Alpha Supreme

Luke and his emissary had finally reached the Full Moon Pack after journey for about three days, and were shown to the rooms they would occupy for the length of their journey, he being the Alpha was given a room separate from others.


"Alpha Luke" A stern voice called out to him after had settled down a bit. He turned to face the direction the voice was coming from to see Alpha Diego, the Alpha of the Full Moon pack.

"Ay, I thought I would never get to see you again, last time we met how old were you, I think seventeen" he tilted his head to form a thinking stance.

"Yes sir, you have a great memory, it's been eight years since we met" he smiled.

"Why did you come, you should have sent for me" Luke shunned slightly.

"I might look old but I still am very capable of walking" he smiled.

"Forgive me for not being present in your wedding" the old Alpha smiled.

"I heard it was quite the event" he said.

"That is no problem sir" he said, he did not want to indulge further into the details of his wedding.

"Tell me all about it, such that I would feel like I was present" he grinned wildly while Luke's expression turned sour.

"Sir if we could discuss first the issue at hand" Luke stated.

"Why? Are you in a rush to run back home to your wife?" He asked and Luke made an emotionless laugh.

"No, well the wedding was quite extravagant.." he started explaining in defeat, he knew that he would spend a lot of time in the pack if they had to discuss war plans but never had he thought that he would have to explain the wedding he so dreaded in detail.

"Wow, that was amazing" The old Alpha smiled after Luke had taken a few hours to explain his wedding ceremony.

"Yes it is, now if we could discuss the basis of our alliance"

"Why are you in such a rush to speak of war" the old Alpha smiled, Luke felt taken aback, he had made no mention of an impending war even though it was his obvious intention he had no idea the old Alpha would grasp on to it quickly, nonetheless, he had no intention of shying away from any question the Alpha could throw at him, concerning his intentions.

"Well, my pack is now without their Alpha, the quicker we are to discussing this things, the quicker I can get back to them" he replied.

"Are you sure this is not about your Wife?" He asked jokingly.
Luke smiled instead of replying.

"All right I'll spare you the trouble, your father has a great relationship with us, so we would have no issue forming an alliance with you, but if the person you plan on going against is Ian Luther, you will need more than just an alliance with the Full Moon pack" he smiled.

"You might even need an alliance with all the packs in New Orleans" he said.

"Isn't that farfetched?" Luke asked, it felt to him as though Ian was being placed higher than he was.

"When you plan to overthrow the Wolf King, you plan with nations"

"He is not the Wolf King yet" Luke deadpanned.

"In the past the wolf who had the bearer of the Mark as a Luna became the Wolf King, and it was always from the Evergreen pack, but since such wolf was not born after the fifth of it's kind, it became determined by strength, his strength will make him Wolf King" The old Alpha said.

"I wish to become Wolf King" Like said. He was glad the old man had no knowledge of Diane, if he did, Luke could ask well forget his chances of making allies with packs.

"Is that your purpose in this war?" The Old Alpha asked and Luke nodded in agreement.

"If you can get this question right, I will lend you my power in this war, as well as the power of my allies" the old man said.

"Why should we let you become the Alpha Supreme?" He asked, Luke felt a bit puzzled by the question.

"Whose more fit to be Alpha Supreme? Myself or that unstable wolf?" Luke asked

"In what shoe are you in to consider Alpha Ian as an unstable wolf when you are the one with the obvious war intentions?" Alpha Diego asked as he watched Ian expression sour up.

"I guess you are in none" he deadpanned.

"Ian walked into my pack on the day of my post wedding ritual ceremony, beat up all my guards making me look like an incompetent Alpha, threatens a member of my pack into marrying him, disrespecting my pack, and I am in no shoe to call him unstable enough to be the Wolf King? He trampled on the respect of a fellow Alpha!! I am not as weak as my father, and I need your help Alpha Diego" he spoke getting agitated at intervals.

Alpha Diego kept quiet for a while, staring at Luke who was taking his time to gather his breath, he chuckled drawing Luke attention to himself.

"So this is mainly about a trampled pride" he smiled.

'It's more than just trampled pride' Luke thought to himself but withheld his lips from speaking.

Alpha Diego was not a good Alpha and secretly held grudges against the Evergreen pack because of its proud Alpha, and envied the pack because of its success. He had once offered an alliance to Ian's father but he was rejected, when he asked why Ian's Father -Julius Luther simply replied ' I don't go into Alliances with brutal packs especially when I don't need their strength' he had hated Julius even more back then.

"Alpha Luke take rest for tonight" The old Alpha said.

"Do you not consider me worthy of being Alpha Supreme?" He asked.

"Take rest young Alpha, other Alpha's will be here soon and we can finally discuss our plans to conquer Evergreen"
