Chapter 14

Sicily was surprised that Stein hadn't come out to see her at all. The thing that made her ventured to come to the man's room and check but once she entered she found Stein sitting facing the window.

"Hey, aren't you hungry? You have absolutely nothing to eat."

Stein turned his head and smiled softly. "No, actually I went out and ate while you were away with your friend. I just came in a few hours ago."

"Ohh, that's good then because you can't leave food for me to get sick. You've already paid the fees in this house so there's no need to feel shy, I'm happy to accommodate you so you don't have to feel bad about doing anything in this house. Besides, it's just me so there won't be anyone to object to."

Stein nodded and looked closely at Sicily's face. He admitted that this girl looked beautiful, the Stein in front of him was the real Stein because he changed back a few minutes ago before Sicily opened the door to his room. He had just been brooding over not finding the whereabouts of his family. It was a little disturbing but now he also didn't know where else to go because he didn't have much knowledge about the earth.

"If you want to rest I'll be right out. There's more food in the back if you're hungry you can eat it. I'll be going to my room soon since I have a report to do."

Stein smiled softly and got up. "Sicily, I would like to ask you a few questions about things that you might be able to answer."

Sicily was a little surprised, as this was the first time Stein had called her by that name. The past few days she had also discovered that this man was actually a little shy but now that they were getting closer Sicily felt that he was quite fond of everyone.

"What do you want to ask about?"

"Earth, I mean this country or everything on this earth. If we explore it, is it possible?"

Sicily paused, probably because the impact and the fall had made Stein's brain and all knowledge disappear. But he had not been able to think long for a while so maybe there was something he wanted to do so he asked like this.

"That being said, of course we can explore everything if we have the money and accommodation. There's no place we can't visit as long as we have the passport money and can. We also have to have an official identity for that so it's difficult as long as the money is not there, the rest will go smoothly because there will be no one who wants to help you as long as you are not a problematic person."

"Problematic? What are some problems that might be rejected by other countries?"

"It could involve fugitives or people who have secrets or illicit businesses that harm the country. All of that can happen because of the culprit himself and maybe he is a person who has committed a major crime that makes some countries not accept him because of the blacklist. Are you the one with the problem?"

Stein smiled softly and was silent for a moment. "I don't know obviously because I forgot my identity and everything related to my life. But I guess not because I can be here but I don't know where I came from either. Later I will try to take care of what you said earlier if there is any trace left. With that, it will definitely be easier for us if I want to take you to a country or visit some places."

Sicily smiled and just nodded because she knew that maybe what this man said was true. Even this man could give her a lot of money last night which made Sicily might be able to think of good things.

Stein can't be a bad person, if he was bad he would have intended to take over this house since it is now her property. But he didn't do that at all so he's not guilty, nor is he a bad person. Sicily believed in her principles and that was also what made her feel prepared for everything that was going to happen.

"You just rest, I'll take care of my data so I can speed up the trip. I want to ask you to accompany me later and you don't have to worry because I'll pay for everything. So don't stay at home because it looks like we'll be leaving soon."

Sicily smiled and just nodded then she went to the back and drank her usual booster drink. Walking towards her room, she was still thinking about what Stein's main purpose was to invite her to travel outside the country.

"It's a bit strange but it seems to make sense, yeah maybe he was searching for something or maybe searching for his memories so he was taken to some things that interested him. I know that a person with amnesia must have gotten a piece of his generation more or less and maybe he's curious about some of the places he visited before amnesia so now it's like that."

Sicily lay down while pulling up the blanket and looked up at the sky in the room. "Maybe I can do a little healing and enjoy the time later. If she's really going to invite me then that's a good thing. I can gain experience and additional references with all this because there can't be just one person. There must be many aliens actually roaming around but they're covered up so I can't see them with my normal eyes.

"Finish this research and hand over all the results to Professor John. I also won't accept any more projects like this that make my head hurt. But it doesn't matter anyway, I should be grateful that I can still get a decent life. I have to ask to keep myself in the sausage until I can no longer enter because I already have. It wasn't an attraction because I was a student and a researcher. I won't be able to please that kind of man so I have to focus on my goals and stick to my intention of becoming one of the employees of the space intelligence organization."

Sicily smiled and closed her eyes and went to sleep. Whenever she met Professor John, it was better to just enjoy the time now because that man also gave her a fairly relaxed time so there was no need to rush this matter.

Meanwhile, Stein walked over to the bed as Sicily was drifting off to sleep. He had been listening to this girl's words and it made him smile softly.

"There may be evil humans, but not you. You're the first person who managed to make me change my bad perspective about evil humans. It's a pity that you are human, otherwise I would still have made you my partner."
