88. Shelter rebuild in Crystal Forest

When the purest form of love was exhibiting crystal clearly in the crystal forest and Dev heard a branches rustling sound which was inaudible to Akshara. Dev stopped his legs while conversing with Akshara. Karen quickly hid behind a tree to avoid spotting.
“Why did you stop?” Akshara asked him with a smile. “Planning for any surprises?”
She giggled and Dev replied her while his icy blue eyes scanned the crystal forest, “Looking for any signs of living that might surprise us.”
“Huh,” Akshara jumped from his hands and assured him. “Let me check.”
Dev chortled at her lame boldness. “Are you not scared of anything?”
Akshara shared her most fiery blazing sight and poked at his shoulder. “Hey, I won the sword against the general of Ayruzglow kingdom.”
Dev admired over her confident talk while pulling her closer and lifted her chin with his forefinger. “I wonder how my Sara grown in boldness in my absence.”
Akshara looked at him with her exotic eyes and her attitude overflow in her eyes, “I used to live with beasts than humans.”
“Hey!” Dev warned her not to call him beast. “You know the consequences, my eternal bliss.”
Akshara ran away from him still her eyes looked at the forest for any signs of creatures of darkness. Behind the tree, Karen thought to himself, “Of course, you used to live with beasts like werewolves, ravens, and now with dragons.”
Dev let out his wings to capture his runaway bride in the crystal woods and carried her in his arms. Akshara exhaled to his sudden actions. “Huh, I mention about the ferocious animal in the dungeon, not you, I’m sure.”
Akshara jumped from his embrace to witness the mesmerizing sight of the nature. She walked on the path where every leaf glittered and the pebbles reflected a random galaxy. She stopped by the naturally formed arch way by glittering trees’ branches.
“Devil, can you please acknowledge me about where you abducted me from your castle?” Akshara requested him in melancholy.
“This is Crystal Forest. And this is my favourite place in Ayruzglow, other than Frozen Crescent.”
“And it will be my favourite, too.” Akshara smiled at him with much excitement.
Dev jinxed the land after finding the perfect spot for their shelter. He threw the blue sparkles in the air to create some shelter for them, while Akshara demanded to him, “Let me drew the place with these blue sparkles.”
Akshara extended her hand and waved like drawing in air within the hold of Dev, since he never allowed her to walk or stand in her barefoot.
Within a minute or two, Akshara done with her drawing in air and the blue sparkles reflected the solid structure what Akshara had in her mind. The blue sparkles turned into a storm. When the storm disappears, it revealed the most intimidating thing.
Both Dev and Karen were awestruck after looking at the shelter she drew, which was a replica of witch palace in Ardna Chirig before it peels off its real mask.
“What have you done?” these words came out from both Dev and Karen. But Dev’s voice was audible to her. “Sara, this?”
Akshara quickly smiled at Dev and wrapped her arms around his neck. “I don’t know. I just have this in my mind.”
“Your mind?” It surprised Dev while Karen felt contented that she was getting her memories back and stepped out from the enormous tree.
“Isn’t it magnificent?” Akshara asked Dev and suddenly noticed a wolf behind a tree watching over them. She looked into its eyes and found them cute.
“Sara, what are you looking at?” Dev asked her while he found her a little distracted from wondering Crystal Forest.
“I’m looking at only one beast watching over me with cute little eyes.” Akshara mentioned a wolf behind an enormous tree, but Dev misunderstood Akshara mentioned him as a beast repeatedly.
Akshara tried to inch towards the wolf, sneaking her head right to left to find the hiding wolf and found its glowing amber eyes.
But Dev wrapped her inside his wings, not letting her to move any further. Akshara arched her eyebrows in wonder, Dev told her, and “It’s time to feast the beast.”
He took her inside the shelter and locked the door behind him while Akshara was giggling in his ears, “Devil, stop, let me go!”
“Go where Sara?” Dev made her to stand on the floor and jinxed her legs with blue flames surrounded and glued to her legs.
“What this?” Akshara questioned him.
“Walk!” Dev instructed her, and she took a step back and found an impression of her feet on the floor in blue.
