92. Poisonous Advice
"Karownoah Redclaws!" Karen told her his full name, which he never said to anyone.
"Why your friend doesn’t call you Noah? It sounds nice and hot to address you since you are killer in your appearance." Akshara suggested, and before he could answer, she continued, "If a man tends to change his name for his childhood friend, then she isn’t just your childhood friend. She must be your sweetheart."
Karen nodded and smiled at her. "Yes, she is."
"I knew it!" Akshara was overwhelmed with joy. By the time they both reached the newly built shelter of Akshara and Dev, Akshara invited Karen in, "I would like to invite you in, but the Devil said this place is made exclusively for us to make out?"
Karen’s temples bulged on hearing her lovey talk about the white dragon, "I’m fine here."
Akshara sneezed again. Karen stood helpless with a worried face, and she told him, "Huh, don’t worry, I will be alright. Devil will cure me."
Karen didn’t say anything and turned to walk into the woods. But Akshara stopped him to ask, "When shall we meet again?"
Karen wasn’t expecting her question and he was overjoyed like he wanted to transform himself into a wolf to howl, and yet he maintained his image, "Tomorrow at bay, same time."
Akshara smiled and extended her hand to give a shake; Karen shook her hand and didn’t want to leave her in the care of the white dragon, Dev. As a result, he decided to stand by the woods and only watch her to ensure her safety.
"I once failed to look after her. Not anymore." Karen told him to.
When Karen finished his confession, Dev flew over the Crystal Forest and landed at the entrance of their newly built home. He waved his hands and the land reflected with the imprints of Akshara.
Dev looked here and there to find the one who was watching over him. Karen hid him behind the tree, and Dev went inside the home.
When Dev's feet touched the threshold, Akshara dashed forward and jumped over him, squeezing him tightly. "Why do you take so much time?" Akshara confided in Dev about her loneliness.
With a loud bang on the door, Dev took her in his arms to take her inside their home. Akshara asked Ivan Shirk: "How is your friend?"
"He was drunk and it was hard to wake him." Dev exhaled and explained what happened in Frozen Crescent. Akshara was mesmerised by his charms and felt melted towards him.
"Where were you venturing, Sara?" Dev asked her, and Akshara came to consciousness and was ready to recite to him, "I took a bath at bay."
"I missed it," Dev mentioned.
Akshara sneezed and excused herself. Then she continued to speak, but Dev was very much concerned about her health and immediately pulled her to make her sit on his lap.
"Devil!" Akshara was shocked by his sudden act and hesitated to look at him through his eyes, "What are you doing?"
Dev smiled at her blushing and said, "Even after our make out, you haven’t stopped blushing whenever I come near you."
"Why did you make me sit on your lap?"
"I am a healer and I am going to heal you now." Dev brings her closer to him.
"Are you trying to make out with your smart excuses?"
"No, I’m healing your illness."
"Both are the same." Saying those Akshara ran away from him and Dev followed her around the new home made of crystals.
Akshara ran, shouting, over the open area around the corridor. Dev ran behind her. Her screaming drew the attention of not just Dev, but also Karen, who was standing in the woods looking for her.
Akshara stood by the railing and her eyes wandered randomly. Before her eyes sent a signal to her brain that she saw something looking over her from the woods, Dev pulled her waist closer to him and pinned her against the walls.
"Let me heal you, Sara," Dev asked in a husky tone in her ears, giving her chills that ran down her spine. Soon, Dev’s white feathered wings emerged and covered them fully, and so Karen was tense about their love exhibit in the corridor.
Karen’s strong fist broke the branch of the tree in which he had been hiding. He even punched the tree until his hand bled. He returned to the Magma Chamber and pondered his cruel plan.

Akshara and Dev were having a fun time in their garden in the Crystal Forest. Nora looked brighter than ever and approached them with a smile.
Nora interrupted them by adjusting her throat, Dev and Akshara saw her and Akshara smiled back at Nora.
"What brings you here?" Dev asked Nora.
Nora talked to Dev, "Dev…! Can you excuse us...? Would you mind if I take your bride for a walk?"
Akshara looked at Dev worriedly and said inaudibly, "Don’t leave me, Dev. Don’t agree with her."
Dev nodded and Nora hurried to take Akshara with her, "Don’t worry… I won’t take much of your time"
Akshara started to walk with Nora in her garden with fear inside and often she sneaked out to confirm the presence of Dev. Akshara was aware that as long as she was with Dev, she was safe.
Nora smiled at Akshara and said, "Forget the past grudges, Akshara. I am here to congratulate you for being chosen by crown prince"
Akshara replied with little hesitation, "Thank you, Nora… And I am sorry... back in the training field…"
Nora interrupted her, "I told you to forget the past. And back in the training field, you were awesome, Akshara. You know sword fighting very well. I wanted to meet your master and personally congratulate him."
