Chapter 18

Sicily looked at Stein's chest and some parts of his body that looked much better than the last time she saw him. The recovery of the wounds on this man's body was surprisingly fast, it made her feel a little relieved that there wouldn't be any symptoms later that could interfere with this man's movements and life other than his amnesia that we haven't all had until now.

"You're getting better, I'm already quite happy with all these changes."

Stein smiled, using this opportunity to stare at Sicily's face which was beautiful and so pleasant to look at that he didn't know why he could convey here when if he thought about it there were many people and many women on the same planet as him but he even liked Sicily who was an earth citizen.

"Hold back a little it might hurt," Sicily said making Stein nod.

Their gazes met, allowing Sicily to see the enchanting gaze of the man in front of her. She realized, she couldn't keep getting closer to Stein and causing her feelings to grow. Right now she also couldn't help but try not to appear to be in love.

"I know our relationship is hindered but I never cared about that hindrance," Stein murmured with a gentle gaze as Sicily averted her eyes. "Hopefully after this I can get everything I want, without having to sacrifice one of them."

Moments later, Sicily had finished treating Stein's wounds. She breathed a sigh of relief, then looked up at Stein's smiling face and gazed at her tenderly.

"Thank you, it's like this is just a scar so it will go away on its own. There won't be anything obstructing my movement anymore now that the old wound has healed."

Sicily smiled and nodded, then cleaned up the tools used to treat Stein. She knew that this man had a high survival rate because he had fallen down and was still alive even though the ground curved and molded his body. I don't know what Stein consumed, because even if his body did look good but it would still hurt and give scars that should be all over but this was not because only a few parts of the bone were injured and the rest was fine.

"Teach me how to survive sometime because after the fall you weren't badly injured," Sicily said making Stein smile softly and sighed.

"Actually, I didn't do anything, maybe it's because I exercise regularly that's why I'm like this. The rest of the time I mostly do activities like a normal human. I also don't know why my body is so strong that it was fine when I fell yesterday. It was only my head that finally made me forget my memory." Stein said as she looked down at her chest which was still a little wet from the medicine so she didn't want to cover it up just yet.

"I rarely exercise anyway, I don't really like sports so I will only jog around the house in the morning. I think I'll go to the gym sometime and do some exercises that a weak woman might be able to do. I'm not strong enough to lift weights," Sicily said as she sat on one of the chairs. "So, I'll watch tonight if you're tired and want to sleep you can go to your room. I want to calm down and enjoy myself before going back in tomorrow and being a student like usual. It's really hard being like this now."

Stein smiled softly while Sicily was already chuckling softly. That night they ended up watching together and Stein didn't ask many questions because he seemed to be able to get information about events that happened on earth a few years ago from technology and advanced devices that must have recorded history or news.

Like the cell phone, he saw it as something that was very complete and enough to gather a lot of information so there was no way none of the news media would not document it because it was important.

"You really like watching like this?"

Sicily looked at Stein who was in her seat then smiled and nodded. "I do but I don't have much time to do it, plus I don't really like watching all movies so any movie that I can't I won't watch either. I'll watch movies that interest me and that's really hard to come by because I have pretty good taste when it comes to genres," she admitted honestly making Stein smile.

"What genres do you like?"

"Romance, space adventure, fantasy world, team travel. But I don't like all of them because it depends on how the movie is packaged. The point is that I'm a complicated girl as well people say including Merry, Moreover we have quite different tastes and she rarely invites me to watch together because of that."

Stein smiled softly. "Everyone has their own tastes and that's not a fault of mine. You're pretty good at choosing genres, because movies can also increase knowledge," Stein replied, making Sicily smile and nod in agreement.

"Right, one example is that I can learn because they also present real professors or explanations according to reality because even if they don't but if they include scientific videos then the movie will not be executed playfully," said Sicily. "I learn a lot from movies about science, technology and the like. I even like learning about the world of space and I don't know if it's true that aliens actually have some advantages over earthlings."

Stein raised an eyebrow, feeling a little intrigued that Sicily started talking about outer space and it was of course about him. He could not clearly reveal that he was an alien, but since today Sicily was the first to ask and brought up such a theme while they were talking he might as well take the opportunity and ask what Sicily thought about the extraterrestrials they referred to as aliens.

"What are their advantages?"

Sicily smiled, it was rare that anyone would invite and take her conversation seriously like this. Because if she talked to Merry, her friend mostly said that Sicily was a girl who thought too much nonsense, of course it made her think again to discuss something like this with Merry.

"You're not going to say that I'm an unreasonable girl if I talk about this?"

Stein raised his eyebrows then smiled softly. "Everyone has a passion and has something they like to do and it's not the same as everyone else, why would I say that you're an unreasonable girl when some of the scientific experts in the country and on earth are also trying to find out about the lives of aliens?" Stein asked casually, making Sicily smile.

"Because they're said to be very powerful," muttered Sicily as she leaned back. "It's said that they have a very large intelligence and exceed the average human on earth. Humans on earth have never had an intelligence level or IQ of 200, and even then not for long because he immediately died because his brain was too hot to be carried thinking and thinking. While aliens have abilities greater than that, it makes me rather salute and interested."

Stein smiled softly at the enthusiastic voice that escaped Sicily's lips. He liked it when he realized this girl was as passionate and admiring about aliens as he was. It certainly made Stein feel less alone as she also began to like human life and Sicily herself.

It seemed that if they expressed their feelings of liking or interest in each other there wouldn't be too much of a problem and rejection in it.

It's just that now is not a fast time because Stein also still has and has to do something that she is currently working on. It seemed like cultivating feelings first was a good thing so as not to make things difficult for themselves.

"They can also have technology that is more advanced than what is on earth. It can be said that they are the future of technology that precedes the creatures of this earth. I'm very curious about what kind of technology they have because I'm also interested in modern technology. If only there was a portal, I would have tried to get a place and visit them because I want to get acquainted even though I might not be welcomed." Sicily chuckled to herself making Stein smile softly.

"If you come with good intentions, it's impossible not to be welcomed. They're also not as scary as people say, I'm sure they're just like humans with good and evil. Because every creature created must have various characteristics and as brutal as they are, they can still be conquered properly. For example, wild animals like tigers, tigers and the like are so terrifying.

"Maybe they are scary because they have never met humans before, or they think we will disturb their lives so they make defenses. If not then they are likely to behave normally, won't be scary and won't do us any harm. Nothing is certain until we actually see them, right? So don't immediately get carried away by the negative influence of coming evil aliens, it's not like that, I'm sure they also have good tolerance," Stein said at length making Sicily smile softly.

"You're right, it seems that way. If only later this earth can be more sophisticated and some of the most advanced technology or spaceships have been found, I am willing to save up to buy a ticket to travel to space. It's been a dream of mine since I was a teenager, it seems like exploring about the space world that I dreamed of is getting bigger."

Stein smiled at Sicily's enthusiastic and impatient eyes. "No need to wait for later, I'll take you there when I find the whereabouts of my parents, Sicily," he murmured while smiling softly and feeling comfortable.

So comfortable that he wanted to be with this girl forever.
