43. Do not awaken my evil side

In the kingdom of Ukada,
The exhaustion and the adequate failure bound the strong mind of Karen to blur his clear vision. Karen changed his wolf form to mortal form, as he was about to lose his gravity.
He knelt on the ground with exhausted panting when a hand came to help him. Alabruz was deeply worried about the condition of his son and helped him to reach his bedroom.
"My son, you are suffering more... " Alabruz asked with much care in his tone.
"Dad, I still can't find my Axe... I am worried what might have happened to her" tears rolled down in the eyes of Karen.
"Don't worry, my son... Where ever she is, She will be safe... I am damn sure about it..." Alabruz gave confident to his son.
"Axe… Where are you?" Karen shouted to his full throat and gave his full strength punch on the table nearby, the table smashed into pieces as it was unable to withstand the strength of Karen.
Yadivah ran to his son, "Oh my god, Karen... You are bleeding... Let me help you..."
Karen gave his hand to his mother to treat his wounds while Yadivah washed her son's brain with her words, "My son, where have you searched...? I hope you won't even leave an inch of this land without getting into your knowledge... Still, you can't find her out... What does it mean...?"
Alabruz replied to Yadivah, "What does it mean? Divah... Don't ever try to wash my son's brain... As you did it before to me... No, let him choose his life, choose his partner... Let's not interfere in his life"
Yadivah ragged in her tone, "Are you nuts to utter these jabbers... Bruz, can't you see how our son is in miserable condition. You still want him to go after that human, as you did in the past?... No... I won't allow my son to suffer"
Alabruz busted in anger, "I am disappointed in your words, Divah... What do you want from him? What do you want me to do?"
Yadivah got to her feet and opened her mind, "I want Karen to marry the daughter of Delta and extent our borders and territory... (Turned towards Alabruz) I want my dear husband to rule this kingdom calmly in your throne. If anyone dares to go against my wish, then don't blame me for not being mercy on you... DO NOT AWAKEN MY EVIL SIDE"
Alabruz replied, “Divah... What had happened to you... Why are you behaving like this... Did the Black Witch curse you? "
Yadivah left out her evil smile by having her hands on the cheeks of Alabruz, "I am not cursed, my Dear Husband... It is my TRUE SELF... How long I can survive by hiding my true self... ?"
Karen replied much ferociously, "Mom, I know you have a reason for your transformation... But, don't interfere in my life. If you go on insisting me to marry any... Just assume that you and your kingdom are gone heirless. I am withdrawing all my ties with this kingdom... (He turn towards Alabruz) Dad, pardon me..."
Alabruz replied to his son, "Karen, what are you speaking my son... Are you in conscious to utter these words...?"
Karen responded to his father, "Dad... Take care of mom... I am going..."
Yadivah asked, "Going... Where?"
Karen replied, "I am going to find the love of my life... In this journey, if I am found alive in the end, I will return with my Axe and hold the party for welcoming her... Or else, hold a funeral party for lament on my DEATH"
Alabruz hugged his son, "My son, I won't stop you... If she is not found in Ukada and Ardna Chirig, then it means... She must be in the realm of Ayruzglow. Find her... Marry her with her will... If not, don't force her. If you ever want any help, mind linking me... Good luck my son"
Alabruz handed some secret weapons and a map to enter the kingdom, Ayruzglow. Karen was illuminated with confidence to enter the dragon realm.
Yadivah sneered at her husband, “Are you out of your mind, Bruz? You want our son to be dead. He is the only heir to our emerald throne. Instead of advising him not to proceed forward, you are sending off him to the dangerous place to an invaluable human.”
Alabruz hold Yadivah who tried to stop his son. “Let him go, Divah. We never raised a coward, he is the strongest among our clan.”
Karen smiled and nodded. He started his journey along with his thoughts,
“Why the destiny beholds only tragedy and sorrow to my Axe... Oh god! Help me find her. Doesn't know where she would be... I need to find her as quick as possible. No one knows what kind of difficulty she is facing…”
After a long travel, on the shore of the river named Fairy Tears, Karen and his soldiers camped for resting a while and later to compile a plan for rescuing Akshara. Karen's soldiers found a secret passage to cross the mighty river, Fairy Tears with the map given by their king Alabruz Redclaws.
Karen called one of his dearest soldiers, "Zohan..."
Zohan replied, "My lord, we have found a secret passage to cross this river according to the map... It's a cave over there; it leads the passage to the kingdom of Ayruzglow, simply called the Dragon Kingdom."
Karen patted on the shoulders Zohan, "Take rest, we will be leaving tomorrow morning... You look exhausted..."
Zohan replied, "Pardon me for speaking against you, my lord... I don't feel exhausted until you find your love... Also, there is much time for Morning... We can't wait until its dawn... Let's move".
Karen replied, "Zohan... I am so proud to have a friend like you..."
Zohan replied, "My lord... Did you call me your friend...? I am pleased and blessed by Wolf and moon god"
A soldier rushed to Zohan and whispered something in his ear. Zohan informed Karen about the piece of information he got from his fellow soldier.
Karen took a deep breath and when exhaling his breath some tears leaked from his right eye to indicate that he is soon going to meet his love. He looked above to spot the moon which shined brightly.
“Axe, I am coming for you. Hold on a little hope and courage. I am coming to take you with me.”
Karen whistled to signal his soldiers to grab their attention. All werewolf soldiers soon gathered around him. Zohan stood next to Karen to mark his protective towards Karen.
“As the saying goes, even darkness has ears. We can use your mind to communicate,” Karen told and accessed his brain to communicate with his soldiers.
They too responded to him in the same way and Karen explained his plan to explore the mysterious kingdom which is hidden to the naked eye, the kingdom of Ayruzglow. All the soldiers agreed and understood his plan and were all set to execute.

