Chapter 28. Returning home

Arriving at home, Tom immediately opened the door quickly and ran to Tom's room.


"Your husband misses his son, Rose," Nathaniel said with a chuckle.

Rose just smiled faintly answering the question of the man walking next to her. “I hope Millie doesn't sell my couch anymore,” Rose said jokingly.


Nathaniel of course laughed at Rose's words, it turns out that Rose was not as stiff as he thought. Nathaniel thought Rose was a stiff and talkative girl. But wrong.


Rose is a good and cheerful woman, don't forget to mix it with her beautiful face. No wonder his friends are very fond of this woman.


"Honey, where is our son?" asked Tom in a panic while approaching Rose who had just arrived in the living room.


Shocked, of course!


Why did Millie and Leo go?

Did Arcyl catch them? "You've been looking for it in the room?" Rose asked if she didn't panic.


"Yes, and nothing. Where are they?" asked Tom again.


"Calm down, they must be around here," Nathaniel said trying to calm Rose and Tom.


"I'll check inside," said Rose suddenly and immediately looked for her child around the first floor.


"Leo!" she shouted


"Millie, where are you?" She continued.

A worried look never left Rose's expression. So did Tom. He was very afraid that the mastermind behind all this was Arcyl.

Nathaniel also helped look for Millie and Leo outside.


“What are you guys looking for? When have you been back?"


Tom's eyes and Rose immediately investigated, looking for the source of the sound, and sure enough. Millie stood innocently while holding Leo looking at them in confusion.


Tom just walked right up to Millie and took over the son. Leo said with a chuckle as if the baby was very happy to meet Tom.


Tom, who saw it, felt exasperated, and immediately showered his son's face with short kisses. Leo who was needed as that laughed out loud. “Do you miss your father this Boy?” asked Tom with a happy smile.


He had not seen his son for a very long time. And when I met Leo, he was already big, about 1 year old. There was a real tightness inside Tom. Because he could not see the growth of his son.


"Where have you been Millie?" asked Nathaniel who joined Millie.


“I'm making Leo milk, the little guy seems hungry, he can't sleep. It's your fault, why didn't you ring the bell?" Millie said as if she didn't want to be blamed.


Isn't that right? This wasn't entirely Millie's fault, indeed it was a bit far from the kitchen. Earlier Millie only heard a voice calling her and Leo, but the woman completely ignored her.


She was still focused on the water she was boiling and also on Leo who was in her arms. Of course, she didn't pay attention to the things around him when he was busy. “You can answer my call, Millie!” said Tom sarcastically.


“Hey! Why are you so annoying every day, Tom? You should be thanking me for taking care of your son.”


"Come on, why are you guys fighting?! It's still early in the morning, and you've already amplified the commotion. Stop talking, I'm tired,” said Nathaniel who was furious with Tom and Millie's behavior.


Not once or twice did he get dizzy with the two humans. It felt like Nathaniel was tired and wanted to throw the two of them into a river full of crocodiles so that Nathaniel would feel calm.


Nathaniel immediately slammed his tired body on the sofa. The man simply closed his eyes. Millie approached Nathaniel when she noticed that there was a blue liquid soaking Nathaniel's clothes.

"Nathaniel, what's wrong with you?" asked Millie intently.


"It's okay, it's just a small wound," Nathaniel answered still with his eyes closed.


Millie couldn't believe it when she found Nathaniel's stomach which seemed to be bleeding. Millie swiftly uncovered Nathaniel's shirt which made Nathaniel's six-pack stomach even more. "Gosh, what's wrong with you?" screamed Millie in a panic.


“Just a small cut, Millie. Calm down"


"How can you calm down if your blood hasn't stopped like this?" said Millie angrily. "Wait! I will treat your wound," he continued again.


Meanwhile, Rose still saw Nathaniel's stomach, which was bleeding blue, not profusely, but there was a fairly deep incision.


Tom snorted at that and immediately pulled his wife towards the room with Leo still in his arms. "What did you see, honey?" asked Tom, glancing at his wife.


Tom could see Rose was still looking at Nathaniel's stomach. “Why are you looking at Nathaniel like that? I am so much more than Nathaniel!” Tom said angrily and then walked ahead of his wife.


