40. The Liquesce of Frozen Love

The exotic eyes turned down the mighty brave valour to strike with the lightning of love. The long-forgotten and suppressed hormone of love under his dragon scales started to sprout a leaflet of love.
The little arousal of love in his heart made by those exotic eyes nearly gave him an ache, like his heart was pierced by a sharp sword with direct penetration. Yet his heart longed for such an ache. He wanted to witness the ache once again that how those eyes could do such magic to him.
Dev was dreaming about the exotic eyes of an innocent girl from Frozen-Crescent and woke up suddenly from his dream and recalled his conversation with the girl in his dreams.
“What is this in here...? (Touched his heart) did anyone stab me here. The feel is different. It seemed to be real. I cannot figure out what the sudden race of blood to my heart is. I can feel my heartbeats rhythmically.
Why it is happening... Surely it is not happening just because of the feel of my victory from my previous battle with Raven Wizard, since I am aware of that victory-feel that I have won many battles. But this is something different...”
Dev found some long hair pinned to his shirt button and took it carefully to examine when it got onto his shirt. He recalled last night happenings and his dream conversations.
He smiled inside and thought,
“Shall I ask about this strange feeling Ivan? Oh no... He is stupid enough to talk such things to him. But I am left with no choice other than him...
Oh...yes... That’s right I must ask him. After knowing his level of stupidity, I can consider further…”
"Ivan! Ivan? Where the hell is you, man...come here"
Ivan did not wonder to hear his name being called out by Dev. He was used to that since his childhood. When-so-ever Dev got up from his sleep none other than the word that came out of his mouth is IVAN.
"Coming Dev..." Ivan replied who was rooming next to Dev.
Dev frowned to see the redness in Ivan’s face, “What happened to your face? Where did you hit”
Ivan touched his face and remembered the happenings in the Frozen-Crescent and replied, “That girl hit me”
Dev flared in anger, “What… Who… Who dares to hit my friend…?”
Ivan replied with a smirk on his face, “It’s the same girl whom you romanced yesterday”
Dev replied, “Tsk...Shut it, Ivan. Don't say that…I have no intentions... ”
Ivan poked him again and again, “Aw... Tell me Dev… Let me hear your reason for your actions”
Dev rolled his eyes to Ivan to distract him, but Ivan caught him red-handed and forced him, “Spit out man… Get some courage to reason your romance”
Dev replied, “Err... Ivan, stop repeating the word R.O.M.A.N.C.E to me. It is disgusting…”
Ivan replied, "Was it not disgusting when you had affair with her... Dev, I was with you, I know what happened. You were the first to kiss her, you didn't even allow her to resist... Now, can you explain your reasons for your action sequence?"
Ivan fixed his eyes at Dev and Dev finally agreed to let out his mind, “I never hold her arms; she could resist me if she wanted to…. Ivan… (With a pause) After the battle, I was captivated by exotic eyes. It haunts me in my dreams too. I thought wine would help. It turned out to be worse than I thought. Those eyes haunted me like phantoms and I…”
Ivan continued to finish the sentence, “… so you thought you were in your dreams and performed your love affairs with the girl who passed you…?”
Dev nodded and lowered his head to hide his smile, “Do you think I am a pervert to perform such things with the unknown girl whoever passes me…?”
Dev continued, “When I was about to heal her, my eyes caught her beautiful eyes. I felt something different to look into her eyes. Who knows it will haunt me both in my dreams and real life.”
Ivan asked, “What have you done to her?”
Dev replied, “Nothing… I just jinxed her to drop her memory of my methodology of healing her. Ivan, why do you ask?
Ivan replied to Dev, “Dev!!! You overdosed on her. She lost all her memories.”
Dev stated, “What... I have jinxed… Ivan! You are to be blamed, Ivy… You asked me to do that since I denied it in the first”
Ivan shouted at him, “Dev… I asked you to heal her who was struggling for her life. Look… What you have done? Who ask you to use your jinx? Why did you use your wizard power on her? I ask you to use your dragon power… You… You even used your wings to cover you both…”
As Ivan was shouting like anything, Dev turned his face to see the arrival of Nora towards him. Dev asked Ivan to shut his mouth, but Ivan turned his deaf ears to him and continued to yell. Dev slapped at his face to get hold of him, Ivan was seized for a moment and Nora was shocked to witness the both.
Nora asked, “Are you fighting or playing…”
Nora saw the redness of her brother’s face and asked about it, Dev hurried his way by pulling Ivan, “Someone hit him. We are leaving to get justice for him. Catch you later, Nora…”
Nora puzzled, “But Dev, I need to ask you something”
Dev replied with haste, “We will talk when I am back…”
Ivan replied in Dev's ears, “I have witnessed your bravery in many battles, but it was a different and rare feel to witness your romance which was indeed unexpected… Why did your wings emerge all of a sudden?”
Dev asked Ivan to shut and Ivan asked, “Where are we going in the very morning? I am still sleeping”
Dev answered Ivan with a grin on his face, “To get justice… for you”
Ivan in turn replied in a cunning tone, “No… for her. Dev! You want to see her again. Then, why did you take me as a reason? It is your kingdom; you are free to go anywhere. Why bother me?”
Dev told Ivan in a sly tone, “Not without you” and he got an idea, called out one of the guards and whispered something in his ears. After hearing the news from Dev, the guard went happily.
Ivan asked, "Why that man is so happy, Dev? Did you share him about your affairs...?"
Dev gave his weakest punch on the stomach of Ivan, "One more word about that... I will pull your tongue out and scorch it with my flames..."
Ivan gave him a reply by rubbing his stomach, "Dev, only I can adore your love affairs… Unless me, no one will celebrate that in our kingdom rather they will curse you..."
By the time, they had reached the topmost corner of their castle to take their flight.
Dev asked Ivan, "Am I fallen for her...?"
Ivan replied to his loved fallen friend, “Of course, what do you think?”
Dev responded to him, “I don’t know. I too wanted to ask you the same… But, she reflects in my dreams too”
Ivan asked Dev, “What happened in your dreams? Nowadays you are struggling in your dreams, Dev”
Dev replied with a smile, “Continuation of reality…”
Ivan continued, "Can you remember Nora...? Did she ever reflect in your dreams?"
Dev replied with a sudden change in his facial expressions, "Ivan, she is your sister. Why her"
Ivan answered him with a true tone, "So what, she is a girl as well... Tell me how can you feel about her?"
Dev yelled at him, "Damn you, Ivan. How will you talk about your sister like that? Your sister is my sister as well..."
Ivan asked his friend’s true intention about his sister, "It's fine... But, Dev! Forget the fact that Nora is my sister and tell me what exactly you feel for her..."
Dev replied, "Nora is fearless, valiant, dare to battle with any, she is indeed a wonderful woman and a good companion in the battlefield"
Ivan asked him, "Now I want you to evoke the image of the girl from Frozen- Crescent..."
Soon after Dev had the memory of the girl from the Frozen - Crescent, his face illuminated and his icy-blue eyes sparkled in love which gave the way for the emergence of his wings and started their flight to the Frozen - Crescent.
Dev replied, "Her... She is... She is beautifully sculpted with exotic eyes. She is soft as a feather, tender like a flower and she is wild like weeds in the forest..."
Ivan interrupted, "Dev... I wonder you even take a minute to look at nature... But Dev, how can she live with a witch and werewolves since she is a human..."
Dev replied, "Yeah, I wronged her as witch… Let's find out..."
