Chapter 62
Sasha
Three days later, she watched as Aiden laid out a pair of black slacks and a red silk blouse for her. She lifted herself up off of the bed more when he walked into the closet and came back out holding two official looking royal blue robes.
“What are those for?,” she asked.
He sighed, running his fingers through his hair. “Since this is an official gamma challenge, we have to wear official attire. I’m going to change all of this. This is so stupid. It’s just the older generations that want it obvious that we are royals. We don’t need clothes to make it known.”
Sasha raised her eyebrow. “So, why wear it if you feel that way?”
“Tradition?”
“You don’t sound sure.”
“Because I’m not.”
He walked over to the bed to pick her up and make her straddle him. He moved her hips over his cock and groaned when he got hard. She kissed the top of his mark.
“The only things I’m 100% sure about, are the facts that I love you, I would never have anybody else as my queen and we have the most beautiful egg.”
She giggled. “You suck up. Fine, I’ll wear the stupid robes.”
He kissed her knuckles. “Thank you.”
She climbed off his lap to get dressed. His eyes ate up her body and she snapped her fingers.
“My eyes-”
“Are up there, I know, but right now I’m tryna see the ones winking at me on ur chest.”
Her hands flew up to her breasts to cover her nipples as a blush covered her body. He chuckled and crossed the room to her. He pulled her arms away from her chest, before he leaned down to capture a hard nipple in his mouth. He suckled for a second and pulled away.
“Still so shy, my love. I guess I will have to make you be naked more often.”
Her eyes sparkled mischievously at him. “You could be the man of my dreams…. But you're kinda never around and he couldn’t keep his hands off of me.”
He chuckled. “I heard I was better than your dreams.”
She shrugged. “I lied.”
He laughed. “Oh, did you now?”
“Mhmmm. I did,” she teased.
She reached for the slacks as he looked at his watch. He knelt at her feet and she eyed him.
“What are you doi- ah!”
His arms simultaneously spread her legs and lifted her. He lapped at her core as he put her against the wall and slid her up it. Her head dropped back and her legs wrapped around his neck, holding him in place. Her fingers tangled in his hair as she moved her pussy over his face. He exhaled and her body got hotter. She moaned.
“Mhmm.. yes, My Queen. Again.”
“Aiden!,” she cried out breathlessly, her movements speeding up.
He sucked on her clit as he wiggled a hand between her legs to thrust two of them inside of her. Her body tightened around him and he chuckled, sending vibrations through her clit. She exploded around and on him. Her legs relaxed and dropped from around his neck. He slowly lowered her to the ground. He straightened her shirt, before stepping back.
“Tell your dream man to top that,” he teased.
She was about to retort when there was a sudden banging on the door.
“AID, YOU HORNY MOTHERFUCKER! THE CHALLENGE STARTS IN TEN MINUTES! YOU TWO ARE LATE! PULL YOUR DICK OUT OF OUR QUEEN AND GET A MOVE ON,!” Gregory yelled.
Sasha flushed and hurried to finish getting dressed while Gregory continued to pound on the door. They pulled their robes on as they went to the door. Aiden snatched it open to glare at his best friend.
“Enough! I think the whole castle heard you! Besides, we weren’t making love,” he growled.
Gregory smirked. “That’s why I could smell her from down the hall. Come, brother. We have five minutes.”
“We’ll meet you there.”
Aiden shut the door in his face and picked Sasha up. He carried her to the balcony and stepped off. His wings came out to slow their descent. He carried her around to the back of the castle to the field where they had first met Lukas. It had been set up for a battle and there were a few medical personnel standing around the perimeter. The stands were full of onlookers who all bowed as Aiden walked by with Sasha in his arms. Sasha heard the whispers start and Aiden ignored them all. He took her to the box high above the rest. He set her down, before leaning over the edge. Everyone fell silent.
