Chapter 115

Aiden kissed down her neck. “Sasha, Javier is on his way with Melissa.”
She grumbled and rolled over onto her stomach to scream into her pillow. Aiden quickly jumped out of bed, knowing that in the next few seconds she would start thrashing. She didn’t disappoint him and he laughed, shaking his head.
“You are so not a morning person, Ash.”
She rolled over to glare at him. “And yet here you are waking me up for the 600,843,546th time since I met you.”
He laughed again. “This is what you wish to do. Besides, it’s only 599,843,546th time. You over exaggerated, woman.”
She threw a pillow at his head. He ducked.
“Come in,” he called.
The door opened revealing her siblings, their mates, Jo, Ethan and Javier. Sasha sighed.
“Stupid early morning already had coffee and I bet breakfast, mother fuckers,” she growled, getting up out of bed.
Kalani laughed and blew her a kiss. “Love you, too, Aja.”
Javier set four bowls on the table next to a small cauldron. He began to spoon some of the potion into each bowl. He gestured to Gregory who stepped forward and held his hand out. Javier pricked his finger and added some of his blood to one of the bowls before adding some of Aiden’s to another. Lukas’ and Ethan’s went into the other two. Sasha eyed Javier curiously.
“Why them?”
He shrugged. “I always make sure there is no doubt about the results.” He paused, tilting his head. “Is there a problem with me using those three?”
Before she could answer, Aiden wrapped his arm around her waist. “No. Continue.”
“We just need a few drops of Roselynn’s blood now.”
Aiden went over to the bassinet to get her. He brought her back to the table and Sasha moved closer to Javier, growling at him as he pierced her finger. She started crying and Sasha tensed. Javier dribbled a few drops in each bowl. He mixed each bowl with a different stick and only the bowl with Aiden’s blood mixed completely while the other three separated. She crossed her arms over her chest.
“Well, fuck. I so wanted to get out of wearing a dress,” Sasha teased.
Aiden bit her neck. “Stop being a dick. I can still leave you at the altar.”
She giggled as she wound her arm around his neck. “Run and I will find you.”
Kalani pretended to gag. “Get a room, you two.”
Sasha grinned at her. “In case you haven’t noticed, you’re kind of in our room… so whatever you see is seen with your consent.”
She gagged again and Casey and Lily started copying her. Sasha laughed, before sobering up. “I guess we should go get ready. Have I mentioned how much I hate wearing dresses?”
Aiden kissed her hand. “Not today.. Well maybe once.”
Jo led the other girls out with Gregory and Lukas following behind them like smitten puppies. Javier bowed and left, leaving Ethan shifting his weight nervously. Sasha raised an eyebrow.
“What’s on your mind?”
“I was wondering if maybe you could help me with something?”
“With what?”
“I want to propose to Jo, but I am not sure how,” he told them. “I don’t know if you know this, but she is not exactly a girly girl. I thought that since you’re not either, you could give me some advice.”
“Do you have a ring?”
“Yes.”
“With you?”
He pulled a small box out of his pocket and opened it. The beautiful gold band with several small diamonds embedded in it glinted up at them. Sasha smiled at him.
“Is that your grandmother’s ring?”
He nodded. She let out a loud squeal and threw her arms around his neck. She turned him in a circle.
“OH MY GODDESS, ETHAN! This is so awesome. I am so thrilled for you.”
He awkwardly patted her back. “Thanks. I just am not sure how to do it.”
“After the wedding, I’ll help you.”
He smiled. “Thanks. I knew I could count on you.”
She linked their arms together and led him out, chatting happily about him and Jo.
“And that, my little jewel of a princess, is what you call being forgotten.”
Sasha ran back to Aiden to peck his lips and brush a kiss over their daughter’s head. “And that, my dear king, is a promise of what is to come tonight after I’m your wife.”
She jogged back to Ethan who then walked with her to the women’s dressing area. She hugged him again and went inside. She looked around the room happily. All of her ladies were in here. The old Team Soma along with the new members. Jo waved to her and she went over to help her with Lily. Lily leaned back against Sasha as Jo fixed the straps on her shoes.
“So, Lily, do you want to get married one day?,” Jo asked.
Lily nodded. “I want a really big wedding.” She paused. “Not big like a lot of people, but a big place. Like a field or a lake. Somewhere you can’t see any other buildings.”
Jo smiled at her. “I’m sure that will happen for you.”
“What about you, Jo? Do you want to get married?,” Lily inquired.
Jo fell silent, messing with Lily’s dress. Sasha shook her head, clucking her tongue at Jo’s sudden fascination with the single jewel that was slightly askew on the hem of Lily’s dress.
“Well, do you, Jo?,” Sasha asked again.
Jo sighed. “I didn’t, no.”
“But now?”
She glanced up at Sasha. “You know Ethan. Who wouldn’t want to marry someone like that?”
“Interesting. Does he know?”
“No. We haven’t talked about getting married since I told him I didn’t want to.”
“You should tell him you want to get married. I’m sure he’d be happy to know you changed your mind.”
Sasha groaned and turned to her sister who was tugging on her hand.
“Come on, Aja. You need to get dressed.”
Sasha glared at Kalani and stopped. “I get it that you’re getting married, too, but I am not wearing a fucking dress.”