Akshara replied, "Actually, I am self-taught by admiring Devil…"
Nora puzzled, "Devil… Who is that?"
Akshara replied, "Sorry… I mean to say, Crown Prince."
Nora beamed with a wide smile, "That’s why you had the luck to defeat me… It’s fine for our crown prince to marry an excellent sword fighter."
Akshara couldn’t judge the motives, Nora. Nora informed her, "Actually, you are going to meet the Queen, his mother... I am here to inform you of the rituals we follow in our kingdom."
Akshara asked her, "What ritual?"
Nora explained, "After the bride selection, the groom took his bride to meet his mother. While in the meeting, the bride has to impress the groom’s mother to accept the bride into their family."
Akshara wondered, "What can I do to impress the queen? As she is the queen, what can I ever do to impress her?"
Nora gave her piece of mind, "Think about talents in crafting, mastering in any field."
Akshara told her, "I can paint."
“Painting doesn’t help. Food is the only way to one’s heart.” Nora continued, "Cook her favourite food to impress her."
Akshara was very happy to hear from Nora and thanked her. In the evening time, Akshara was nowhere to be found in Crystal Forest.
Dev finally found Akshara and hurried to hug her from behind, “What are you doing?”
When he kissed her cheeks, she blushed and asked, "Why don’t you take me to the royal kitchen?"
"Why?" Dev asked her, but he in turn got a kiss back as a reply.
Without wasting a second, Dev took her in his arms and flew to Ayruzglow castle, and told in her ears, “What would I do when you request me in your most charming ways?”
“I have more cunning ways to charm you,” Akshara replied him.
“I must agree to the fact. Only you know to charm me, captivate me with your exotic eyes.” Dev smooches her in mid-air.
“Devil,”
“Hmm”
“How are you okay when I call you Devil?”
“Do you need to ask that?”
“Yes, I wanted to know.”
“I hope you named me after my flirting charming deeds with you back in frozen crescent.”
Akshara laughed but shook her head no, “You are devilish in bed, but it’s not the thing.”
Dev knitted his eyebrows and assured her, “You will find me more devilish once we mated.”
Akshara poked his chest and continued, “No, you won’t do anything to hurt me, I know that for sure. But the word Devil has your name in it.”
“Oh, dev-il.” Dev was astonished by her wits, “You indeed an intelligent human.”
By the time, they reached the Ice castle of Ayruzglow. Soon after they landed, Dev made her stand on the floor and quickly pulled her towards him, “Let’s make out first and then you carry out your mission.”
“No, No, Devil, no...” Akshara shouted audibly but Dev smirked to lift her on his shoulder, went into his room and slammed the door.
After a few hours, Dev found Akshara in the royal kitchen. Dev asked her, "What were you doing here…?"
Akshara looked dazzling in her look and had a bowl in her hand. Dev had arousal of his desire to kiss her. Akshara approached him by holding a bowl, Dev smooched her in the royal kitchen without worrying about the servants in that place.
Akshara pulled her head back while telling him, "We are being watched…"
Dev told her, "I don’t mind them; they can close their eyes if they want. What’s in your hand?"
Akshara replied while rotating her head in a full circle, "I have prepared the queen’s favourite food" and showed him the bowl.
“Why do you do that?” Dev asked about her neck turns, she replied, “It’s you. , I have neck sprains.”
“Why blame me?” Dev asked with serious eyes and looked for serious answers from her.
“Don’t look at me like that, every time you threw me in bed, you do it harder and do not give me a moment to relax or breathe,” Akshara complained about him.
“Then, learn to hold your breath when you are mating a white dragon of wizardkind,” Dev whispered in her ears.
Akshara threw a random puzzling question at him, “What if, I do it in a harder way, what will you do?”
“Most welcome, if you doing anything in a harder way, let’s make it even harder together.” Dev told her while he hurried to taste the food, "Sara… Let me taste it and confirm it before presenting it to my mother."
Akshara nodded and gave him a scoop to taste the food she prepared for the queen as per the instruction given by Nora.
Dev tasted it and gave her compliments, "It tastes awesome."
The mouth Dev drooled with blood and coughed heavily, "…Sara…" Akshara was terrified upon witnessing blood in his mouth, "… Sara… this food is poisoned… Don’t give this to mother…"
Dev collapsed in the arms of Akshara, “Devil, what’s happening to you?”
The royal guards rushed to help Dev and took him to his room. His room of Dev was heavily guarded, when Akshara pleaded with them to have a look at Dev, the guards refused, "Outsiders are not allowed" and pushed Akshara to the ground.
Ivan helped Akshara and consoled her, "Don’t worry, Axe… Dev is a real warrior and healer by nature. He will be fine."
Akshara rushed to her garden and rested her head on the bark of the tree. "I don’t know how the food turned poison"
