Chapter 14. The Kingdom of Megana

"When will they be back?" asked Arcyl to Regina who was massaging Arcyl's feet.


Regina just shook her head in response. It was true that Regina did not know when Tom and his friends would return.


Since the departure of Tom and his friends, he felt forced labor. Regina becomes Arcyl's slave, who must serve and obey Arcyl's orders.


Even Regina was not given enough proper food!

"Regina! I've been talking to you all along!" Arcyl snapped at Regina.

Regina rolled her eyes in disbelief. Why is Arcyl so sensitive?

Arcyl smiled annoyingly at Regina which made Regina want to tear the mouth of the man in front of her.


"You didn't hear what I said earlier, and pissed me off!" snapped Arcyl.


"But-but, I just-" Regina's words stopped when Arcy looked at her with eyes that were ready to pounce.


Regina is scared!


Like it or not the woman complied when she was dragged to the basement. If this is the case, certainly, she will not get food rations.

"I'm here, in this corner," he said again.


Regina immediately sharpened her eyes toward what the woman said earlier. And sure enough! She saw a woman sitting in the corner of the cell.


Regina with definite steps walked over to the woman. "Why are you here?" asked Regina curiously.


What wrong did that woman do to be held in this shitty cell?


"I accidentally dropped a tray of food for prince Arcyl," he said with a chuckle.


Regina frowned confused, how could this woman smile innocently?

Of course, she was punished. Finding food is not easy! Especially when Arcyl wants to drink human blood where they are looking for it.


Isn't that fateful?


Regina thought the woman made a small mistake like herself. "What was in that tray you dropped over?"


"Human blood that was just hunted earlier," answered her.


And Regina's guess was right!


"Why are you still laughing? Wouldn't that be life-threatening? What if Prince Arcyl finds out you dropped the tray of food he just hunted?" asked Regina curiously.


The woman stared intently into Regina's eyes, "I'm bored being here. What do you think if we leave here too?" offered the woman


Regina rolled her eyes in shock, was this woman in front of her asking her to leave the kingdom?


"Hey! what are you thinking?"


"I just want to join them to find peace in the human realm, is that wrong?" replied the woman


"Could it be that you accidentally dropped the tray? Do you know? Actions like that can threaten your life, not get kicked out of Megana." Regina explained to the woman.


Regina's words are true, once under the auspices of the Megana kingdom, she will not be able to escape again. Released alive, unless he could escape.

But still, Arcyl will not remain silent. That arrogant man will continue to find out information and drag his way back to the room. It doesn't matter if she lives or dies.


But as if the woman didn't care, she remained indifferent to Regina's explanation which made Regina curious about that woman.

Regina was surprised by this woman. Why was the answer so surprising?

"Who's talking? You came to the palace?" asked Nathaniel to make sure.


Nathaniel breathed a sigh of relief when Millie shook her head in response. Because it was very fateful when Millie came to the palace. Millie's life could have been lost if she didn't answer the whereabouts of her other friends.


"Then, who?" asked Nathaniel curiously.


"With my friend," Millie answered.

Ah! It seemed that the woman did not want to reveal the identity of her friend.


It was predictable from the way he spoke. Nathaniel also wouldn't ask what friend Millie was referring to. "When did you meet that friend of yours?" asked Nathaniel


"3 days ago. He was here too, but he immediately returned to the palace. Only saw the human world. Didn't mingle in it," Millie explained.


Nathaniel nodded in response. What is clear now is that Megana is very messy.


"Would you like to eat the roast chicken?" asked Millie to Nathaniel at the roast chicken stand a few meters away from her.


Nathaniel chuckled, usually he eats raw chicken straight away, but why now? baked? Nathaniel knows various processed chicken.


"Should we give it a try?" Nathaniel offered to Millie.


Millie quickly nodded enthusiastically. Nathaniel, who knew Millie's happy face, immediately got up from his seat and stretched out his hand to Millie. "Come on!"


Without waiting for a long time, Millie immediately accepted Nathaniel's helping hand happily.
