The Full Moon Pack

Mrs Lee was not the only person reminiscing the events that had happened in the past, Luke was also deep in his memories as his mind strides back to that day, his heart clenched as he remembered carrying the dead body of his father, his survival from the war left him with a great feeling of incompetence and to him as much as his battle with Ian was a battle of love, it was also a battle of Ego.

He set out for his villa after leaving Mrs Lee premises, his movement slowly stiffened as he walked.

"Alpha.." Ocean addressed him.

"Are you alright?" He asked.
"You just stormed off" he continued.

Luke was not in the mood to exchange conversations with anyone.

"We set out for the Full Moon pack tomorrow" he announced to Ocean, proving his choice to further his war plans.

"And after our alliance with the pack, all their allies will be ours" he said further.

Ocean was against the entire plan of war but Luke was his Alpha and he had sworn his undying loyalty to him, he was willing to follow him to the end of the earth if Luke needed him to.

"Then you should get rest, the journey they say is a long one" Ocean adviced.

"Prepare the guesthouse for me" he ordered.

"Are we having visitors?" Ocean asked.

"No" he replied sternly walking away from Ocean, he was trying to avoid Rose and everything that could bring them both in contact.

"And please keep to silence if you are asked of my whereabouts today, I wish to be alone" he instructed walking towards the guesthouse.

"..!?"

"The Alpha is out on a journey to the Full Moon Pack" Her headmaid repeated noticing Rose state of shock, she bow her head so she couldn't meet the deadly eyestare Rose was giving off.

"Why am I just finding out?" She questioned, she has woken up feeling a bit better and had decided to seek out Luke only to find out that he had embarked on a journey without acknowledging her as someone who deserved to know his whereabouts, but what did she expect, he didn't even acknowledge her as someone he could give his heart.

"I'm sorry" The headmaid replied, Rose felt bitter.

"What is he doing in the Full Moon Pack?" She asked.

"I am not sure" the head maid replied.

"Do you have any idea how long he would stay?" She asked like a hopeless romantic.

"The journey to the pack is a two-days journey so.." She was trying to calculate.

"He might be using about a week or two" Rose said.

"Don't worry I'm sure he would speed up things so he can return to you" A totally abstract voice chipped in.
Rose looked up to meet eyes with the oldest Mrs Rowley, Luke's grandmother.

"Grandma" she called out dismissing her maid.

"When did you get here?" She asked smiling as she stood to hug the only surviving member of her husband's family.

"If you spend your time thinking too much about him when will you explore the different possibilty life can give you?" Grandma asked while Rose laughed, her mind was slowly trailing off.

"I wouldn't have been bothered, if he could show very little of the he gives to Diane to me" her face squeezed at the mention of Diane's name.

"She was his first love, it wouldn't be that easy for him, forgetting about her" Grandma said.

Rose laughed a bit, trying to disguise the pain she felt.

"You said he would speed up things to get back to me?" She asked and Grandma nodded.

"Why do I feel like he would run away from the pack if he saw the slightest opportunity to, Grandma, I think I won't be able to survive all this anymore, I don't exist in his world, we have this crazy argument so crazy I've stopped seeing the light of a good future" she said.

"Should I just kill myself?" She asked saddened.

"Ah" Grandma hitted her lightly on her back.

"Don't say this kind of things" she added as Rose whimpered while crying, she buried her face in her palms as she cried.
"Then what should I say? Hunh Grandma" she asked.

"He wouldn't even spend the nights in my room speak less of telling me his whereabouts, deep down I am sure his venture to the Full Moon pack has to do with Diane" she said amist her tears.

"You know, Rosalyn, I was sad when I heard that my child was feeling lost because he found out that the Woman he was made to love was not his mate, my heart shook the day that warrior cried in my arms, I was scared until I met you, like a consolation to my grieving heart, you were not a mistake child, you are a gift, some people just realized things late it does not mean that you give up child" Mrs Rowley stated, Rose wet eyes glimmered as she listened to her grand mother-in-law, hope, expectations filling and gushing out of the sockets.

"If people refuse to notice you does that mean you should venture into the shadows and hide yourself?" She asked and Rose shakes her head 'no'

"You keep on trying, knowing that one day they will notice what they are losing, has the Moon Goddess ever made a mistake choosing a mate?" She asked and Rose shakes her head again.

"Regardless of what anyone might say only you bear the title of Luna, this is a kingdom and you're the queen" she smiled stroking Rose chin gently.

"So wipe those tears, they make the queen look ugly" she deadpanned while they both laughed.

"By the way what brings you over mother" Rose asked.

"Why? Are you not happy to see me?" Grandma asked and Rosalyn chuckled.

"Of course I'm happy to see you, what will do if you aren't here?" She asked.

"Well in her to see my Grand son and daughter-in-law, I haven't seen you both since the wedding" she replied and Rose hugged her.

"Well am I not glad to see you" Rose said and they both laughed.

The two women chatted heartily afterwards.
