Chapter 32
Meanwhile in Tyler's room, with Jessica's support, Tyler felt a little bit comfortable as he lay on his bed. Tyler appreciated how time flew and being a werewolf because if he was a mare human he wouldn't be close to where he is now.
As the doctor had said to him. "You are a lucky man, Mr. Tyler because as a human, I see no how you are going to heal from these broken bones in two to three years," but there he was feeling like he was strong enough to survive on his own, thanks to his supportive mate who has been with him throughout the entire journey.
"Thank you very much, Jessica," Tyler said with his back against his bed.
"It's nothing love, I am certain you would have done the same if the tables were turned, " she leaned closer and kissed his forehead.
"Come lay with me... please..." he begged.
"I have work tomorrow," Jessica said as she placed both her phone and her bag on the side table next to the bed and looked at Logan.
"I know, baby. Just come and lay with me until I feel safe." Jessica smiled and jumped on the bed.
"You know I am not staying over because I am not in for that morning rush of going home to get ready for..."
"Sshhhh," Tyler placed his finger on her lips. "Just lay with me," he said in his husky voice. Jessica obliger and lay with him.
They were already fast asleep when Logan stomped into their room. They wouldn't have noticed if not for the fact that Tyler still had issues sleeping because of the incident while Jessica was a light sleeper, as soon as Logan walked in, both their eyes came awake.
"Oops sorry!" Logan turned back to walk out of the room.
"Hold up," Tyler called out.
"You need the rest, we will discuss properly during the daytime."
"I find it difficult to sleep, so you are not intruding."
"I can't sleep if he is not sleeping." Jessica chipped in.
"So you were both awake now huh?" Logan shook his head slowly whilst he chuckled.
"That's obvious, I guess," Jessica said.
Logan walked and sat down on a chair in the room, he released a large sigh before sitting down.
"What is it that troubles my, dear friend?" Tyler asked.
"I have a long list, care to hear them?"
"Fill me in, man" With Jessica's assistance, Tyler was able to sit upright.
"Ashley, I still have nightmares about the day of the incident, The bloody moon festival is approaching and I think its high time Ashley meets the whole family and not to mention the fact that there is a little decline in business, and how will I cope if the vampires choose to fight back because of what happened with Eric the giant? And the long list keeps on extending." Logan sighed as soon as he stopped talking.
"Oh wow," Jessica chipped in. Tyler looked at her and they all burst out in laughter.
"Thanks for your support" Logan uttered in a sarcastic tone.
"Wait, Logan, we were not laughing at your situation. I wish you could look at your expression as soon as you stopped speaking. You looked like a baby."
"In this current situation, I wish I am a baby," Logan smiled.
"How can I get through this with your friend?" Logan directed his gaze towards Jessica.
"She is in a terrible situation right now. She is messed up upstairs and besides, she still gets nightmares from the incident too."
"We all have nightmares from the day of the incident." Tyler chipped in.
"We all need therapy then," Logan said.
"Hell no, I won't meet some shrink-mongering low life to complain about the things troubling me," Tyler spoke defensively.
"And you were in the hospital relying on a low life to safe your own life."
"Word!" Logan raised his hand to commend Jessica.
"Ouch!" Tyler held his heart.
"Babe, you need this therapy. This situation is terrible. I am a light sleeper and I wake up many times at the night to find my eyes wide awake, scared to go back to sleep. I believe it's high time you visit a therapist."
"And what if the therapy doesn't work?"
"What if it does?" Both Logan and Tyler asked in unison.
"Babe, we can go together. I promise to hold your hands all through the process."
"I know you will." Tyler leaned close to her and kissed her on her lips.
"Should I excuse you both?" Logan asked then rolled his eyes.
"No, because you will also need therapy," Jesica threw a stern look toward Logan.
"Wait! What?"
"You heard me right Logan, I am tired of seeing you and my best friend grow apart from each other, see I am fed up with the way our lives are tilting toward a terrible direction and I think it's time we all fix that together as the family that we are," Jessica paused for a while and continued. "I have a friend who is a therapist, I will call her first thing tomorrow and book a meeting for all of us."
"There is no opportunity for us to sleep on it and come up with a decision if we want to attend or not?" Logan asked.
"That is why I am calling her tomorrow morning."
"How many hours?" Tyler asked as he looked at the wall clock that sat perfectly on the maroon-colored wall.
"I am not allowing you to sleep on it, love," she leaned closer and kissed Tyler again.
"What about me?" Logan asked.
"You want a kiss also?" She asked with her eyebrows raised.
"Hell no!"
"I thought your answer would be a yes, I would have gone to start digging your grave for I am certain that my best friend is killing you." Tyler threatened him.
"I dare not go down that road. But you know what I was talking about. Besides is Ashley going?" Logan asked.
"She has to."
"Okay. I reserve my comment."
"Say your mind or forever hold your peace."
"I will rather hold my peace." Jessica stretched towards the side table where she had placed her phone earlier on and picked it up, scrolled through her call log, and dialed Ashley's number after a few rings.
"Hello..." Ashley answered in a sleepy voice.
"You are needed in Tyler's room. Eww, I don't want to watch you make love to Tyler."
"When was the last time your life was that fun? Get your ass here babe." Jessica disconnected the phone and threw it on the other side of the bed.
A few moments later, Ashley appeared in the room, dragging her feet. Every remnant of sleep that was left in her eyes ran away as soon as she saw Logan in the room.
"I thought you were alone," Ashley felt betrayed as she tried to walk out of the room.
"Hold up, Ashley" Jessica called out.
"What?" Ashley turned back furious.
"Every member of this house is starting therapy tomorrow."
"Ther... what?" Ashley could not hide her shock as she couldn't believe her ears.
"Therapy, baby girl."
"What if I don't want to go?"
"You don't have a choice. You just have to."
"Wow, I thought you were my friend," Ashley said as she looked toward Logan who was bluntly staring at her.
"10 AM tomorrow!" Jessica announced sternly.
