Chapter 19. Arcyl's Power

Tom stared at the palace in front of him. He and Nathaniel began to enter Arcyl's palace, and the first thing he saw inside was his longing mother. Now her mother's body is thin as if she wasn't taken care of, or was her mother not treated well? Her hands clenched at the state of her mother.


"Mom!" shouted Tom when he saw his mother in a bad condition. Tom felt like crying while hugging his mother.


"How about it, Tom? Do you want to give up?" said Arcyl with a grin. Behind him, some men are ready at any time to protect him.


"Let go of my mother, Arcyl!" Tom said to Arcyl seriously.


Arcyl laughed loudly as if underestimating Tom's words. "Let it go free? No way!" said Arcyl emphatically. There was no way an Arcyl would let go of an enemy, otherwise, it would be to his advantage.


Arcyl's words provoked Tom's anger. Especially considering the incident when Robert came to his atomic home to take Rose from him, really made Tom angry.


"How about we make a deal? You hand over the owner of the holy blood and return to this palace, and I will let your mother go?" asked Arcyl with a scary smile, which succeeded in igniting Tom's anger.


Tom immediately attacked Arcyl passionately when he heard Arcyl's words involving his wife.


Like Tom, Nathaniel tried to paralyze Arcyl's many men. Arcyl fought Tom casually because he knew his strength was greater than Tom's.


"It's useless for you to fight me, still you will lose. Because my strength is many times greater than yours," sneered Arcyl.


"If you manage to beat me, I will release your mother," continued Arcyl.


Tom met Arcyl's eyes with hostility. "I will beat you," he said with determination.


Arcyl smiled at that. "Oh yeah? I'm looking forward to that incident," he continued. He doesn't need to waste a lot of energy to beat Tom, if he only uses a little strength he can make Tom fall.


Seeing Arcyl so relaxed against him, he found an opening to overthrow Arcyl. By using all his power to attack Arcyl. Arcyl also uses a lot of strength to beat him.


Of course, he would lose!


Because their strength is unequal.


Tom's body was thrown not far from his mother. He saw his mother sadly. "Go away, mom! It's okay. If you keep fighting it, you will become weak. Because your strength will continue to be drained," Tom said, in a low voice. His body is weak, if that energy can be seen, then his energy is gone when seen.


How not weak? He was not treated well. He was not even given food or drink. He was very tormented living in this palace.


"How about it, Tom? You've already lost," said Arcyl mockingly.


Tom's hands clenched. Without warning, he immediately attacked Arcyl blindly. However, he lost until his body was thrown away. His back hit the wall hard. Now Tom's body is covered with bruises.


"TOM!" shouted Nathaniel as he watched Tom get knocked off the ground by Arcyl's attack.


Nathaniel quickly defeated Arcyl's men, he ran towards Tom whose body was full of wounds.


"Tom, we better get out of here. We'll talk about our plans later," said Nathaniel, who was tired. He could no longer afford to fight Arcyl's men.


"No, I have to take my mother away from this place now," chuckled Tom, Nathaniel sighed.


"Give up, Tom! Your strength is not as big as mine, no matter how hard you fight me, you will still lose." Arcyl hissed with a warning.


Tom looked at his mother. "Go! You can bring your mother next time," Regina ordered gently.


"Mom, I promise to take you away from here."


"Yes, I hope you can."


Tom turned to look at Nathaniel. "Let's go!" he asked.


They changed their form into wolves, away from Arcyl's palace.


"Chase and catch them, don't let them escape," Arcyl ordered his men.


His men went after Tom and Nathaniel in their wolf form, followed by Arcyl.

"How about this, they're chasing us. Meanwhile, we can't possibly beat them all, plus Arcyl who is very strong," fretted Nathaniel.


"Don't worry, we just need to avoid them. Don't get caught by them," said Tom, even though he wasn't sure.


In an instant, Arcyl and his men surrounded them in their human forms. They both changed their form to humans.


"Where do you want to run? If you have come to my palace, then you can't just leave," hissed Arcyl furiously. It was like he was being toyed with as if they had only come to provoke him and then just left.


"Damn it." Tom cursed when they were both surrounded.


"What's with the look on your face? You guys seem depressed because you're too afraid of me," said Arcyl with contempt.


"You better obey me, then you will be safe. Listen to me, come back to the palace, and bring the holy blood. Then I will let you go, as well as your mother, Tom," continued Arcyl full of warning.


"Who said we were afraid?" Nathaniel growled, he was fed up with Arcyl's selfish and arbitrary nature.


"And we don't want to go back to your palace," continued Tom.


