Chapter 25

Sicily looked up at the expanse of sky in front of her. They had arrived in the country of M, where they would be vacationing for the next few days and Stein would be searching for something about himself. It might be difficult because this man was still around, but Sicily knew that they could face everything.

"We'll go to the villa I've booked online too. The car that will pick us up will be here soon." Sicily said as she pushed her suitcase towards the front of the airport.

Stein nodded in understanding, sitting there quietly and looking at Sicily who was staring at her cell phone. They had just arrived after a four-hour journey and Sicily had fallen asleep on the way after they had eaten, but was now awake and busy with the pick-up.

"Just sit here, he'll probably be here soon so there's no need to worry and look around for him. The airport isn't that crowded so he won't have any trouble finding us, just relax and wait for him."

Sicily smiled and nodded, she sat down next to the man while channeling all the conversations they had earlier on the plane. Because she knew that if she behaved responsibly then their relationship could fall apart while there was only her and Stein here to take care of the most so she didn't want to just get carried away or something make their relationship a little awkward and no longer the same as usual.

"It looks like I'll be looking for food later around here because from what I see there are a lot of people selling food from the website that explains about this country. The population is quiet so the city is quiet too, not that there's anything problematic."

Sicily looked down at her cell phone and then turned it off briefly and put it into the small bag she was carrying. As she was putting the phone in, she noticed a small black device that glowed. That let her know that something had dominated this device until it could glow.

"It hasn't been glowing for a while, it seems like something it has detected has caused it to glow like this." Sicily muttered while Stein, who saw her speechless, immediately turned to the bag that the girl was looking at.

He found a detection device inside Sicily's bag, which made Stein round his eyes when he recognized it. It was the device she had brought from space and used to detect her parents. How did it end up in Sicily's bag?

But not wanting to immediately open his voice and ask about the object so that Sicily would not be suspicious, Stein cleared his throat and it was strong enough to make Sicily avert her eyes.

"What's wrong with your bag that you keep looking at it?"

Sicily sighed softly and shook her head. "It's nothing, I just feel like I'm going through something. It seems like something has happened here, but it's not in the news and is being hidden. Because I found a black device that was glowing yesterday when it was in our city but it hasn't been glowing for a while. But when I got here and saw it just now it was glowing again and blinked a few times, indicating that there seems to be something I don't know what it is," Sicily murmured making Stein pause.

In fact, as he suspected, something had happened and it did indicate the existence of the aliens he was related to. Perhaps his parents were here, but since the device was with Sicily it was also difficult for him to retrieve it.

"When we arrive at the inn, can I see the device?"

Sicily looked at him who just asked, then smiled and nodded. "I will show it later but after this I hope there won't be any mistakes. I'm very afraid that something will happen on Earth again and cause destruction. It's enough that we've suffered for a few years, I also can't possibly die because of all the disasters that can't be predicted by the officers who pay attention to the earth's disasters and destruction. This black object makes me a little anxious but I realize that if something has happened and will happen, it will still happen and I can't prevent it.

"Now we're here and this black thing is flashing. Don't let us arrive here just to take care of something that becomes a problem, hopefully it won't and we can live our lives better. I went here too to get a vacation instead of taking care of a case. Hopefully there is nothing, hopefully our arrival will not get bad memories from this country."

Stein was silent as he could not be sure either. Their conversation stopped when the pick-up officer arrived and immediately took them to his car. Along the way Stein was silent thinking about how to get and retrieve the device, because after all he had to keep the device away from Sicily and clearly monitor the whereabouts of his parents in the section and where.

"If I manage to save them without bringing suspicion from the people I can definitely take them to the planet and leave this earth. Hopefully they're not in a dangerous place or I'll have a hard time reaching them."

Sicily also didn't understand why Stein just stayed silent all the way like he was thinking about something. This man was a little strange but she also didn't want to disturb him too much because maybe Stein was tired so he just kept quiet like that.

