Gods Magic
She closed her eyes, not knowing what to expect, she waited for a while but all she could feel was the breeze that strode past her as he walked past the bed, she could tell that he was walking towards his closet cause unlike the setting of her room, his bed was in the middle of the large room.
'This is a chance' A voice whispered in her head, she knew deep down that it was no voice but herself.
She jolted out on the bed and toward the door, as she twisted the knobs, a familiar feeling hit her, she grabbed her head pushing herself backwards and landing on the ground.
The door was locked.
She wasn't thinking anymore, she couldn't.
"Were you planning on leaving me?" A cold and thick voice mocked, she did not care to turn on hearing the voice.
She screamed stunning Ian with the magnitude of her voice. The glasses around them started shattering as the waves of her voice reached them.
'So this is the strength of the Luna's Mark' Ian said within himself while Diane kept screaming, trinkets of tears dripping down her cheek, her eyes were shut tightly so she did not notice what her scream was doing, she didn't even notice that she was screaming, all she could see was flashes, flashes of that little girl banging on the doors and crying on a holiday.
Ian did not feel threatened, not until the metal doors started to crack.
He took slow steps towards her, little by little, he could feel something pushing him backwards like a force field, he took a few steps before he was jolted away by that field.
Diane could not acknowledge what she was doing, she had her eyes shut tightly.
Ian flew backwards and his head hit the hard walls, hard enough to cause a concussion for an ordinary person, but not enough to cause a concussion for him, he touched his head and his hand dissolved in a hot, thick liquid.
-blood-
He got up on his feet angry, his claws, fangs and canine had all grown out, his eyes had changed from its light mist green color to a darker shade of green as he walked towards her.
He hated blood being drawn out of him, he had always entered a beast mode whenever it happened.
'If I can't get through her force field, I'll cut through it' he thought as he walked towards her, his step was not slow this time and his hands moved before his feets paving way for him to walk through, he had gotten close to her when suddenly he could see the magic she emitted. A thicker field encircled her. She was using gods magic.
The Evergreen pack knew a lot about the Luna's mark since it originated from their pack, and they all knew that the Luna who bore the mark had access to the Moon goddess power that was why such a creature was not common, only five of such female wolves had ever existed. Diane was the Sixth.
Anytime the Luna's mark was triggered as they had been taught, it glowed, and for a short while, the bearer would be unstoppable, one with the gods, for that short while the bearer could be said to be using god's magic, never in Ian's life had he imagined that he would be faced with gods magic because Diane had seemed weak compared to the other Evergreen she wolves who bore the mark that he had heard of.
Ian did not care, he struck greatly at the Orb like field that surrounded her creating a dent in it, the dent grew to a crack which expanded nearly shattering it.
Her mark glowed with a moon like color, sending a wave of magic that reinforced the field, the glowing of the mark shook her subconsciousness and she stopped screaming, the orb started to dissolve slowly into water, she turned around to meet the sight of Ian looking like a savage beast with his claws pointed at her, she felt scared.
She screamed again, pushing him towards the other end of the room with a sudden force, the orb around her which had reinforced itself shattered like glass, spreading across the room. Her voice ceased and she fell unconscious.
The entire villa shook for a second as the power she had emitted passed through the walls.
Logan, Mr Henry and all those who had the strength to detect gods magic felt it. Logan rushed to the source he felt it came from -Ian's room.
He had a spare key which he used to jiggle the locks open, on entering the room he saw Diane on the ground looking pale, with slow breaths, and towards the other side his eyes met the sight of a beaten up yet awake Ian, with his fangs and claws all grown out and his eyes a darker shade.
Logan chuckled.
"Never in my life have I expected to see you like this" he said.
"Why don't you take a picture, keep it for remembrance sake" Ian deadpanned.
"What happened here?" He asked as his eyes met the sight of the broken windows and glasses, on the grounds were also glass like glacier ice shattered all over the place.
"Why don't you take a guess" Ian said.
"..A wild one" he chipped in.
The mark on Diane's neck glowed for a second before going off and the two men in the room caught a glimpse of it.
"Don't tell me" Logan said in shock.
"gods magic?" He asked and Ian nodded, trembling in pain.
"God I had always wanted to see that" Logan said as if he had missed a lot.
"Trust me you don't want to be faced with that" Ian said in an effort to stand up, he stumbled and fell unable to stand.
Logan rushed over to his side to offer him help.
"I heard that gods magic works with a trigger, do you know what the trigger is?"
"No.." Ian replied as they walked towards the bed, on getting there he sat him down slowly.
"I got out of the closet and she was on the ground right in front of the door pulling on her head" he said slowly as his voice started to diminish, he was becoming weak.
"..and almost as if she was in this trance she started screaming and then.."
"And then?" Logan asked with keen interest.
"And then all this happened Logan" He said, drawing his breath.
"Slowly.." Logan ushered him as he heaved out a heavy breath.
"We should get you help" he said.
"Tend to her first" he said pointing to Diane who was lying helplessly on the floor.
"I don't need the doctors" he said.
"Where should I take her?" Logan asked as he moved towards her, picking her up slowly, her body was extremely light and extremely hot.
"She's boiling" Logan said, confused and concerned.
"Get the maids to bathe her, as many as can bring down the fever" Ian ordered, unable to stand up.
"You seem very concerned about her" Logan smirked.
"There's no taking revenge on a dead person now is there?" Ian asked as he sank his body into the bed.
Logan turned to leave but stopped abruptly.
"Don't you think you should pull back your claws, fangs and canines back in?" Logan asked.
"I tried" Ian said in slow breaths
"I can't"
