Chapter 55: Interrupted
**Alice’s Point of view**
Elliot strokes my cheek to wake me up.
"We've arrived."
I stretch and look out the plane's window, watching the runway go by as fast as my life.
Within hours, Elliot woke up from the coma, everyone found out about us, our families sort of rejected us, I accepted Elliot, and Prince Ben who was there to help us organize the hunt in town invited us to join him at his castle until things settled down.
The servants unload our luggage and took us to our rooms on the second floor. I am a little disappointed to have an individual room and I can say without being mistaken that the others too.
We do not say anything, too happy to have been welcomed with so much kindness.
I expect that we eat with the King and the Queen but we are only all 7 at the table and because of the general good mood, nobody could say that we have just been banished.
After only two days, a certain routine is installed. Our activities are varied, from training to research in the library, to eating together. Sometimes we help Ben with his responsibilities and he keeps telling us how happy he is to have his Generals around.
On the evening of the third day, I returned to the library after dinner. I found a new book on what I now call magical plants, my passion. I am still amazed and terrified when I read about all these plants created to harm us.
I'm so engrossed in my reading that I don't notice Elliot sitting down in the chair across from me and putting his hand under his chin.
It's a slight sigh that makes me realize I'm not alone. I look up and notice Elliot looking at me in wonder.
"Excuse me. I didn't hear you."
He smiles slightly. "I know. You're so passionate. This is the only place you go without me." I fidget nervously. "It's like you're doing it on purpose. Are you afraid of something?" He asks me, his eye shining with mischief.
I try to be indifferent. "No, I'm not. What do you want me to be afraid of?"
He laughs softly, shaking his head. "It's a beautiful night. Would you like to go for a run?"
Cassie, who is always bored out of her mind when I dive into a book, suddenly sits up straight, begging me to agree.
I nod and we leave the castle hand in hand in the direction of the nearby forest.
The silence is pleasant and arrived in a clearing I leave behind a tree to undress. As soon as I am naked, I hear bones cracking, a sign that Elliot is shifting. I close my eyes and let Cassie take control.
I feel the fur grow, my face lengthen, my teeth sharpen and my limbs shorten. A few seconds later, Cassie comes out from behind the tree and joins Leo who is sitting with his back to us.
She approaches slowly, without him noticing her. Just as she's about to touch his shoulder with the tip of her nose, Leo turns around with mad speed and tackles her to the ground, his blue eyes shining with mischief.
Cassie raises her head slightly and licks his cheek. He freezes and widens his eyes before snarling at her, licking her ferociously.
Cassie struggles with laughter and manages to get up. Leo looks happy with his effect, the tongue hanging on the side. With a playful look, Cassie slowly moves forward, without taking her eyes off him, and rubs herself against him all over, ending up with her tail just under Leo's snout.
He makes a deep growl and turns to her, his eyes on fire.
*"No more games."* He says in a deep voice.
He takes a step towards her, licking his chops. It's enough to excite Cassie who starts to run like hell, followed closely by a furious Leo.
He runs very fast, yes. But so does she.
We understand quickly that he won't be able to catch us if we don't slow down but we don't want to let him win.
She sees a big tree and decides to climb it. I shift back and take control, using my arms and pushing on my legs.
Leo arrives a few seconds later and stops, looking for us. He sniffs the air and approaches the tree. While he is just below me, he seems to understand and lifts his head, just in time to see me land on his back, making us fall to the ground.
I get up laughing and he grunts softly.
"We got you!" I say, laughing harder.
But Leo is frozen, his eyes sweeping over my naked body.
Oh shit.
I feel myself blushing and try to hide my body with my hands, starting to shift back. But my fur is just starting to come out when Leo pushes me violently against a tree, Elliot's lips crashing on mine with ardor.
We are now both naked, devouring each other ferociously, our hands roaming the body of the other.
A certain urgency takes us and his fingers brush my sensitive zone. He moans in my mouth when he feels how wet I am and passes his hands under my butt, lifting me off the ground.
He pins me against the tree trunk and I wrap my legs around his waist. I cling to his hair and shoulders as he positions his hard member at my entrance.
He looks into my eyes as if asking my permission, even though we both know we can't stop.
He sticks his forehead against mine and as we both take a deep breath to prepare ourselves, a howl of pain is heard in the distance.
We look at each other, completely out of the mood.
"Ben!" We say at the same time.
We shift and run as fast as possible towards the source of the scream.
We come to a big field and find a seriously wounded golden wolf surrounded by an army of repulsive wolves. Rogues I understand. And even if Ben is an excellent fighter, he doesn't stand a chance.
Leo and Cassie throw themselves into the battle, taking them by surprise.
The three of us manage to kill a lot of them, but they're always seems to be more coming. It is only the intervention of the Royal Guard that makes them flee.
We rush towards Ben who has just collapsed on the ground. A medical team is already at his side, ready to take him to the hospital.
The leader of the Royal Guard walks towards us in human form, bringing a loose t-shirt for me and shorts for Elliot, a smile on his face.
"We caught one."
