Nothing added up, not to him at least.

By the time he had gone to visit Mrs Raez personally Diane had returned to her pack.

"Who is she?" Ian asked Mrs Raez after barging into her house, he had let himself think for a while but still couldn't come up with a conclusion, this was his last resort.

"Who do you speak of?" Mrs Raez wanted to play dumb.
"..my lord" she added as a sign of respect.

"The person you allowed into your house" he deadpanned.

"Oh she? She's my distant relative from another pack" Mrs Raez smiled as she replied the Alpha, she was distraught at heart but she did not let it show on the surface, for the sake of her niece who she had just met for the first time since her birth she couldn't.

"When you say another pack which pack do you mean" Ian questioned, he could notice her expression go sour.

It took a while of talking mostly threatening to get Mrs Raez talking.

His suspicion was proven correct, she was from the Red moon pack but that was not the only thing, she was the daughter of the Beta, the man he loathed, the man who plunged his claws into his fathers chest which resulted in his death after he had valiantly fought. The same man who gave orders to the troop during the war.

Ian felt all his emotion die within him once again as he walked out the doors of Mrs Raez house that day, he was back to his same old emotionless self again, but this time he sought after one thing -revenge.

The mating bond was slowly consuming him but that was the least of his concerns, he wanted to make the Red moon pack pay for waging war against his pack, he wanted to rain hellfire on them.

Two months passed and the day he seemed as perfect - the day of Luke's post wedding ceremony came, that day he set out to visit the Red moon pack with only Logan.

The air surrounding the Alpha's Residence suddenly felt eerie but Diane was not surprised, not in the very least, she knew who it was, she could tell what was coming -him, but why now? Why after three whole months?

A black Mercedes pulled up on the fort of Luke's residence keeping the guards on tension, with shaking hands and feet as Ian and Logan alighted the car.

Every wolf who was in attendance of the Alpha's celebration came out to meet the sight of their fallen guards at the feet of Logan with their blood on his hands, while Ian just rested on the car.

"What are you doing here?" Luke asked, his expression was foul as he stared at his guard on the floor.

Ian trailed his eye sight to the ground.

"Oh don't be so bothered about them" he faked a smile.

"They are not dead just in a critical state" he grinned.

"..right Logan?" He asked and Logan confirmed with a nod.

Luke felt angered by Ian's words.

"What are you doing in my pack?" Luke asked in a loud tone meanwhile Diane was in the residence garden and was being confronted by two female wolves.

"..do I even know you?" Diane asked angered.

"Do you have to? You know it must have been a waste to your parents protecting you for so long, you are nothing but an Alphaless Luna" one of them whose name was Naomi mocked.

"We never can tell her Alpha might be dead" Pen the second wolf chipped in.

Diane wished he was, she knew about her mate's identity from the minute they met, those platinum hair, his pair of green eyes, they belonged only to one family, the one family she dreaded.

"I wish" she muttered in low whispers.

"Get lost" she ordered but the two wolves laughed it off.

"Do you have the slightest idea what your little time of coming into existence has caused Rose?" Naomi asked.


"So all this is about.." She chuckled sadly.
"..Rosalyn" she completed her unfinished statement, it all made sense to her now, Rose foul behavior towards her on the day of her engagement.

"Yeah what did you think this is about? Your mate?" Naomi asked.

If only they knew the sacrifice she had made to ensure Luke got married to Rose

The loud noise coming from the main villa reached her, it sounded like the growls of an angry wolf, for a second she had forgotten the presence of the one she dreaded because of the the two wolf she had cornered her in the garden.

"Your pack defaulted in our deal first" Ian deadpanned while he and Ian faced of.

"I don't know what you mean, but it's not like I care" Luke said forcing his blade like claws out in his bid to fight Ian.

Logan wanted to step in but Ian stopped him.

"Now Logan you do not want to disrespect the pack by beating up the Alpha now do you?" He mocked.

Yes, Logan was strong, even stronger than some Alpha's but then Luke was not a weakling who couldn't face against a Beta.

"You may come at me if you wish" Like said angrily to Logan who simply scoffed.

"Get out of my pack now" Luke growled, it was the only thing he could do, trying to claim the head of this man could prove to be a deadly mistake on their path, one he was not willing to make.

"Or else?" Ian laughed, he wanted to spite Luke to the depth of his bones, seeing him helpless gave him a feeling of achievement.

"You'll claim my head?" He asked again laughing, the people around were deeply enraged, angered, but they were also scared to their marrows, no one would willingly go against a Luther, the pack must had been stupid to in the first place.

"I am here to claim the head that trespassed my lands" Ian joked.

"But then since I am in your pack, shall we then say we are even?" He laughed.

Luke was on the verge of attacking him.

"Since we are even why don't you get the hell out of my pack" Luke growled.

"Easy there now" Ian smiled.

"You shouldn't treat you in-law pack like that now should you?"
