68. Spasm of Ravens

The ferocious animal grunted and witnessed the amulet of Akshara on her neck glow brightly to make her vulnerable to seeing what was happening. Akshara’s pet birds chirped loudly and closed their eyes in extreme brightness.
The amulet on her neck glittered and formed a layer of light around her body. The light covering her healed her physical wounds, while in her dreams, Dev was making love to her.
In dreams, Akshara felt the healing that gave her vital strength and pushed Dev to hover over him. She surprised him with her ultimate moves and kisses. Dev enjoyed every string of this dream, and Akshara told him, with her overwhelming smile, "Come to me, Devil. I need you."
The next morning, Akshara woke up to find that she was no longer in the dream world. She was back in the real world, and Dev was nowhere to be found. She was alone with her pet birds chirping next to her. She found her wounds vanished without any marks.

In the Forbidden Tower, Igikran launched an attack at daybreak with his flocks of raven wizards under the order of the Black Witch. Igikran instructed his flocks to divide into four groups and attack the Forbidden Tower from all sides.
The raven wizards assaulted the energy shield incessantly, weakening it and making it more vulnerable to shattering. Ivan Shirk instantly awoke and alerted the dragon warriors. He then turned to face Dev, who was acting out his love for Akshara in his fantasies.
"Ivy, don't wake me; I'm having a good time with your sister," Dev said before going back to sleep. Ivan shouted in his ears, "Ravens attack, Dev, wake up."
Dev quickly woke up without bidding her goodbye and led the dragon warriors to defend against the attack of Igikran. He voiced while reaching, "These mindless ravens have no sense of attack. I left her halfway, giving my proper departure. Errr, I am going to roast these ravens."
Ivan said, "It’s the same ravens who we scorched earlier in the witch palace"
Dev laughed at Igikran, "Why do these ravens want to be defeated again and again? (Dev told to Igikran) Hey, raven! Don’t you have any other time to attack? You attacked my perfect timing. Are you not tired of getting defeated?"
Igikran replied, with much anger, "Dragons! You are nothing but a swarm of alates. I am going to rip your wings off and slay you in your heart to taste your blood. I want your golden blood to possess my strength."
Ivan’s nerves bulged in anger and he replied, "Dev, let me roast these over-mouthed ravens."
Ivan hurried to attack along with his dragon warriors. Dev led their warriors to defend the Forbidden Tower from attack.
The second war between dragons and raven wizards was on track in the Forbidden Tower.

In the dungeon, Indigo splashed some liquid on the face of Akshara. Akshara was startled to wake up from her sleep.
Indigo shouted, "Did you have a nice sleep, you creepy sheep? Wake up."
As Akshara drowsed to stand, Indigo threw the broom in her face, "You clean this place for your breakfast."
Akshara started to clean that nasty, dirty place in the dungeon. But she suddenly remembered the ferocious animal and went in that direction to examine it.
What she saw took her inhalation away from her lungs. The ferocious animal was chained all over its body and was confused by its appearance. It looked like the collaboration of all known animals.
The face resembled a swan, the eyes a hen, the tail a horse, and the four limbs four different animals – tiger, elephant, ostrich, and penguin. "What a divine collaboration!" She exclaimed.
Akshara saw that the animal was still in its sleep and stepped backwards carefully so as not to wake it up. Some dragons flew to the top of the open cave and unboxed some stingy things in it. Akshara was covered with stingy food all over her body. The animal woke up to eat its food.
Akshara was scared of being eaten by the ferocious animal. The animal opened its eyes and saw its food and rushed to finish.
Upon being in the standing position, it sized up like a giant mammoth and moved toward her. Akshara wanted to run for her life, but the food was sticky, which stopped her legs from moving.
The ferocious animal opened its beak to let the tongue out to lick its food. Akshara closed her eyes tightly and talked to her, "Finally, I am useful for being the food for this animal. I am satisfied that I could fill its stomach."
Akshara glimpsed every scene whatsoever she remembered, but to her wonder, every scene had Dev in it. Akshara shouted to her maximum, "I love you, Dev."
The ferocious animal licked its food on Akshara and freed her from the stickiness of its food. Akshara wondered at the actions of that animal and smiled back with shock and fear.
The animal went back to its position and continued its sleep mode. Akshara was awestruck with her fate and wondered, "I still have some time left in this world to survive."
Akshara continued to clean the place with her given broom, and after cleaning, she could not do anything for her food. She talked to that animal while holding her gurgling stomach, "Your appetite was fully satisfied but not mine. There is nothing to eat."
Akshara checked her hands and body to wonder, "Oh, my wounds have vanished..." She sighed,"... They vanished without any scars. Oh, Devil, you have healed me with your love. So, is that to mean you saw my wounds? (She stroked her head with the broom) Huh, he would have surely noticed since we were making love. Yet, they didn’t ask me about it, but I healed. That’s why he insisted on making love in dreams."
The animal opened its eyes to see self-lamenting Akshara and turned back. As the size of that animal was almost a mammoth, she could not able to eye what the animal doing.
The ferocious animal gave some fruits to Akshara, which were planted behind it. Akshara was touched by its kindness and rushed to her birds to feed them, and then she fed herself.
Akshara practised every move of the sword with the broom that Dev taught her in her dreams. Akshara failed initially, but later got control over her hands and legs. "I will mark Dev tonight and I will make him surrender to me. Can I get well versed in sword fighting just in a single night?"