In the Frozen Crescent,
Both Ivan and Dev decided to go to Frozen – Crescent. The Frozen Crescent was decorated in such a way to celebrate the victory of their prince upon the battle with the King of the Raven wizard.
All the wine drinkers were gathered in one place and the Frozen Crescent was overfilled with numerous men and women with the mask on their eyes to celebrate their prince's victory.
Dev and Ivan joined them and started enjoying themselves. Dev was dressed in stunning black which laminated his aura more than usual and covered his eyes with the domino mask which radiated his handsome to the next level. Ivan was dressed in red as usual with a painted red mask on his face, just to watch over his friend’s romance.
All the pair of eyes was fixed on Dev and his stunning figure, but the eyes of Dev were scanning for a glimpse of Akshara.
One of the men started to sing loudly,
Drink, enjoy to the core
Get yourself intoxicated more.
Make the snow as crown
Perfectly fit for our known.
Our future King is here,
Get ready to celebrate the victory.
Only one name was audible,
Dev was the name echoed everywhere.

Everyone was singing and dancing like a lunatic and enjoying their wine with joy. The wine falls were overflowed with many people, while Dev was speaking to himself,
“Why can’t I take my thoughts away from those eyes? It’s evil but exotic. Those eyes were more intoxicating than wines. I came across thousands but those were casting some spells on me.
If I ever tell this about anyone, they would laugh at me. But my heart longs to look at those eyes one more time and it is ordering my mind to reach the place where the eyes were. Should I be here? But I have already arrived, why can’t I see her.
No... I will not be captivated by those eyes. She got something powerful in her eyes. Let me take a final look at those eyes and I going to delete them from my mind.”
Dev realizes that he came to Frozen Crescent to drink wine where he usually drinks. But this time, he not only went to drink but to look at those eyes of Akshara again.
“I am not getting enough of her after occupying her in the night as a white phoenix and in her dreams as her favourite unicorn. She is ready to go with my phoenix and unicorn form, but she is not used to my original dragon and wizard form.”
Dev started to lament to himself and decided to win his love in his original form, So he looked everywhere and could not find the right idea to bring Akshara into the primary cave bar.
So he called a barmaid, “Get Madame Anura here, now.”
The barmaid vanished soon from the place and informed Madame Anura that she was summoned by the Crown prince.
Soon after the word was passed out, Madame Anura came running towards the place where Dev was seated comfortably drinking his favourite flavour of the wine.
“Your Majesty! You summoned me.” Madame Anura kneeled before him.
After nodding his head, Dev stood to make Madame Anura stand, “Don’t stand on formalities, also you are of my mother’s age. So, kneeling before me is not appropriate.”
“Majesty! I know about you and your kindness. That’s why we voted you as our crown prince.”
Dev extended his beaming smile while Madame Anura continued, “Your Majesty, you summoned me?”
“Yes. I summoned you for the service you offered for the masquerade party.”
Madame Anura seemed puzzled and tend to ask him again, “Can you enlighten me, your highness?”
“The people of Ayruzglow are very happy to enjoy the masquerade party I hold. It appears there is a lack of barmaids to serve all the people. Why don’t you summon everyone to attend the party by serving everyone.” Dev completed his quest.
Madame Anura smiled inwardly and agreed, “I will call all the barmaids to attend. I take my leave, your majesty.”
Dev was happy to look forward to the presence of Akshara before his eyes. Madam Anura exited to her chamber to pass the order of the crown prince.