“But, Sasha, it’s our wedding day.”
“Do you really want to wear a dress, Lani?”
“No, but-”
“Who in here really wants to wear a dress? Raise your hands.”
Nobody raised their hands and Sasha let out the breath she didn’t realize she was holding.
“Good! Get dressed in whatever you want. Only rule is to please let it be respectable. No holes.”
She headed towards the door.
“Where are you going?,” Kalani asked.
“To aura the boys,” she called over her shoulder.
The door shut on their laughter and Sasha almost ran down the hall to the other end of the wing. She knocked on their door. “I’m coming in! Cover your junk!”
She counted to ten before entering. She eyed all the men inside.
“We’re scratching the tuxedos, guys. If you don’t, you’ll look stupid,” she informed them.
Aiden immediately pulled his bow tie off. “Thank the Goddess. I knew I loved you for some reason.”
Sasha flipped him off as she reached for their link. 'I need you to have him at the altar with you. Jo wants to marry him, too. I think we should let them join our wedding.’
His eyes narrowed. ‘Isn’t it bad enough you already have Kalani sharing our wedding?’
She shrugged. ‘Do this for me and we can try for another egg.’
He met her eyes. “Deal,” he answered out loud.
She blew him a kiss and danced out of the room. She hurried back to her dressing room to do her makeup, since she wasn’t changing into her gown. It would take less than a minute for her to pull on her reception outfit. In less than an hour, everybody was ready and was gathered around Kalani and Sasha, admiring the similar white silk pants and diamond studded shoes they wore. Sasha’s top was a corset inspired strapless ensemble with strategically placed shimmering crystals. Kalani wore a billowing, long sleeve top that tapered at her waist. Sasha took Kalani’s hand.
“This is going to be your last milkshake for life. Are you ready for that?”
She nodded eagerly. “Are you?”
“Well, I suppose since he is Rose’s father, I should make an honest man out of him.”
They all burst out laughing. A knock came on the door, making them all fall silent. Their fathers poked their heads around the door.
“Are you ladies ready?”
Sasha rolled her shoulders back. “I guess, if we must be.”
They all followed them out to the hallway leading out to the back. Sasha smiled at the other team Soma mates who were waiting for them. Jo frowned.
“Where’s Ethan?”
Sasha leaned forward, pretending to peer through the curtains. She pointed to the front where Ethan was talking to Aiden and Gregory.
“He’s there. Why don’t you go remind him that he’s supposed to be back here.”
She went through the curtain and Sasha beckoned everyone to watch. They all crowded around the exit. Ethan eyed her approaching them, confused. Aiden pushed him forward.
“Ask.”
Realization dawned on his face and he pulled the ring box out of his pocket as he got down on one knee.
“Jo, I have never loved someone like I love you. These past few months have proven just how right loving you is. I know I’m not who you thought you would wind up with, but I would be more than willing to prove to you that the Goddess doesn’t make mistakes for the rest of our lives, if you will let me. Will you marry me?”
Jo just stared down at him and Sasha saw Ethan get nervous.
“Come on, Jo. Answer the man,” Sasha whispered.
Jo held her hand out, nodding. Ethan pushed the ring onto her finger, before jumping up to pick her up. He spun her in a circle, before kissing her. He took her hands and his eyes glazed over. Jo shook her head, grinning. He pecked her cheek and she came back to them. Her cheeks were red, but the smile on her face left no mistake about how happy she was. She held out her hand proudly to Lily and Casey.
“He proposed. Do you two want to help me plan the wedding?”
Sasha glanced at Kalani. “Actually, Jo, there is no need for that. We were hoping you would get married today. I so do not want to have to do anymore stuff like this anytime soon.”
She laughed. “Yes, I’d love to.”
“Good, get in line so we can start. I’m canceling the reception.”
Kalani glared at her. “Why?”
“Because Lily goes home in a few days and I don’t want to waste our time.”
She sighed. “Fine.”
They all got in line and Sasha linked the ceremony lead to start and to move fast. She was already tired of this and they hadn’t even been awake for three hours yet, but she was ready to start on her promise to Aiden. She stepped out first and her eyes remained glued to Aiden’s. Her father offered her his arm and she took it. He led her down the aisle and handed her over to her mate. Sasha watched Papa Slonsky bring both Kalani and Casey down. Lukas guided Lily and Jo down, before the rest of Team Soma came down with their mates. Sasha slapped her forehead and giggled.
‘What?,’ Aiden linked.
‘The wedding party is supposed to come down first. I jumped the gun.’
He smiled. ‘I don’t think anybody cares.’
The pastor quickly ran through everyone’s vows, before introducing the newly married couples as husbands and wives. Aiden rushed Sasha back down the aisle.
“Where’s the fire?,” she joked.
He picked her up and sprinted towards the castle. “I do believe you owe me another egg.”
She shifted in his arms to wrap her legs around his waist. “Faster,” she purred.
He leapt up the stairs to the room and tossed her on the bed. He sank down on top of her, kissing her.
‘When you can’t take anymore, tap out,’ he growled in her head as his eyes smoldered down at her.
She ran her fingers through his hair. ‘Fuck me already. An egg isn’t going to make itself.’
