Chapter 24

Sicily has been feeling strange these past few days as she has been losing consciousness. Several times she was unconscious and did not remember what happened, then when she went to the doctor today the woman said that she was just tired and the fatigue only made some of her memories disappear.

She was going to M country so she had a checkup, however she didn't want anything to happen while she was on vacation because it had been a long time since she had a vacation. In any case, Stein had already paid for the tickets and all kinds of accommodations that she would use. Tomorrow was their departure so she couldn't suddenly get sick and make everything fail.

"Why is your face never happy?"

Sicily who was walking into the house looked at Stein's face who just asked. The girl looked lethargic, walked over to the chair and sat there with no spirit at all.

"I seem to be a little unwell, how can I experience some strange events. I forgot some of the things I did in the last few days, it's like nothing I remember but that time was forgotten and passed by. I don't know what happened but the doctor said I was just tired, how could I be tired when I also didn't do any work anymore and was only at home after college. It's strange, time goes so fast because at some point the night is all I've done." Sicily said honestly despite the astonished look on her face.

The thing that made Stein smile secretly was the sight of the girl fingering her chin and her own neck. It was Stein, who deliberately took Sicily's time just to get what she liked, kissing lustfully and then hugging this girl for a while. He was very happy to be able to get all that so now he also did not feel guilty because he was able to get some experience and energy that was positive enough to make his mood so comfortable after doing so.

"What if I get sick and can't accompany you to M country? I've been wanting to take a vacation for so long, why can't I suddenly get sick like this?"

"You're not sick, you're just in a recovery phase after you've done some pretty complicated activities that you didn't respond to well. So some of the things and activities you forgot, but actually you still did it because otherwise you wouldn't remember if there was one part that you forgot. If she has forgotten something she will not remember it, she will ignore it. But you forgot and don't know why you did it when you could have done it to maintain your self-respect and remember that you have a lot of time on your hands." Stein spoke like a wise man now, leaving Sicily speechless.

This was indeed an oddity that she had only ever felt at this point but there were indeed some parts that would definitely be forgotten if they were bored and not important anymore.

It was something that made her feel like she was missing important parts of her life. Sicily never wanted to lose track of time, she had to keep track of all her steps so that she didn't lose any company.

"Don't worry about it too much, did the doctor give you your medicine?"

Sicily nodded and opened a package in her hand. "I need to recover quickly because tomorrow we have to go to the airport to fly. With that, I have to rest early today because I also packed my clothes two days ago. You also have to prepare for departure immediately so tomorrow morning we'll be there before 1 hour to departure. So that we won't be late and waste the tickets, it's a shame that they can't be used anymore."

Stein nodded in understanding then helped her up and she was carried to her room.

"Eat the medicine and I'll deliver the food for you, order one of your favorite dishes so it might boost your morale for tomorrow."

Sicily nodded. "I'm going to rest for now because I have no appetite for food. Once I wake up before nightfall, I'll eat since I ate at the university cafeteria earlier."

Stein smiled and nodded in understanding, he let the girl in then let out his own breath in relief. At least until now Sicily had not realized what they were doing. Although it wasn't Dita having sex, but they knew that she was the main cause why Sicily had forgotten some things about herself.

"After this hopefully no more suspicions will come, I really have to prepare for my departure immediately and prepare it in the bag. Things that don't need to be worn or anything like that, since all of this has to go smoothly at least the trip there will also be a trip to look for my parents as well. I must be able to find them all over the world, no matter who has captured them and how they did it so I must prepare from now on."

That day Sicily and Stein both parted ways because of each other. However, he could not carelessly do this anymore because he was already under suspicion.

"Sicily is smart, she can't be carelessly tricked just because my school made her world die for a while then I can do that to her. In the future, it won't be possible because I'm sure she's already starting to be wary. Although she forgot about me a bit but it doesn't matter because I can also be patient for the time being. I won't let her know if I've gotten what I want."

Stein smiled softly and sighed, he knew that he just needed to be patient again and didn't need to do that because things would get worse in the future. Sicily could distrust him so he had to hold back for a while.

The next day, Sicily and Stein had already entered the plane and were ready to fly to country M. They looked so happy, including Sicily who had long wanted this.