“Welcome, Dragão Clan subjects. Today we are grateful for you to bear witness to the first gamma ranking challenge in three centuries.” He gestured in Ethan’s direction. “Ethan Cummings of Tursum has challenged our gamma, Corbius Lander, for gammaship. Rules are as follows: Once a challenge has been issued, the current gamma has no choice, but to accept it. Failure to do so, results in his death by my hands. He has to prove that he is worthy of his rank by proving he can keep it. Secondly, the challenge will be broken into two parts. The first half is hand to hand combat in human form. After ten minutes, Beta Gregory will ring a bell, signifying the start of the portion where they can shift if they want to. Thirdly, there is no forfeit. This is a battle to the death. They can not leave the area or they will be hunted down and killed.” He drew in a deep breath and climbed up on the ledge of the box. He reached down to pull Sasha up next to him. “Last and most importantly, it is my absolute pleasure to introduce you to our queen and my mate, Queen Sasha.”
He knelt on the ledge, using his wing to keep himself from falling. He took her hand and kissed it, before lowering his head briefly. He met her eyes when he lifted his head and held up her hand when he stood back up.
“LONG LIVE DRAGÃO’S QUEEN, SASHA!”
His yell was echoed by each of the roughly 300 people in attendance. He helped her back down, before draping his arm over her shoulders. He sat them in their chairs and nodded down at Gregory.
“You may begin.”
Gregory stepped up between the two men waiting. He nodded at Ethan who stepped forward to place his feet at the line in the ground.
“I am Ethan Cummings of Tursum. My challenge was issued three days ago, because I believe myself more capable of protecting, training and guarding the Dragão Clan. Do you accept?”
Corbius bared his teeth as he stepped up to the line, going toe to toe with Ethan. “I, Corbius Lander, Gamma of the Dragão Clan, accept your challenge.”
Gregory put his hand on both of their shoulders, pushing them each back towards their starting places. He walked off of the field to where a small bell hung.
“BEGIN!,” he shouted as he rang it.
Corbius began to circle Ethan while he remained still, fully relaxed. Sasha’s heart started pounding hard in her chest. She prayed that all the self- defense training she had given him would be enough to keep him alive. Corbius stopped behind him and lunged. Ethan sidestepped and placed a kick into the back of his knee, before spinning away. He spun so fast he was a blur. She blinked in shock and leaned forward. That move she had taught him after reading it in a book, sucked all the oxygen out of the area. He had always been able to do it, but this was something else. He had been practicing in the few weeks she had been gone. That begged the question of why.
Corbius hit the ground and Ethan kept circling around him, starting wide, but closing in on him, hitting him every time he passed him. Corbius was forced forward as he gasped for air. He reached out and Ethan just kept whirling around him, maneuvering easily around Corbius’s outstretched hands. Gregory rang the bell and Corbius smirked. He breathed out and his fire sparked, but didn’t light. Corbius’s wings came out and he skyrocketed upwards. Ethan's wings came out and they helped him shoot upwards and spin faster.
The air began to turn until a twister had formed. Ethan breathed out and the tornado became inflamed. He shot up higher and Corbius’s dragon tried to avoid the twister. Ethan hovered above him, before angling downwards and body slamming into him repeatedly until he was knocked out of the sky. He fell into the wide tornado followed by a rapidly dropping Ethan. Ethan’s dragon began to whip around the tornado making it spin faster. Corbius’s body went limp from the lack of oxygen, but Ethan just kept spinning. Another ten minutes went by, before Ethan shifted back, slowing his rotations. He flew up above the twister and shot fireball after fireball into it until Corbius' body was nothing, but ash. He sucked in and the tornado slowed, before dissipating entirely. He landed on the ground in front of the royal’s box. Aiden tensed beside her as Gregory walked over and lifted Ethan’s arm into the air.
“OUR NEW GAMMA, ETHAN CUMMINGS OF THE DRAGÃO CLAN!,” Gregory announced.
