66. Dominant Ordnances

Dev calmed down his anger and felt sorry for being hard on her, "Oh. Your attitude of not confessing your love got on to my nerves." Dev rubbed her cheeks gently and asked again, "Does it still hurt?"
“Yes, (she frowned her face while rubbing her cheeks) you are surely a horrible devil,” Akshara cursed him until the pain in her cheeks vanish.
“Ho – horrible! That’s so rude to address me with a cruel word, Sara.”
Akshara arched her eyebrows in wonder, “Thanks for the word, indeed you are a cruel demon that enjoys torturing me,” she folded her hands under her chest and looked away from him with a stern face.
“I don’t know why I am getting amused rather annoyed by your words,” Dev told while analysing the changes happening within him. He wanted to know what Akshara have done to his cold heart that was frozen for centuries. So, he pulled her in his arms and asked, “What have you done to me?”
“What I did, everything you did. (She removed his hands from her arms) You crushed my cheeks and it's bleeding inside, thanks to my strong layered skin which conceals the bleeding within.”
“Let me heal you,” Dev again pulled her hands to convince her of her fake anger.
“How do you heal? Have any pain killers or serum or syrup, you have?” Akshara asked while her eyes scanned his waist and back for any medicine bag.
Dev nodded, “I have. But you have to let me heal you.”
“Tell me your healing method,” She showed her attitude.
The impatient Dev pulled her closer, grabbed her head and moved his head closure to hers. Akshara gulped down her throat and felt chilling electricity that passed from her toe to head. He turned her head to the right and examined her reddish cheeks.
“Hmm, the wound is deep, I can see the bleeding. (She rolled her to the corner to see what Dev’s motive and Dev too eyed her) I can suck it dry,” saying he sucked her cheeks with kisses to make them redder.
Akshara sucked all her boldness and surrendered in his embrace, he told in her ears, “I will never hurt you, I give my word."
Akshara blushed and tears rushed to downfall in her eyes. Dev removed her tears with his thumb. She smiled at him and rested her head on his muscular toned chest. Dev asked her, "Was the song about me?"
Akshara’s eyes were filled with happiness. She nodded her head without lifting her head. She couldn’t speak as tears blocked her mouth to speak. Dev gave her a warm and tight embrace.
She was drenched in his shower of love, which moisturized her eyes, but she had contended with him and so she showed fake anger toward him, "But I will hurt you. I will stab you. I will...”
Akshara passed for a moment and Dev listened to all ears. She hissed, “Huh, I don’t even know how to hurt you, but I will... for sure."
Dev understood all her mixed emotions towards him, "Sara, you can do whatever you want to do to me. You have all the rights and permission from everyone. Forgive me for hurting you. I promise you, I won’t even dream of hurting you ever again."
Akshara smiled at him and asked, “Is this unknown, not nameable, that fluttering mixed feeling is called love?”
“I too don’t know if this is love. (He took her hand and placed it on his chest) But, I am sure this feeling is real here. (Akshara blushed and tried to pull her hand) it also says you are mine forever.”
Dev lowered his head to conceal her lips with a deep, passionate kiss, and she too gave in quickly as she was longing to get one from him. Their smooch and mourns echoed the place, and when Dev reached his hands over Akshara's remaining clothes, she stopped him, whispering, "I too wanted to, but no, not in dreams."
“I have been waiting a long time to make this happen in real,” Dev resumed his kiss, but Akshara revolted at him with less cooperation, as she was overwhelmed with joy but realised that they have been meeting in their dreams.
Akshara was zoned out for a while when she was preoccupied with Dev’s actions. He paused realizing her least cooperation and asked her, “Ignoring me or expecting more?”
“No,” Akshara expressed with her wide-open eyes, “I, hum, Can you teach me... sword?"
"Sword?" Dev tried hard to control his aroused feelings for her and took a long breath before asking, "Why... sword?"
Akshara took a deep breath and look at his icy blue eyes. He watched her struggle to explain something she wanted but hesitated not to. “Are you framing any reason to seize my actions?”
Akshara nodded immediately, “It’s... (exhaled) You have magic, large wings and fierce blue flames in your breath to attack your attacker. But...”
Dev tucked her hair behind her ears while listening. Akshara felt the coldness in his touch and reacted with hissing sound. “But... What?” Dev asked her as if she doesn’t want to say.
Ignoring his icy touch, she said out, “I got nothing to defend me. I just got, (sighed) I just got my anger and your love.”
Akshara faced down, Dev lifted her shrunken face and consoled her by placing her head on his chest, and “Anger and love— both are powerful enough weapons to turn any mighty kingdom to ashes.”
“Don’t think lowly of me. I don’t want to ruin any kingdom.” She replied in her ignorance.
“don’t see the literal meaning, focus on the notion,” Dev explained to her. But she doesn’t want to leave the matter that easily. She argued with him, “You mentioned ashes.”
“Ashes aren’t the end; phoenixes are born out of ashes.” Dev quick-witted her inferior mind to boost up.
Akshara wondered at his words and felt touched with high motivation. So, she spoke her mind, “I used to think always inferior of me comparing me to dust and ashes. But after your appearance in my life, you changed my perspective towards me and my life.”
She continued, “I see myself as dust, you see me as a diamond from dust. I see myself as ashes, you see me as a phoenix from those ashes. You always see the best in me.”
“You are still in finding – yourself - phase. Sara, you are beautiful in both your anger and love. You made me fall in love with you with your most powerful weapons."
"Which weapon of mine impressed you more—anger or love?" Akshara questioned him while wrapping her hands around his neck.
"Both," Dev replied her.
“But, you haven’t seen my anger yet.”
“You think so? I saw that pretty much in Frozen Crescent.” Dev swayed his hand to draw a sword to teach her as she asked.