Traveling abroad, without thinking about her money decreasing of course made her heart happy. She could do it because she didn't have any thoughts about it either.

"This is our seat."

Stein, who had followed her, looked over and smiled and nodded. They placed the cabin luggage on the seats provided, then took their seats according to the numbers provided on the airplane ticket.

"Are you comfortable?"

Sicily smiled and nodded. "I reserved a seat for two. I thought about your comfort too because you don't seem to be used to being close to people because at home too you're mostly silent. That's why I took the initiative for you if there are usually 3 or 4 people who will sit in a row. It's not good if you feel uncomfortable," she said making Stein smile.

This girl had a good initiative, he knew that Sicily also felt uncomfortable when he was with other people so they actually had the same life and nature.

The plane boarded and flew away a short time later, making Sicily lean her body and take out a bottle of sunscreen. She held it out to Stein who immediately smiled and accepted it. Although she had a body that had a higher tolerance to sunlight but she did not want Sicily to discover the difference between them. After all she could always adapt to anything related to this girl, to make Sicily feel that there was no difference between them.

"The journey will take 4 hours, maybe we can rest for a while before we arrive. Do you want to sleep? I think I'll sleep so that I can be more energized when I get there. Do you want to rest at the hotel after this or do you want to see what's there right away?"

"Umm, we'll see when we get there. For now, if you really want to rest, you can rest so that you will be more energized when you arrive and not lethargic like the previous days."

Sicily smiled and nodded slowly before sighing. She felt that her mind was at ease, since Stein was here so that she wouldn't be left behind when the plane stopped.

"If I sleep, please watch the plane, if the flight attendant has said that the plane has arrived at country m, it means we have arrived. Please wake me up if I fall asleep and don't realize that the plane has arrived."

Stein smiled and nodded slowly, before finally looking at Sicily who was already smiling and leaning her head while enjoying the view. The man watched her for a few moments. Knowing that he could not take his eyes off Sicily who somehow always stole his attention.

"Just us doing little things here is already a lot of fun for me. I can feel it like something interesting and I don't understand why it's like that. It seems like love is blind, I would have seen the same thing from my father to my mother, and now I feel it."

Taking something out of the small paper under their feet, Stein gave it to Sicily who immediately smiled at it.

"So that your neck won't hurt so much when you fall asleep later. Just in case, but we should wait for the airplane's food first and then go to bed so that you don't get hungry."

Sicily smiled and nodded, before she finally looked up at Stein's face who was already smiling warmly.

I don't know, every time she looked at this man she felt that there were many hopes and desires in his eyes that were fixed on Sicily. This man seemed to hold a lot and it made her feel like someone who was expected in any activity.

Sicily had never felt like anyone treated her like this, so she was a little unaccustomed and ended up getting nervous herself. Meanwhile, Stein was already smiling and rubbing her head gently like treating her sister or lover whom she loved very much.

"I don't want to separate from you, even if I find the whereabouts of my parents. Can you understand that? I don't want us to separate, I really don't so please reconsider your refusal."

Sicily sighed softly. "I know, but we can't speak words to a destiny that we can't even have. We may not be able to be together because of fate, that's also what makes me rethink. We have different lives and we can't be the same because that would make our strengths and weaknesses obvious. Parents not accepting your partner is a very important thing because in the future your partner will not be accepted by them and if even if he has children, he will not get happiness because his grandmother and grandfather do not accept him.

"There's a lot to consider so I don't want to do it carelessly and cause my child to be unhappy. So, can you think as a whole? Don't make me feel guilty if someone else is not ready for this. I can endure it but not my child who might be the victim of our unsanctioned marriage or relationship."

Stein was silent, Sicily had thought that far and it made him realize that if she did force their relationship with her parents not liking it not necessarily her child would also be accepted. I don't know what had happened, but certainly Sicily's words really made sense so she also had to think a little longer and make her parents want to approve of their relationship.

"Then let everything go like water, and I want to ask if for example I'm not the same person as you but my parents like you to be my partner will you accept me?"

"Not the same person? What does that mean?"

Stein smiled and rubbed his head. "Later you'll know what I mean, the point is now would you accept me even though I'm different from you?"
