Into your room.
Diane held on to her slowly rhythmed breath, gripping herself for what would come next but it was the depth of nothingness.
Her hand raised up slowly losed it grip on the knife she was holding, letting it fall to the ground.
She could feel her body give way and she fell slowly as Ian slided down with her before he let go and stood up.
He turned his cold back towards her and walked out of the room while she watched his claws go back in and hopefully his eyes changed their colors.
She breathed out slowly, tilting her head to see the endless drops of her own blood.
"Where are you?" She asked weakly.
"Call a doctor" Ian said coldly to Yvette who was standing outside, she looked at him noticing the blood on his cloth.
"You are injured" she said.
"Not my blood" he said coldly walking away.
Yvette heart sank to the bottom as she raced to Diane, she saw Diane in a horrifying manner, resting her back on the black walls and her hand dripping out blood, the room was covered in droplets of blood but what was even more horrifying was the contented smile she wore on her face.
"I grow scared of you My lady" Yvette said walking towards her to help her to the bed.
"You are weak yet you are injured greatly and now you are laughing, what triggers it?" She asked scared for Diane.
"I didn't lose to him this time, this time he is the one hurting" she said smiling
"You look pretty defeated though" she said relieved to see her doing somewhat fine while Diane chuckled.
"I have never found my mate but from what I heard mates are supposed to be helplessly attracted to each other, you draw contentment in seeing him hurt, which opposes everything I thought I knew" she said.
"We are helplessly bonded, hopelessly attracted to seeing each other in pain" she said.
'This is the brutal fate the moon Goddess gave us' she thought, still laughing but this time sadder. Yvette stared at her like a horror figure spring out blood.
"We need to get you a doctor" Yvette said and Diane rejected.
"No need just help me clean the wounds and bandage it" she said.
"But I am not a physician" Yvette replied but Diane nagged her into doing her will.
...
"Umm.. I found something in the room as I was cleaning up yesterday" Yvette said as she dried out the blood on the floor, she had finished tending to Diane's wound and Diane was now recuperating on the bed.
Yvette handed Diane a journal and watched her spring up from the bed.
"How did you get this?" She asked holding on to the journal like a priced possession.
"I was cleaning and.." Yvette explained but Diane had stopped listening.
'Luke must have brought it here' she thought.
She flipped open the pages of the journal, it was a book she had kept since she was five, given a limited life with no one to talk to the only thing she took comfort in was her journal.
The scattered and bogus handwritings were the first thing that greeted her once she opened the book, she laughed heartily.
'Mama grifted u to mi todey, she says u wee be my fwiend' she read out her senseless writing in her head laughing.
Yvette stared at her happily.
"This book must really hold memories for you" she said and Diane replied nodding.
"Mom gifted this to me when I turned five because I stayed indoor and had not a single friend except Luke of course, before I met Luke I wrote in this big Journal everyday, thanks to it I learnt to write, I don't have so many memories but this book contains the little have, come over here see something" she ushered Yvette to the bed, giving her a seat on the bed before showing her a part of the journal, they both laughed as they read through, giving Diane a different feeling, one she had never felt, a pure feeling of happiness.
She turned to face Yvette.
"As much as I hate this hell, I am lucky to have met a friend"she said.
"I wouldn't dare to put myself in that position in your life"
"And why is that?" She asked.
"I am lowly, when you are acknowledged you will make friends with the likes of Lunas and Gammas, Betas mate" Yvette said.
"If I do not die before I am finally acknowledged as the Alpha's mate"
'Or if he doesn't' she sneered evily in her thought.
"If I am ever acknowledged as the Luna of this pack, I will set you at the top, my promise to you for saving my life" Diane promised.
"I do not serve you because of that" Yvette replied and Diane smiled, she too bad grown fond of Yvette over the span of time she had lived in the pack.
"Consider it gratification then" she smiled.
"All right then, rise up to the top and then keep your promise to me" she said and Diane nodded.
"The security has been doubled is there any other you want?" Logan asked and absent minded Ian.
"Deploy securities to Diane room, I need to know everything that goes on in that room" Ian said and Logan sneered.
"I don't think that is the best" Logan replied.
"She is an unidentified woman living in the Alpha's house and then she has guards deployed to her room, the first bad thing that could happen is a likely case of assault, she is a beautiful woman after all"
'The most beautiful' Ian wolf chipped in Ian head, it seemed to had recovered but it now whimpers when sword is throw at it.
"And the rest is food for thought" Logan said.
"Then how do I find out everything that goes on with her?" He asked.
Logan thought for a while before he said.
"Bring her into your room"