Another day has passed...
Zohan and his wolf soldiers hunted some animals in the forest to satisfy their appetites. Karen was gazing upwards and saw the brightness of the moon through the hole in the cave of Magma- Chamber.
"My lord?" Zohan called Karen to pass some food. Karen denied taking food, which Zohan compelled him to.
"My lord, don’t force you hard. You have to eat to keep your strength for our mission. For the sake of your love," Zohan convinced him.
Karen got the food and brought the food to his mouth. His mind imagined the figure of Akshara, and so he took the food away. He looked down the tunnel of Magma Chamber to watch his pack of warrior werewolves who had been with him leave their family behind, "Am I doing it right, Zohan?"
"My lord, whatever you do, it’s always right. You lead, and we follow." Zohan stated his loyalty.
"I am making my pack suffer just for my selfish love." Karen showed his worry in his words, "Everyone left their family, suffering here for food and shelter just because of me."
"My lord, these wolves are husbands to their wives, fathers to their children, and sons to their parents," Zohan sighed and sat beside him.
"Hmm," Karen replied, but Zohan continued, "When my family abandoned me to the attack of the hungry lycans, it was you who saved my life. You took the bite for me though you know that it can transform you for eternity. "
Karen looked at him and patted his shoulder, "Zohan, why do you recall that now?"
"Now? My lord, I will never forget that I think of that every night before I sleep. You are my family, and no matter where you set your foot, just remember that you are footing on my marks. I will protect you." Zohan fisted at his heart and pledged his loyalty.
"Don’t be protective of me, Zohan. Let me face the struggles, let me suffer a little, only that makes me stronger." Karen replied while looking at the amulet he gave her earlier.
Zohan looked at his worry-filled eyes at Karen, and he couldn’t tolerate seeing his lord’s suffering. He tried to divert him, "Tonight is the full moon, my lord. We will revert to our original wolf forms. We have to go through this transition to keep us immortal."
"Though I am a Lycan, my werewolf’s genes turn me on every full moon reluctantly." Karen sighed.
"It’s mere suffering between lycan and werewolf. But what do you think when you see this full moon?" Zohan asked him.
Karen looked at the full moon with his hazel eyes and reminisced about the night of the Bluemoon and said, in a cool tone, "I see my Axe, Zohan."
"My lord, our expenditure is worth trying to save your love, your Luna, from that big ice walled castle." Zohan pointed to the ice castle of Ayruzglow.
"She must be worried; she must be both scared, frightened. Maybe she might be starving. (His voice trembled and his eyes were moist.) I must save her, Zohan." Karen lamented like a lunatic with moisturised eyes.
Zohan gave his piece of information to Karen, "My lord, you need to be strong to lead us into the enemy kingdom. On your lead, we will venture into the castle, but bringing her back all falls on you. You need to be strong at heart to console your Luna."
Karen sighed and tried to ease the serious situation by asking, "Zohan, do you have any girls in your life?"
"Why do you ask that, my lord?" Zohan blushed, "Had once, but not after I changed."
"You are an old wolf, Zohan, you won’t understand about young people’s love." Karen mocked Zohan.
"Older? Who is older? (Zohan got his feet and confronted Karen) My lord, I am the strongest one in the entire pack of werewolves' clan." Zohan voiced taking advantage of his relationship with Karen, who hid his smile and listened to Zohan with keen eyes and nodding head.
