Chapter 21

Stein looked at Sicily who had moved closer to him while holding a tablet. The girl said they could book a plane ticket to go to country M from now on, even if it was a few days or weeks later.

It was a strange system that they could book in advance. They could deliberately choose the schedule and they could even do that for overseas flights. He wondered if it was really that easy to live in the so-called human world and the technology was more backward than the alien world?

Sicily looked at Stein who was silent as he started looking for a good date. The man was staring at the tablet screen with a serious look and to show that there was something that this man did not understand.

"Why? Is something wrong? Why did you just stay quiet and not participate in choosing a good date for us to go?"

Stein came to his senses, looked straight at the questioning Sicilian and it made him clear his throat.

"Nothing, I just follow all the schedules you choose because you're in college and if there's a day off we can go there. Don't worry, I'm not that busy so whenever you choose I can come along. Don't think about me but think about yourself so that you don't miss out on your studies and feelings."

Sicily smiled softly and nodded. "Then I will choose the 20th because on this date I am getting a monthly leave of 4 days. I'm already quite tired of the thoughts and tasks of the university and even Professor John, so now I want to enjoy the time and going there is enough for me."

Stein smiled at that. "Then you can do it from now on so that you don't run out of tickets like you said earlier. If there are some students who are also on vacation at that time and they also want to go abroad, won't it clash? They could snatch them first and we could run out," he said making Sicily chuckle.

"Alright, we're being a bit reasonable. Then I'll book it immediately on this date. That way we won't run out of tickets and fail to go. But what I know is that there won't be any young people willing to go there unless there is a specific purpose. If I had my choice, I would choose another country, but since you feel called to go there, I will accompany you first. After that, we will travel to some other countries when we have more money," Sicily said with a chuckle.

Stein smiled, looking at her face with a serious gaze and he found Sicily's face so bright and so visibly excited. There were many dreams of this girl that he found in her eyes but could not express and do because the burden of her life was already too heavy.

Stein promised that he would continue to be with her, even if he met his parents later. Although he might leave her for a while but after that he would return and bring back happiness and a decent life to Sicily who deserved a lot of happiness and luck.

"After this I will accompany you wherever you want. There are three countries that I can use as objects of choice for you and you can judge for yourself. If my journey and search there goes well then I will accompany you at my own expense and if there is no need to think anything about expenses. Because after this, we will find many adventures and we will do it one by one from each country to another."

Sicily looked at him with a sparkling face. "Are you serious?"

"Hmm, of course. I have enough money for traveling and I can even take more from my account if I'm short because I always have enough money. This all means that I can take you wherever you want, you just need to be prepared because after this, going abroad is just another trip for you."

Sicily smiled widely, looking completely innocent and it made Stein feel fond of her. This girl never asked but would always accept if given something. Sicily was quite good at this and it looked like she would succeed in being the first person to mock her for not knowing herself because she was a girl.

"Then I've booked the departure schedule, give me your ID card so I can complete the payment and verification."

Stein took out his card, then gave it to Sicily who was already smiling and moving to photograph the card. She scanned it and the like, and found out that the card was indeed genuine and Stein had actually done this alone because she had no company. She did it on purpose, after all, to make Stein feel more confident since this man had amnesia and knew nothing about his life.

"Already, we'll be leaving in a few days. Let's prepare for departure, I'll also take care of the remaining tasks so that I don't trouble myself there," Sicily said, making Stein smile and nod.

Stein watched television afterwards, then looked at Sicily who had been staring at her laptop without moving. He knew she was passionate and serious about her work, so he didn't bother her and just let her do what she wanted.

"After this, are you going to take care of some other things?"

Sicily turned her head and smiled. "No, after this it's rest. I've been moving and working on the task since earlier, it's almost done."

Stein nodded in understanding and looked at her again. The girl had gone back to her work and made Stein not want to talk to her anymore. Sicily had to live an organized life, he didn't want his questions to disturb Sicily who was focused.

"Is this also something that must be understood? Human life is full of tasks and it's actually similar to life on the planet because we also have to learn a lot. The difference is that we learned to strengthen ourselves and be able to use the power we were born with, not just because we learned to be smart. We were already smart from birth and that shows that we are capable of doing whatever we want."

Life on Earth is much more difficult for her because the children also have to study and follow the standards set by the schools on Earth, while if they talk about other things they will only see Earth life as very calm and relaxed. 

There are pluses and minuses, all life is like that and they can only take care of everything alone if they no longer have parents just like Sicily today. Unlike the earth which is not like that because they actually have leaders who care.

That made Stein feel that while it was harder in some ways and better in others, it wasn't all bad because they could have a better life.

"There would be no difficulties in life if it weren't for living it and finding solutions. I believe that with all this, she actually has more abilities than us, I just don't know because I don't know her very well."

Moments later, Sicily yawned softly and dozed off briefly at her desk. But she woke up and looked at Stein who was still focused on watching television, until finally she got up and sat next to the man.

"I'm so sleepy," Sicily said as she yawned softly. "Would it be okay if I didn't cook dinner?"

Stein raised his eyebrows. "Since when did it matter to me?"

Sicily smiled softly as Stein rubbed her face gently and it made Sicily swallow. She was startled by this man's actions, but then she familiarized herself and looked at Stein's face that was so close to her.

"I just don't want to trouble you too much so we can order food later. Go to sleep, you don't have to think about anything. Let's just live our lives casually and not get stressed out about everything. What were you thinking when you said that?"

Sicily took a breath and smiled softly. "After all, you've given me quite a lot of money for you to stay here. I have to treat you well since it's a wordless agreement," she said making Stein smile before looking down quietly.

Sicily swallowed, while Stein felt the desire growing stronger in his heart.

"I do, don't I?"

"Wh-what?"

"You didn't realize?" Stein asked with a serious face. "You're beautiful and made me unconsciously fall in love with you. If I already love someone do I have to do that to him? I didn't ask you to cook every day but since you're willing to do it that's why I like it. It's just that I didn't say it because you're also feeling excited," he said making Sicily swallow her saliva.

"What you're talking about I don't understand."

Stein smiled, then actually kissed Sicily's lips and licked them lightly. His instincts remained the same as humans because they are also like this when they are in love. Moreover, Sicily was human so he just needed to follow all the things related to this girl and her life. Because he knew that this girl was a person who certainly knew how to express feelings and love in human affairs and relationships.

For a while, Stein kissed her, Sicily unconsciously fell asleep and that made Stein smile. He was happy when he saw this girl's calm face, making him calm down a little. Touching her head, Stein made the memory of this night disappear a little but then he stopped and after doing so because when else could he express these feelings although maybe after this she would fight back without being rejected or the like.

"I never really fell in love with an alien on my planet, but with you I consciously did and felt it, is this a feeling of love or just a desire?" he murmured while hugging Sicily's body and rubbing her face.

He knew that this girl was quite attractive. Getting her was a good thing after he tried to find here and there about her parents. Let's just say that this girl was a bonus and he could get her all at once.
