Chapter 22

Stein looked at Sicily's face who had woken up, at this time he was in transparent mode wanting to know how Sicily's reaction and view after first waking up. And what he saw was Sicily's silence for a few moments as if she was realizing something.

This girl was seen staring right and left and holding her lips, making Stein because he knew that this girl must have realized what they had done last night. It was also why Stein had deliberately waited since earlier so that she could see how this girl dealt with life and the reality she had just known.

"Is what Stein did to me real or a dream? Why do I feel like I just kissed him?"

Sicily got up, the girl looked even more beautiful when she finished sleeping and made Stein realize that this girl was not just any girl. He liked it when she looked like she was confused even though he wouldn't make her more embarrassed if she remembered what they did.

"It seems that because of spending too long in this house and spending time with me, she got carried away. How could such a handsome and wealthy man do this to me? You're just an ordinary girl who doesn't have any abilities. I hope he doesn't accept my deepening feelings or else the problem will not only be this but also his life which he doesn't know what it's like yet."

Sighing, Sicily knew that the man must be wealthy and have many abilities. How was she going to do all this like it was something she couldn't do? 

"Never mind, continuing to act as usual will make our lives fine. I know he still has parents and I'm lazy to get rejected because this will affect me mentally. I've been abandoned by my parents so there's no way that when I get to know a guy I'll be rejected by his parents too. It's too funny, love life is very funny and I don't want to live it."

Stein heard all that so he fell silent and walked out and entered in a visible state. Sicily looked at him who was already smiling, before finally he actually entered and looked at her gently.

"Is there something you feel that makes you uncomfortable?"

Sicily sighed softly and shook her head.

"Then why don't you get out of bed? Usually you're always up and about."

Realizing that Stein could not possibly be talking about their incident last night, Sicily finally sighed and looked at him with a serious face.

"It's okay, I'm just resting because I haven't recovered yet. Later at 10:00 I'll come to the University again and study, if you need clothes you can go to the mall to buy them since your clothes are few. Aren't we going to M country? It's better how much you prepare for departure so that you won't be busy later."

Stein was evasive so Sicily was also good at evasion. They both did not talk about the kiss or the like they had done last night, Stein was also just silent because he did not want to make this girl feel uncomfortable if he said it.

However, Sicily had her own reasons for refusing to talk about it so she didn't want to make it worse.

"I'm going to the bathroom."

Stein smiled and nodded. "I'll wait for you in the kitchen, there's something there and you should take a look."

Sicily raised an eyebrow then smiled and nodded. She said she would shower first and then go to the kitchen and that made Stein nod in agreement. The two separated and Stein decided to go straight to the kitchen while Sicily watched him from behind the bathroom door.

"He even looks very relaxed, not feeling guilty about doing this to me at all. I know he doesn't seem to have any intention of continuing the relationship so it's better to think of it as a mistake. It's good that I didn't get carried away from the start, otherwise I might have been disappointed."

Sicily sighed, although she was indeed disappointed but her disappointment was small and it would not make things bigger. Right now her life was very stable and good so she didn't want to make everything fall apart just because of a romance problem.

Romance problems are the most complicated problems in the world, so she didn't want to say anything and decided to keep everything a secret.

"I don't have feelings for her either, if she forgets about this then I need to forget about it too. Isn't there nothing difficult? It all depends on how life goes."

Stein smiled at the presence of Sicily who was already staring at the food on the table. The girl looked silent for a moment then looked at him who had risen.

"I've got a nice meal for you," Stein said proudly. "Last night I saw that you were very weak and couldn't do anything so today I gave you food to make you stronger. Do you have anything to do?"

Sicily smiled and pulled out her chair. She looked at Stein's face who was already serving food to her plate.

"You should eat a lot because this will bring changes to your mood, those unstable feelings will usually make you hungry often and this is the same process."

Sicily smiled and ate her food, she was also hungry and if she did not intend to do anything she usually ordered food without cooking at all.

It felt calmer when there was food in front of her face but she couldn't do that every day because she also had to save money. Today because Stein had cooked it first, Sicily could finally enjoy her food without worrying because she also needed healing to calm down if she was too tired to think.

"I can help you in this matter, but for your other matters and tasks I can't do it. Although I know that there are some aliens in this city but I can't possibly tell you because I would prefer them to be brought back home. Currently, Fregest has responded to my words and decided to send a UFO to bring them home. Hopefully, it won't be too late and I won't create a big riot because this will definitely be noticed at some point.

"In any case, the disappearance system will indeed disappear but if he is there then it won't make them get a view of it. But maybe I can't keep it a secret from the eyes of the cameras which more or less have higher skills than the blank eyes of humans. It's better to secure all this from the start and not make any trouble than to make trouble."

Stein said that in his heart while eating and watching Sicily occasionally. He knew that this girl was in trouble because of the order from Professor John who asked her to investigate aliens. Ordinary humans wouldn't be able to figure that out but without any guilt at all Professor John ordered him about this.

"The food is good, which restaurant did you buy it at?"

"I don't know, I ordered it online when I saw the browser on one of the websites. He said it was good for breakfast and he was open from dawn so I could buy it at dawn when I woke up. Last night you unconsciously fell asleep right away and that let you know that you were in an abnormal state. That's why I came to your room several times and checked whether you were sick or not but you weren't. You just lacked strength and dropped a bit from exhaustion, but there's no way I could ask you to take a day off from University because you wouldn't want to. I'd better order some food that can make you feel stronger later before leaving."

Sicily smiled and said thank you. "Sometimes I will have a drop like this, my mentality is really beaten up and makes me uncomfortable. Hopefully after this I can make things better, it won't be a problem and after this I can return to my usual activities."

Sicily is strong, Stein knew and realized that she was intentionally strengthening herself to make herself more calm and confident in life. After all, life in this world was harsh, they just needed to have a safe life to continue performing better.

"After finishing my last assignment two days later we're going abroad. I'm really looking forward to it because it will allow me to experience a quieter life. It will take another year before I can graduate from Siti University so I can't do any fun activities right now. But I realize that it's likely that the work environment will be more difficult, so I just need to do everything well without having to experience difficulties."

That morning, Sicily talked a lot and discussed many things with him. It showed that she was actually feeling very happy and anxious at the same time. This girl didn't have anyone who would listen to what she had to say so far, so when there was someone who would listen she just talked and wouldn't stop.

"I'm feeling better already," Sicily said while exercising lightly behind the house. "It's also very sunny this morning, it seems very good that I already have extra energy from breakfast."

Stein smiled softly and rubbed his head. His behavior made Sicily pause, but then because she felt comfortable, Sicily just kept quiet and looked at Stein's face in front of her.

"If I invited you to live with me without people who would get in the way, would you be willing?"

Sicily was silent, she thought the discussion about this feeling was over because there was no more since Stein said it.

"In what order?"

Stein smiled, rubbing his head again. "In terms of maybe more than friends or something but I just don't want you to stay alone and enjoy your life alone like this. We can still do things like now together and alone, why separate when we can be together?"

Sicily was silent for a moment. "Aren't your parents going to object and forbid me?"

"Why should they think of others? I also have my own house and residence, we can live there without anyone disturbing us. How about it?"
