you may not know me because of the darkness but it’s me Sebastian, Raven and the others are in our meet up point.” I was saying when he then said.
“Nah don’t give me that bullshit, I don’t know the fork you are, you might have caught them and you might be pretending, you see you guys think you're smart yeah but that's bullshit….” He was saying, as it slowly got me agitated but I was still thinking of what to tell him to make him relax.
“you ate turkey Stew yesterday cooked by Raven.” I said waiting for him to get it but then.
“Yeah I did and So what, that doesn’t prove you’re Sebastian, from what I know Ferrara must have told you so nice try.” He said with his gun pointed to my head.
“If you point the gun at someone who literally spared you, make sure you do it because you are sure not because you are confused.” I said at him with a cold stare even though he could not see it.
“Boss?” He said when they turned on the generator and then.

“Zzzzrrtttt….” The lights were turned on.
when the lights were turned on he saw me but then everything went quiet all of a sudden.

“Whomever is in that Bush come out right now.” We both heard.
“ck-chk…ck...ckh.ck..ck.ck” The sounds that followed. They were loeaded

We’re surrounded do they did not know whom was inside they did know that someone was in the Bush.
Then I looked at rat face and took his gun, then I gave him mine.
The plan was for him to escape and for me to meet up with them at the gate.

“Look, I’ll throw something to the side of the Bush, signifying that I am running away, the minute they notice that they will most definitely open fire, Then when they open fire to the wrong targets we waste them.” I whispered.
“shrrrhhhhshhhhh.” I threw it and then like I predicted.
“Bang!! Bang!! Bang!! Bang!!.....” They opened fire.

Now it was our turn and then we also opened fire.
before they could redirect their aim to where we stood, we had already wasted a significant number of them.

“Backup!!!” The Guy at the front shouted then from behind us people started to shoot.
“Fuck, Run, Run!!!!..” I said as we both took off in opposite directions,.

The gunfire was more pointed at rat face than me so I Shot my going to the air so that you would have time to escape.
I became bait.

“Ksshkk……what the fuck is happening?” Raven said over the comms.
“He’s on his way to you.” I said but she barely heard me.
Successfully I escaped the tall grass, rat face headed to the left side of the compound while I was at the right.
But they were on to me so I couldn’t relax, I kept on running, panting, While dodging bullets, I turned back to see the amount of people after me.
“Fffffwwwoooppp.” I didn’t even get to turn my head 180° when I did head the bullet pass my left ear.
that alone struck enough fear to boost my speed.

Then I made it out of the corner.
The lights were on so I could see the front of the compound and I was happy when I saw rat face running at the far left so I also ran.
They were all at the gate and as they got sight of me they started to wave.
Then suddenly the lights went off again but I could still see.
As I ran I dodged the statues and then went round the fountain. And finally I got there.
“What’s the plan?” Mamba asked as I regained my breadth.
“Pl….plan?” I said breathing heavily.

I calmed down then I said.
“There’s no fucking plan, just run!!!.”