Arriving at the inn that Sicily had booked using Stein's money, they finally entered their respective rooms that had been booked even though they were still side by side. There were a few other visitors staying at the inn, looking calmly living their life of leisure as if they were away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

As can be clearly seen, the town is quite quiet and there are not many sensations like those in the city. Even this place was not so polluted, it was just that the people were so quiet that they rarely met anyone along the way.

"I'm going to rest and we'll find some food after resting and changing."

Those were their words before entering their respective rooms. Sicily made sure there were no hidden cameras installed in her room, before she finally went into the bathroom and cleaned herself up. It was then that without her realizing it, Stein with a transparent method overtook into her room and saw the black object that Sicily had placed inside the nightstand drawer.

"I had to make a duplicate that wasn't very functional so she wouldn't suspect why it was missing. The original can't stay with Sicily for too long or else she'll find this thing first instead of me and cause trouble, so I'd better replace it and take it secretly because if I tell her everything honestly, she won't believe me and it's dangerous to do that right now."

Taking the black object and taking out a similar object from inside his pocket, Stein exchanged it silently and it made him a little relieved that Sicily had not finished bathing either. Because even though he looked transparent and would not be visible to Sicily's eyes but still the movement of the drawer opening and being caught by human eyes.

Stein looked at the bathroom for a while and then walked away and returned to his room. He did not expect that the thing he had been looking for had come and was in front of his face. It kept blinking like it was hinting at something and that made her quickly open one of the sections and press it until a projector appeared displaying a floor plan map.

There was a red triangle sign that seemed to give a warning, also showing an address where his parents might be hidden. It was only after Stein read the place that she realized that the warehouse that looked shabby from the outside was in fact a research laboratory.

"I don't know if my parents are hidden there or not, but this clearly shows that they are there, but what if this is a lure that makes me fall into their trap?"

For a few moments, Stein gazed at the object thoughtfully and read the several ways out that she could take. He knew that it would likely be difficult but he also realized that if he stopped now then all of this would be ruined.

"I'm more concerned with their safety first and the rest I can organize later. Although I am already ready to take over the power on the planet but if my parents are still alive this is a happy news and makes me feel a little calm because I will not focus on power first. I need to save them, to speed things up and allow me to stay with Sicily no matter what."

Stein knew that he could have been influenced by bad desires because he was more concerned about his life and the benefits he would get if he took over this thing and saved his parents. He knew there were many advantages he could gain but also knew it might make him have to do it in haste.

"I brought Sicily, how do I make all this make more sense?"

Pausing for a moment, Stein sat on the basket and thought hard. He had to find a way because this was something serious and he couldn't play around anymore. Once he figured things out then he would get what he wanted seemingly with no trouble at all. All of this had to be organized properly or else it would fall apart because it was not to her liking.

"I have to discuss it with Sicily, but at a pace that might make her understand. It seems like creating an illusion that will end positively but manage to contaminate her mind is a good thing. I can make everything according to that so that Sicily doesn't feel afraid of me and feel that we were the first to interfere. Even though we were the first to interfere but at least I came here to resolve the interference and bring the people who were the same as me back to the planet.

"There's only this way, I won't stop unless everything is finished safely and I get a lot of benefits for being able to finish everything well. If I can finish all of this without creating a riot then that would be even better and there's no need to waste the budget on this. After this maybe she'll settle things well and after I settle things too I'll come back here and pick her up. I won't leave Sicily alone because that is something that is impossible to do."

After thinking for a long time and making sure that everything he thought of made sense, Stein put his head on the pillow and put the black device on his chest as well. Slowly the black device disappeared and merged with a part of herself. With that he would have no trouble finding traces of his parents, he just needed to think of a way to find them and not commit any crimes while bringing them home.

"I have to do something to make this all make sense. If I tell you outright that I'm an alien, Sicily won't want to get close to me anymore because she thinks we might be invaders. No, the best I can do is what I thought of earlier, I have to be able to do it and make sure this is all done well."