“Whoa, Devil! Are you tracking me?”
“Go where ever you want and I will find you eventually.” Dev smirked and chased her while Akshara entered the chamber which she drew for them both to rest.
*****
After a few minutes of chasing, Akshara stood over the window to rest for a while. She looked at the beauty of Crystal Forest through the window. When she was admiring the nature’s beauty of Crystal’s formation, she found some movement beside a tree where she encountered a wolf.
Akshara tried to look keen and found a wolf almost of her height. “Why do I find some familiarity in this wolf? What’s the source?” Akshara was puzzling her brain to crack open the locked chamber of her brain.
“Eyes looks familiar,” Akshara's mind voiced, and she felt a sudden chillness on her neck.
“Where were you staying in my absence, Sara?” Dev asked her from behind, resting his chin on her shoulder.
The mirrors that were next to them portrayed their posture seductively; his favourite eternal bliss wine in half-sipped glasses waited for him to get empty.
Her body braced between her thin outfit, she stared out of the window into a night which had become only darkness with shining bright stars. Dev heard only the sounds of a breeze that came through the frame of the window waiting for Akshara to reply.
“A place far better than the castle,” Akshara replied monotonously while her fingers sliding over the frame of the window made of ice while her eyes still fixed on the wolf with amber eyes.
Dev knitted his brows, and his icy blue eyes widened to her reply. Yet he watched her doings over the window frame and tried to warn her, “Sara, be careful, the window might –“
Before Dev could complete his warnings, the sharp edge of the ice window scratched her soft finger to bleed. Dev was more tensed to shout, “-hurt you... Sara, you are bleeding-“
He grabbed her wounded fingers to blow over and sucked the leaking blood from her fingers. Akshara watched him in expressionless eyes, but Dev was deeply worried about her wounds. “Why do you always invite troubles and hurt yourself?”
“Devil, look at me.” Akshara asked him to look over her eyes. He did the same, and she continued, “This isn’t hurting. What hates me more was your absence.”
Dev’s heart was dived into the ocean of pleasure after her words and yet confided his joy to reply her, “I... I would never ever...”
Before Dev could confess to her, Akshara pulled him to enfold him in her arms like a leech. Dev was forgetting to breathe in her sudden action and she voiced to him while listening to his heartbeats, “Please don’t leave me ever. Your absence and my loneliness are killing me like it was peeling my skin off lively.”
Dev exhaled his breath and smiled by patting on her spines, “Sara, I won’t leave you alone or hurt you to suffer ever in the future. If-“
Dev paused when Akshara lift her head to face him while her hands were over his chest to feel his heartbeat since she lifted her head, “Devil, what ‘IF’?
Dev combed her messy hair and caged his hands around her waist. “If I did anything I shouldn’t have done, you understand I am off to some confidential task. Will you support me or confront me with your silence like you are doing now?”
Akshara lowered her eyes to his silver hair over his chest, and her fingers were unintentionally playing with it. She clutched the single strand of his hair and made a heart-shaped and showed it to him.
“You love to tangle my hair with knots?” Dev asked her while titling his head in a random direction to get the gist of what she made of his hair. “What’s that mean?”
“Oh stupid me, I forget the fact that you are beast who can do only magic,” She poked at her head with her palms. The word ‘beast’ provoked Dev’s ego to hit his brain, yet he listened to her curious explanation. “This is heart. This shape is called a heart.”
Akshara separated the heart shape and said, “This is a broken heart. (She tried random shapes and asked him) and this is...”
When Akshara was about to explain her craziness and Dev hurried to grab her neck, “This is... (He pecked on her lips) my punishment.”
“Punishment?” Akshara hold her breath instantly and exhaled to ask, “What did I do? Actually, you deserve punishment for making me to suffer...”
His flaming touch of chilling hands silenced the raged voice of Akshara, and she closed her eyes tightly to see that she was dreaming.
Akshara felt short breathed and inhaled her breath deeply that resulting in heavy heaving of her chest. She opened her exotic eyes to see Dev was so close to her ears.
