90. Not us, it’s just me

"All this time, you Thought?" Karen ragged over Nora and Zohan came in middle to stop his lord from doing any damage to Nora.
Karen clutched her left arm in his tight hold and asked her, "Have you forgotten how much it gave you pain?"
"Forgive me." Nora screamed in pain and was scared of his fiery tone and lowered her head, "I follow your rules."
"Tell me what happened exactly," Karen commanded Nora, and he continued, "I won’t allow any firm chance to fail in rescuing my Axe."
D'Rona returned to Magma Chamber to inform them that everything had gone as planned, but he was exhausted to see Nora with him.She leaped over Nora in her werewolf form.
Nora was shocked and turned into a night fury dragon to defend D'Rona’s attack. The warrior werewolves soon transformed into howling in unison to encourage D'Rona.
Karen, who had been holding his transformation for a long time, suddenly transformed into a mighty mega-sized wolf. Zohan was terrified to witness the transformation of Karen that he hadn’t witnessed in his living day lights.
Karen roared to stop the fight between D'Rona and Nora, and they were both silenced after witnessing his wrath. Nora, like every other werewolf in the Magma Chamber, reverted to mortal form.
But Karen couldn’t control his wrath since his mind was tricking him with visions of Akshara and Dev’s intimacy. Zohan hurried to control his lord’s wrath and picked up the locket from the ground.
Every werewolf knew that if they ever came in front of Karen, he would kill them for sure. But Zohan risked his life and only dared to show his presence in front of Karen.
Zohan showed the locket to Karen, who was growling in wrath. When Karen’s amber eyes met with the locket, he slowly calmed down and tried all means to return to his wolf form later in mortal form.
Karen’s nakedness was soon covered by Zohan, while Karen’s eyes were still fixed on the locket. He extended his hand to get the locket and a tear drop escaped his eyes.
Forgetting everything, Nora asked D'Rona about the locket, "Is that really mean to him?"
"That’s royal heirloom, passed on to every prince, which is given only to their mates as a symbol of betrothed." D'Rona explained about the locket.
"You know more about that," Nora paused for a while, observed D'Rona and spoke, "Are you aiming for that heirloom?"
D'Rona looked at Nora with sharp eyes and Nora confirmed it, "Oh, since you are aiming for that, then why did you attend the bride selection for my crown prince, Dev?"
"I am on a mission," D'Rona told her, concealing everything, but Nora didn’t leave her hook, "Tell me what mission. I might help you."
"I don’t need your help, I can help myself." D'Rona told her sturdily.

In the Crystal forest
When she opened her eyes, Dev was getting prepared to leave, and Akshara pulled the blanket close to her chest to cover her nakedness since Dev ripped her clothes away during their make-out session in the beginner level.
"Are we going back?" Akshara asked him while wrapping her in a blanket.
Dev hurried to reply to her, "Nope, not us, it’s just me."
Akshara was shocked to hear the singularity in his words and her arch-shaped eyebrows knitted together, "Then, me?"
"Hey, I'm not abandoning you here," Dev said as he jumped from bed into her lap.
Dev tucked her wavy hair behind her ears and pinched her nose with his fore and middle fingers, "You brother, Ivan wants to talk to me."
"Where is he right now? Is he standing outside? Why don’t you call him inside?" Akshara suggested him.
"Huh," Dev hesitated to say and continued, "We can’t invite him inside since it’s only for us to make out." Dev winked at her seductively while his icy blue eyes pierced her through her blanket.
"You didn’t build this entire thing just for us to make out, did you?" Akshara asked with wide eyes while controlling his rummaging hands on her.
"Ivan is waiting in Frozen Crescent, and I hope you won’t welcome my idea of visiting Frozen Crescent." Dev told her and waited for her reaction, and she nodded positively immediately.
Dev continued, "And I will be back by midnight. Don’t venture outside and be safe." he instructed her with random criteria, "I left your sword over there; use it when you need it."
"Well," Akshara exhaled loudly, "Jinx me with some clothes, I feel..." Akshara stammered heavily when Dev approached her to kiss on her neck while his right hand jinxed to bring a ball of thread which looked exactly like a stone ball.
Akshara grabbed the ball of thread and asked him, "Devil, do I have to weave with this ball of thread to make me some cloths?"
Dev pulled his head from her neck and laughed out loudly. He patted her head with a beaming smile, "No, to save your time, this thread ball will bring you any dress you think of in your mind and change colours as you wish."
"Anything?" Akshara asked him with wide excited eyes while her brain was cracking crazy ideas with the little ball she held.
"Anything!" Dev answered her and pulled her to plant his kiss on her forehead.
"How about a flying carpet, a magical cloak and..." Akshara confirmed with him about to what extent this ball thread would work.
"Sara, you can bring anything you wish and call me if you need any help. You know how to do that." Dev said with a wink in his icy blue eyes.
"Why would I need help..." Akshara asked him while he was about to get up from the bed. She continued, "I have the sword to protect and I have the amulet in my neck that would heal me."
"I know my bride is exceptionally bright," Dev said as he kissed her lips and flapped his wings to fly to Frozen Crescent. While Akshara played with the ball of thread, thinking of a blue long gown.
It did wrap some blue long gowns around her. She ventured into the castle without noticing that Dev jinxed her legs and it would leave her footprints wherever she ventured in and out of the new shelter they built.
Akshara stopped by the large window and saw the moon washing the bay of beautiful Fairy Tears Rivers.

