99. Revolt of love

Karen searched everywhere in his werewolf form inside the castle for Akshara. Nora informed him that Akshara was in the dungeon. Karen in his haste of looking at Akshara smashed everyone who ever appeared in front of him.
Karen rushed to find the way to the dungeon ferociously. He wandered in random directions to the way of the dungeon, like a lunatic beast.

Akshara was taken out of the dungeon by Dev after healing her. But, Akshara wanted more time to convince herself of his doings. "I can’t be convinced that easily with his smooches. Your actions broke me into pieces. Do you think I would forgive you after your flirting acts?"
Akshara confronted him, "I was touched when you saved my dignity in the Frozen Crescent. Back in there, everyone cursed me for seducing you; they even called me a witch to jinx you to fall for me with the help of my external beauty. (She smacked her lips) But you rushed to give me this amulet by shutting everyone’s mouth."
"But, no one realizes that you are the cunning wizard to make me fall for your charms," Akshara added. Dev replied, "I am the same who saved your dignity in the Frozen Crescent."
Akshara answered him, "No... a big no. You are not him. He smashed the people who ever hurt me, and he protected me under his wings and carried me in his arms."
Dev convinced her, "You still got me. My wings are always open for you." Dev opened his wings for her and extended his arms in a gesture to her, "Come into my arms."
Dev winked at her like he always did to win her after their little fight. Akshara once warned him about doing such things, "I am warning you, Devil, not to wink your cute seductive icy blue eyes at any girl other than me."
Akshara and Dev both recalled their sweet talk, and Akshara confronted him, "No, not this time and it won’t work. You pushed me away from you to let me die in vain of loving you." Akshara gave a hard time to Dev by not showing any sign of convincing and reconciling. "I regret falling for a beast like you."
Dev exhaled some distress, "You are disturbed mentally… After your anger goes out, you will regret not listening to my explanation."
Akshara turned her deaf ears to him and asked, "Can you remember what we talked about on the way from Frozen Crescent to your castle?"
Dev replied, "Yes, I do."
"You can’t and your brain is contaminated with royal luxuries." Akshara told him, "Let me recall it for you. You asked me to consider this amulet as a token of our engagement and a symbol of your love. But I told you that saving my dignity is enough for me. I don’t want the position of your bride."
Dev sorted out where Akshara’s conversation was heading and said to her, "Sara, why do you ever listen to me? Think about it. Why would I ever hurt my bride to death?"
"I don’t know about the beast’s ethics and rules," Akshara explained to him, "You... you were enjoying yourself when I was sentenced to death. I no longer love this kind of person. You can check this amulet if you don’t believe me. It will never glow ever again."
The amulet did not glow. Dev held her hand to place over his heart and asked, "Do you feel my heart beats? Does it even lie to you? Don’t you feel my love is greater than your hatred towards me?"
Akshara listened to his heartbeats and cried, "It’s aching here (she pointed to her heart) to accept your love. I need time to forgive you."
"You are giving me a hard time, Sara. What do I do to make you forgive me?" Dev lamented and advised her, "Always listen to your heart in choosing your paths and mind. It may trick you in many ways. "
When Dev was using all his charms to convince her to forgive him, Akshara was slowly starting to like his pleading act. Suddenly, a grandiose grey werewolf jumped before Akshara, making her scream.
Dev was shocked by the entry of a werewolf into the castle of Ayruzglow, and he acted immediately to save Akshara, who had been trembling.
Dev opened his mighty wings to shield her and held her tightly close to his heart. Akshara felt his arms rubbing and patting her spine to relax from the sudden trauma.
The giant wolf changed its form to mortal form and was taken aback for a moment to witness how he opened his wings to protect her. Getting mad at Dev's actions, he spoke loudly, "Axe! Come with me."
Karen’s voice reached Akshara’s ears and she processed it in her mind. She voiced, "Karen?"
Karen was shocked and happy to hear his name in her mouth. He was sure and exhaled his happiness, "You got your memories back?"
Akshara came out of the Dev’s shielding and moved towards Karen, "Karen…!"
Dev didn’t let go of his hold on her fingers. Karen looked at the tangled fingers of Dev and Akshara, and his temper rose immediately.
Consuming his temper, Karen looked into her eyes to make her convinced to go with him. "It doesn’t matter whether you got your memories back or not. Come with me, Axe, listen to me at least for once in your lifetime. Don’t be persistent like always."
Akshara stared at him without a blink of her eyes, "Karen, what do you think of me?" (She shrank her exotic eyes as she always does to stare at Karen.) "Am I nuts to forget this stranger werewolf friend?"
Akshara added more, "I remember you when you appeared from darkness back in Crystal forest?"
"When did this happen?" Dev tightened his hold on her hand, "Sara?"
