CHAPTER 45

When they arrived they were given their key cards, as it happens they were six suites waiting for them. Harvey and Ruby were sharing a suite, Owen and Lisa were sharing one and the rest were in their suites alone.
They were taken to their relatives’ suites and he watched as Ruby looked around the whole place. She too was mesmerized by the sheer beauty of the place. Because of the time differences, it was a bit late so dinner was going to be served in an hour.
He took that hour to prepare a hot bath for him and Ruby. They were both tired and needed a rest. After their bath, they changed into more comfortable clothes and went down to the restaurant where they all gathered for dinner.
They commented about the dishes as they ate their dinner. Since everyone was tired, they all decided to join tomorrow when everyone had rested so that they may start their vacation. Harvey escorted Ruby back to their suite.
The moment she walked in she began to strip her clothes and they all fell to the floor. He had to pick them up and put them nicely on the sofa and he joined her on the bed where she was now sleeping soundly.
He slept next to her and he kissed her lightly on her forehead before joining in on the sleep.
The next day Ruby woke up feeling very energetic, she had slept so well and when she woke up she had her hot bath and changed into something a bit short. It was very hot and she didn’t want to go around sweating because she wore something long.
She was tying her hair sitting at the dressing table when Harvey walked in from the bathroom. He looked very masculine and handsome. She just couldn’t have enough of him. She loved how those abs of his were so taught; it was a great thing that he works out all the time.
She really loved how those strong arms held her all the time. She just couldn’t believe that she was having these crazy thoughts so early in the morning. He walked up to her and he hugged her from behind.
“It’s not healthy to have such naughty thoughts in your head, my love,” he said and kissed her head.
“I wasn’t thinking of anything,” she lied and he smiled at her through the mirror.
“Then why is your face all red?” he asked her and she knew that she had been caught.
“You can’t blame me when you walk around wearing only that. Go and change into some clothes. I don’t want to be late for my breakfast,” she urged him.
“You know we could just stay in this room and make love the whole day,” he suggested and she laughed.
“If I don’t see you going to change in the next three seconds, I will end it with you,” she threatened him and he just disappeared straight away.
She smiled at how childish and romantic Harvey was. It was a good thing he had left or else she was going to be tempted to take up on his offer and just stay in bed and make love all day.
Ten minutes later, they were both ready to leave the suite. Harvey stopped her and he looked at her for a while.
“Is there something on my face?” she asked him.
“Yes, there is,” he replied.
“Can you help me remove it?” she asked him.
“I thought you will never ask,” he said and lowered his head towards hers. She knew what was coming and she closed her eyes as his lips made contact with hers.
Harvey kissed her slowly and very lightly at first before his kisses increased its pressure and became more passionate and a bit aggressive. She loved this side of him sometimes; he made her forget that at some point he used to rely on her.
She hooked her arms around his neck as he continued to kiss her, she moaned in his mouth as his hands cupped her buttocks. She could feel that she was in trouble but she didn’t care.
As things were going perfectly fine, her cell phone began to ring. She wanted to ignore it but it kept on ringing that when Harvey broke the kiss, he hissed under his breath and she laughed at that.
“We can always come back for this later, dear. It’s time we go and join the others,” she said.
“Okay, let’s go,” he agreed.
Ruby took her phone and answered it.
“We are almost there,” she lied and hung up.
Reluctantly the two of them left their suite for the elevator. They took the elevator to the restaurant floor where they met their friends already seated at one of the tables.
“It’s good for you to join us. For a moment, we thought you were ditching us,” Nancy said and they all started laughing.
“I thought of that for a moment but how can I ditch my favorite people?” Ruby said as she sat down.
“Stop teasing them and let’s eat. We have so many things we should do today,” Alex intervened.
“Fine, I will stop.”
The waitresses brought their menu and they took their time choosing their dishes. They began to talk about various things as they waited for their breakfast to be served.