Rose immediately ran following Tom from behind. Rose's smile widened when she saw her husband's funny behavior. "Tom, what's wrong with you?" she asked.


Rose didn't understand why her husband suddenly got annoyed. "Tom," Rose called again while closing the bedroom door.


There was no answer, instead, the man focused on Leo who was babbling. Furious Rose just walked over to the man and sat on the bed, close to Tom.


But Tom never gave an answer, which made Rose furious. “What are you up to?” asked Rose who was almost frustrated.


"Was what I gave earlier not enough?" asked Tom suddenly.


Rose looked at her husband confused, what did Tom give her? Rose didn't feel like she was given anything at all.


“The one in the palace, Rose! Are you dissatisfied with me staring at Nathaniel's stomach like that?” asked Tom, eyeing his wife intensely.


Rose, who knew what Tom meant, immediately looked away, why did Tom ask something like that?

Her cheeks were already hot this time. "Answer me, Rose, are you interested in Nathaniel?"


“Honey, what are you talking about? I'm not interested in Nathaniel. I just-"


“See Nathaniel's belly?” continued Tom with annoyance.


“No, Tom! God, what's wrong with you? I only focused on Nathaniel's wound, which was emitting blue liquid," said Rose. "Are you jealous?" continued Rose again intending to seduce her husband.


“Of course! I don't want you to get close to any man, even if it's Nathaniel, my friend," said Tom honestly.


Rose held Tom's hand gently and lovingly. "No one made me fall like this except you Tom. Only you!" said Rose sincerely while looking at Rose shady.


Tom smiled happily when Rose said that. Tom immediately pulled Rose into his arms, not forgetting to plant a short kiss on Rose's forehead. Get some rest, Rose, I know you're tired” Tom said again.


Again and again, Tom's words were able to make her cheeks blush again, she remembered the activities she had just done with Tom a few hours ago at the palace.

The sun has done its job, indicating that the day has started again. Rose was busy cooking Tom's body breakfast, of course with Millie and Nathaniel. The two instants did not go straight home, both of them rested in the guest room.


“Honey, since when did you wake up?” asked Tom, who was still pillow-faced.

"Where's your boss, Tom?" Rose asked, glancing at Tom who was not wearing a top. “So what? are you tempted? I told you that Nathaniel's is nothing," said Tom teasingly.


"Come on, hurry up and take a shower and we'll have breakfast together!" Rose ordered, why is her husband being annoying like this? And why can't Rose's cheeks be compromised?


Tom walked towards Rose and kissed Rose's plump lips briefly, "I'm going to take a bath with Leo," said Tom, immediately running away from Rose.


Rose just shook her head at her husband's cute antics. So adorable!

"We have to find troops, Tom," said Nathaniel seriously.


"Yes, I know. We have to make our troops defeat Arcyl” answered Tom.


"I'm also surprised at those who still want to devote themselves to Arcyl. Even though it is very detrimental! Arcyl never feeds people who have given him food. Just wondering, why would they want to?” said Millie with a confused face.


Currently, the three men were talking in the living room. After breakfast, Tom immediately discussed with Nathaniel forming troops to fight Arcyl.


“It was his power that brought them all to their knees. They can be killed at any time, just like what Claire said,” said Tom.


Indeed, Claire once said to herself that anyone who doesn't want to obey Arcyl's orders, Arcyl will not hesitate to kill him. How cruel indeed!


"So what about your mother Tom? Is she safe with Claire?" she asked. "Why didn't you bring her here?" he continued.



Tom exhaled roughly, if his mother had not been hidden by Arcyl, it was clear that Tom would have brought her here. Arcyl is increasingly doing arbitrary! Tom promised himself to kill Arcyl and make his mother queen of Megana.


All Tom wants is the destruction of Arcyl!


"I don't know, Claire also doesn't know where mom is. Arcyl hid my mom,” Tom answered soberly.


“What an asshole that guy is!” Millie swears not when angry.


"That's right, that's why we have to find troops right now and destroy Arcyl's glory," said Nathaniel with determination.

“Okay, I'll come with you Tom,” Millie answered. "Even though you're annoying," she continued.


Tom didn't pay attention to Milie's words, the man was focused on his wife who was playing with Leo, Tom didn't allow Rose to interfere in this matter, because that would endanger Rose's safety.