In Frozen Crescent,
Ivan Shirk, who was known for his non-alcoholic dragon in the Ayruzglow, was emptying his fifth jar of wine. When Dev entered the Frozen Crescent, Ivan was arguing with the barmaid to give him more of the wine.
"What are my eyes seeing?" Dev motioned his legs towards Ivan, who was not in his clear mind, "Ivan, what are you doing here?"
"Drinking! Can’t you see, Crown prince?" Ivan spoke like he had numbness in his tongue.
Dev quickly grabbed the bottle and smashed it against the walls of Frozen Crescent. Ivan was so enraged by Dev's egoistic behaviour that he confronted him by clutching Dev's collar and saying, "Dev, this world does not revolve around only you. I too exist in it."
"Hmm, I can see that." Dev said, while noticing his every different behaviour, "Ivan, you have zero tolerance for the wines of Frozen Crescent. Come with me."
"You are always the centre of attraction and a source of living intimidation to every female in this world." Ivan stated it more as a compliment to Dev’s charm.
Dev quickly grabbed Ivan, who was about to lose his gravity over the floor while confronting Dev, and Dev said, after looking around the ice cave bar, "Now you are centering the attention of everyone, Ivan."
Ivan was instantly trying to lose all his holds on Dev, and Dev was annoyed by Ivan’s ignoring gestures, "Ivan, you are pushing me to meet my confines."
Dev opened his wings and dragged Ivan to the shores of the ocean. "Leave me!" Ivan shouted at his maximum and jumped from his hold.
"What’s wrong, Ivan?" Dev asked with the same ragged tone as Ivan.
"You are a living threat to every female in this world; you are a source of manipulation and evilness. You are a white wizard by birth, but to whom so ever you cast your eyes, the darkness follows them." Ivan blabbered and confronted Dev with random words.
Though Dev knew that Ivan was not in a clear mind, his words deeply penetrated into Dev’s mind and he accepted the same after some silence, "I agree that I ruined the beautiful life of my Sara by fetching her from her home land to my kingdom only to suffer."
Ivan pushed Dev with all the force that came to help Ivan, "That’s your problem. Your eyes don’t see any females other than Akshara."
"Who are you talking about?" Dev asked Ivan, who was wobbling with every step.
"I am talking about my other sister, Lenora." Ivan finally revealed his mysterious conversation to Dev, who was even more puzzled to hear the name.
"What...? Nora? Uh, (sighed), what’s about her?" Dev’s icy blue eyes sharpened on the lunatic Ivan.
"It’s not about her, it’s about you." Ivan said with a frown, holding his stomach and motioning to vomit.
"About me, what’s wrong with me?" Dev questioned him spontaneously, as if he didn’t want to be accused wrongly.
"You are the source of everything, for every bad happening to both of my sisters." Ivan confessed without knowledge.
Dev was irritated to the core that Ivan was cracking more puzzles; "Who’s having problems now, Nora or Sara?"
"Nora had grown fond of you..." Ivan faced down, and only his voice reached Dev’s ears. "... dating back to her childhood and continuing to this day. Her fondness becomes jealous over Akshara and it turned out to be evil flames. Those evil flames are now scorching Akshara every day in our absence." Ivan said, monotonously.
Silence prevailed for some time, and Dev took a deep sigh and came near to Ivan who was resting on the rock. "Nora is our sister, and we've both seen her grow up," he patted Ivan's shoulder. We knew that she is naughty and mischievous sometimes since she was a kid."
"Is that that simple, Dev?"
"Ivan, while you are viewing the crisis from a distance, I am sourcing the outline of the same in a civilised way."
"Dev, I apologise for Nora. I..."
"Ivan, neither you nor Nora have to apologise to me. It is just a misunderstanding that happened in a century."
"Century?"
"Has your nutshell brain forgotten how she lit up an island last century just to vent her anger over us?"
"I totally have forgotten that."
Dev chuckled, "You have forgotten how we covered for her doings?"
Ivan laughed and came to sense, "Dev, I am sorry for Akshara. It's Nora's fault once more for venturing into Ardna Chirig to find the witch coven, and she's invited our big trouble of ravens."
Both laughed, and Ivan asked him, "Where is my mortal sister, Akshara?"
The smile on Dev’s face faded out, and Ivan shared his sharp eyes, "What have you done to her?"
"Don’t blame me; she is doing everything without any magical powers in her." Dev explained their newly created venture spot in the Crystal Forest to Ivan.