Akshara turned to Dev while pulling her hand from his hand, "Also, I remember that you erased my memories and left me in the Frozen Crescent to employ my life as a barmaid."
Karen was happy to get his Axe back, while Dev was worried about losing hers. Karen told him, "Dragon, I will come for you for making my Axe suffer in bars as a barmaid and in your castle as a mistress."
Dev looked at Karen with a fierce look, "I may rip your wolf body apart for entering my castle and compelling my bride to go with you, and also for meeting her in Crystal Forest in my absence."
Karen straightened his backbone to confront Dev, "I am only asking her politely to come with me, not like you are abducting her and throwing her into multiple versions of hell."
Both Dev and Karen exhaled their anger fiercely, and Akshara sensed some minor war; she went into the middle of them. Akshara ordered Karen, "Karen, take me to Uncle Bruz."
Karen nodded with a wide smile and Dev denied her idea, "You are not seeing anyone."
Dev flared in anger, expressing the same. His eyes glowed blue to make Akshara understand his anger. Karen opened his claws ready to attack but Akshara stood unshaken by Dev’s angry face.
She said boldly, "Oh, this is your devilish face, isn’t it?"
Dev growled, "Sara, listen to me."
Karen turned into a werewolf with his claws open, he approached Akshara, "Axe, let’s go."
Dev grunted at Karen and Karen did the same, Akshara pushed Dev away from attacking Karen and told him with her sharp eyes, "Stop, Devil. You are turning into a real beast."
"Sara, stay with me." Dev pleaded with her for one last time.
"Where?" Akshara asked loudly, "Dungeon? Your chamber? Crystal Forest? Or Frozen Crescent, where will I stay?" she told him hardheartedly, "I wish you an infinity of desolation in double."
"Done that, been there." Dev held Akshara’s hand and called her again to make her stay with him, "Sara?"
Karen held Akshara’s hand and pulled her towards him, "Let’s go, Axe. You have a palace to live in."
Still, Akshara and Dev were sharing their eyes, muting their mouths, and Dev held her hand tightly. Karen was the only person who spoke in the dungeon other than Akshara’s pet birds, Sun and Shine.
Karen warned Dev, "Look dragon, I'm coming to rescue my Axe. If you want a fight, let’s take it out on the battlefield."
"Sara, you can’t go. You are mine, Sara, listen to me," When Dev was trying to explain, Karen came in middle to stop Dev, "Stay away from her."
Dev changed his look from Akshara to Karen and confessed, "So, you are the wolf boy as her pet birds mentioned."
Karen nodded, "I am."
Dev confronted Karen without losing his hold on Akshara’s hand, "Hear me wolf, Sara and I are bonded. I did some terrible things back then, and I accept my mistakes. But I didn’t mean to hurt her, I did everything to protect her, and I hope I deserve redemption."
Akshara fixed her eyes on Dev’s eyes, hearing every word spilt from his mouth, "She is angry with me over that; this is quite common in lovers. Her anger will soon vanish in no time. She needs me. She felt warm in my arms and her safe berth was in my wings. I won’t allow anything or anyone, not even stars, to cross my path of love with my Sara."
Karen looked at Dev with his piercing amber eyes and growled, "Axe had enough suffering by staying in this dungeon since you erased her memories. You crossed my path and abducted her from me. I am here to get revenge on you for taking her from me. This means war."
"She just needs time to heal, not you." Dev breathed blue flames in his nostrils and Karen’s amber eyes lit up to signal that he would take wolf form in no time to revenge Dev.
Akshara placed her hands on Dev and Karen and said, "Stop. Stop. Don’t fight over me. Stop it, Karen, don’t behave like a cracked animal."
Karen backed off his legs with grunted exhalations. And Akshara looked at Dev through his eyes and shook her head no. Dev’s icy blue eyes were filled with sad tears after deciphering the unspoken words in her exotic eyes. "Sara...?"
Akshara told Karen, still her eyes fixed on Dev, "Karen, let’s go."
Karen turned into the grey wolf and carried her on his back while Dev was broken into pieces by the departure of his Sara.
In Ardna Chirig,
The roar of delight overflowed the atmosphere with the reconciliation of the Black Witch and her wings. Igikran and his flocks were dancing and enjoying their victory over accomplishing the wings of their queen. The black witch flew to the sky and enjoyed the moment of being with her wings.
Azile rushed to the prison to check on her parents. Nuraz and Deniza were fine and filled with happiness to see their daughter again.
Deniza looked at the hands of her daughter and asked, "Are they your blood?"
Azile hugged her father and sobbed a lot, "Father... I committed a sin. I killed an innocent man…"
Deniza and Nuraz consoled her while Azile spoke, "The guilt is killing me. The man accepted his death and told me to save my parents by helping me."
Nuraz was silent for a while and informed his family, "Deny, Azile... Be ready. I got a mind link from Alpha. He is coming to rescue us."