"Just like a coward who brings a lot of people, or for not daring to fight alone?" Tom continued to spark Arcyl's emotions.


Arcyl could not control his emotions. He immediately attacked Tom and Nathaniel with all his might.


Instantly Tom and Nathaniel were thrown into a tree, their mouths leaking fresh blue blood.


Arcyl approached, and he clutched their cheeks. "I told you already, right? Obey with me then you will be safe, or if you argue with me then you will be hurt." Arcyl hissed, tightening his grip.


Tom coughed "W-we'd rather crash than go back to your castle." said Tom haltingly. He felt pain in his cheek, due to Arcyl's grip.


Arcyl released his grip, smashing their faces roughly. "Take them to jail!" Arcyl ordered his men.


They returned to the palace with Tom and Nathaniel who had passed out.


"Excuse me, sir. We have obtained a person of holy blood," said Robert taking Rose.


"Good! Immediately take the sacred blood," said Arcyl with pleasure.


Rose cried in fright. "Please let me go. I don't know anything, my child is alone there," pleaded Rose who was still sobbing.


"By getting the holy blood, my strength will increase," muttered Arcyl with a loud laugh. Thinking about how if he succeeded in obtaining the holy blood, his strength would increase, and he could rule over the werewolf race, making them submit to him.


Hearing Arcyl's terrible laugh, Rose was even more scared. Dan was more scared when she heard they wanted to take her blood.


Arcyl's pleasure ended hearing the truth come out of Robert's mouth.


"Sir, it seems that taking this sacred blood is not easy," said Robert when he wanted to take Rose's blood.


"Why can't it?!" asked Arcyl with angry emotions.


"Maybe it's not easy because the owner of this holy blood is already in touch with Tom,"

Arcyl glared at Rose angrily. "Useless! Put him in jail!" snapped Arcyl angrily.


Robert drags Rose to prison. "Shut up, finish your crying, it's very annoying," asked Robert.


Rose pressed her lips together, trying not to let out a sob.


Rose is so scared to be here!


Especially surrounded by werewolves!


She didn't want to be here.


Robert opened the prison padlock, he pushed Rose into the prison, until Rose fell.


"Rose!"


Shouted Tom and Nathaniel who had woken up from their stupor. They approached Rose.


Tom immediately helped Rose who fell due to Robert's encouragement. Rose hugged Tom in fear.


"Tom... I'm so scared," Rose said quietly while sobbing in her husband's arms. She downplayed her ego, even though Tom was a werewolf. However, Tom is not evil like them. Tom is still a good husband Tom.


"Rose, how did you get here?" asked Tom worriedly.


"Suddenly the man came to the house and brought me here,"


"What about Leo? Is he okay?" asked Tom, he didn't want his child to be with Arcyl.


"When they dragged me, Leo cried. I'm afraid Leo what's wrong,"


Tom breathed a sigh of relief, at least Leo was safe with Millie.


Imagining this incident made Rose very frightened. Tom was confused because Rose kept crying.


"Millie can take good care of Leo, no need to worry," said Nathaniel.


Tom nodded his head. "Nathaniel is right. Millie can take care of Leo, so don't cry anymore," said Tom.


Tom didn't want his wife to cry. He believes that Millie can take good care of Leo by any means.


"We have to find a way so we can get out of this castle before Arcyl comes here," said Nathaniel.


"You're right, but it looks like it will be more difficult. As we know, Arcyl has many men guarding this palace in every corner," explained Tom. It was clear he experienced how difficult it was to escape from this palace.


Rose just kept quiet listening to Tom and Nathaniel's conversation. She understood their conversation. However, she still did not expect to experience such a situation.


Who wants to experience a horrific incident like this? Don't want to.

"Sir, we have put all three of them in prison," said Robert, reporting to Arcyl.


"Take good care of them, don't let their guard down or they'll run away, got it?!" Arcyl ordered.


"Yes sir," Robert said with a slight bow, then went to the prison to carry out his master's orders.

He don't know what Arcyl gave to Robert so this man was very obedient to whatever Arcyl ordered.


Arcyl played with his hand. "Tom, Nathaniel, you can't run away anymore," muttered Arcyl with a smirk on his lips.


Arcyl will not just let them go. They had to return to the palace as before, and he had to quickly get the holy blood.


"Yes, I have to make everyone afraid to submit to me. Until I can get what I want," he monologues with a chuckle. Power, who doesn't want that?


Arcyl doesn't want his efforts to be in vain. He had come this far, it would be a loss if he didn't get what he wanted. How he must get it.
