Chapter 11

"Are you back?"

Sicily smiled, looking at Stein who was already in front of her and welcoming her. Without realizing that it was Stein's purpose, she also didn't realize that Stein had been following her. So now he could welcome Sicily and it was something that made him happy especially seeing the smile on the face of this beautiful girl in front of him.

This was her favorite because she liked seeing Sicily's arrival so warmly.

"I'm not going to cook tonight because I'm quite tired so would you mind eating the instant food I bought?" asked Sicily as she walked in making Stein smile and close the door.

"I'm not difficult when it comes to eating so you don't have to worry. I also don't want to trouble you, I've ordered a servant who can help you with cooking and preparing the food so when you go home you can rest after eating without having to cook it again."

Sicily looked at him who was already smiling. "There are actually a few questions I'd really like to ask you."

Stein raised an eyebrow, waiting for this girl to speak and ask her what.

"Didn't you say that you have amnesia? How come you know some things about your life like for example you said you have money and you have it on a card in your pocket. But shouldn't you have forgotten too since you don't remember anything about your life?"

Stein smiled as this girl's question made a bit of sense if understood. A person who forgot his memory would surely forget everything related to his life but how could he grant her his memory about the accounts and the money in his pocket?

Fortunately before this he had prepared an answer that could be used to make this girl believe. Because he had to keep getting Sicily's heart and not let her feel suspicious of him or he would lose his place.

"This is a sophisticated card and you should know. I used a card without a password when I checked it at the ATM yesterday. I didn't have to enter the password because everything was in order and I just had to paste my index fingerprint. Yesterday I had some trouble but once I understood it I got the hang of it and thankfully now I can take out money." Stein showed me a black suitcase. "I want to thank you but I don't know what you like so I can only give you money for your expenses and also to fulfill your needs. You can buy anything with that money, I'm giving it to you."

Sicily raised her eyebrows then got up and approached the black box on the table. "Where did you get this much money? Paper money is pretty much a thing of the past nowadays, we usually use digital apps for payments and everything else we need as far as money is concerned. Paper money is only owned by rich people, how can you do this transaction?"

Stein smiled softly. "I lost my phone and all the tools that can be used to make digital transactions. The bank understood that so they also allowed me to take out a considerable amount of money. I had to buy back a cell phone for digital payments so that I wouldn't have any trouble with this. Now just accept what is given to you as a thank you," Stein said, making Sicily smile.

She didn't expect that her act of helping this man would turn out to be profitable. He had earned quite a lot of money that he had never found and never seen in his life.

"You shouldn't bother, I don't really need anything in return for what I've done for you. I helped you because you purely fell next to my house, if I had left you alone the police would have come and thought I had done something to you." Sicily said with a laugh, letting Stein know that this girl was very happy with her gift.

Sicily had worked for a long time in her life and it was only now that she had earned quite a lot of money and could see it clearly, even though she was not human but Stein could understand how fellow humans felt when they had earned a lot of money.

He loved seeing Sicily's happy face, and he was lucky that he had prepared this in advance. Thankfully he had prepared many things before coming to earth, one of which was preparing for the currency change that could be done using the advanced system that originated from his planet.

"Then let's eat first because I'm very hungry." Sicily said making Stein smile.

"Let me help you carry the money to your room, I still have a lot of money that is used for your needs. oh yes I also want to say that because I never go out and you will dominate life more so I will rarely be seen and that is also why you have to compete in buying food and preparing food. I'm sorry about that, it's not my intention to do that at all because I don't want you to get slandered again like your friend did that time.

"It's the medicine that feels uncomfortable when other people say that we are lovers so to take the middle way I want you to manage everything and I will follow everything you do. Use the money for your needs, the room to renovate some parts of the house that you said were dirty, you can buy whatever food you want and one of them is that you can actually take leave. If there is no leave in your company?"

Sicily sighed as she carried the food she bought into the kitchen while Stein followed her into the room.

"I also said that this morning, it's more or less like that so we've both agreed, right? I can open the door and praise myself from inside since there are two types of doors so you don't have to worry. The important thing is that you don't attract many people's attention because that's more than enough to keep us safe."

Stein smiled and nodded in understanding. They finally ate dinner that night and enjoyed the time while talking about the household assistant that catfish from the foundation would call because the one from the foundation would definitely be more alert and good at work than the one from home but every day her mouth was julid and annoying.

After talking and spending a while in the backyard, they finally decided to take a break because night was coming. Sicily intended to rest for a while before she would do research outside the house again. He passed by and it made her immediately get up before finally going out of the house to do research.

"Hopefully tonight I'll get some clues because if not I really don't know what to do anymore."

Using the electric bicycle that Sicily had prepared, she then began to make her way through the city streets. Stein followed her just like the night before because he didn't want to let Sicily get hurt and he was also doing this so that he could find out the whereabouts of his parents. But he was having a hard time not finding out everything had changed so now he was just trying to keep searching in order to get more or less about the information that could be obtained.

"Fire! Fire!"

Sicily rounded her eyes at the sound of shouting from one of the hallways. She quickly pulled the gas on her electric carriage and headed over to see that a house was already on fire.

As soon as she turned her head towards the side, her eyeballs rounded in shock as she found a man with a strange figure seen pulling on her hand that was still powered by electricity.

Stein grabbed the man in his transparent mode, until Sicily rounded her eyes to see that the figure had already become ashes.

"A-alien?! It's really an alien?!"
