Chapter 195 Scarlett's Plan
Scarlett decided that she would no longer allow Leonard and Carol to have any contact. So, the next day, she arranged to meet Carol alone at a dessert shop.
Scarlett shared Leonard's thoughts about Carol with her, which elicited a gasp from Carol. "What? Are you saying Leonard thinks of me as his woman? Is he joking?"
Scarlett shrugged, spreading her hands in a helpless gesture. "Yes, indeed. In his mind, since he was the one who took your virginity, you are his woman."
"That night was just a misunderstanding. How could he think so?" Carol raised her voice a few notches, drawing curious glances from other customers in the dessert shop.
Noticing her outburst, Carol lowered her voice and looked seriously at Scarlett. "I never felt that way. At most, I saw him as a kind of masturbation tool."
"If Leonard heard that, he'd probably be devastated," Scarlett said, taking a bite of her dessert, and shrugged again.
"From what I know about Leonard, he's very stubborn. Once he believes in something, it's hard to change his mind." Scarlett sighed as she thought about Leonard's personality.
Carol showed some concern as she looked at Scarlett. "What should I do? I like Bill. There's no way I would leave him for Leonard. But I can't tell Bill about this because Leonard is the only friend of his."
Seeing Carol's serious demeanor, Scarlett nodded approvingly. "It's good that you think that way. But the most important thing now is to make an opportunity for you and Bill to sleep together. Once Leonard knows that you've already had sex with Bill, he would stop bothering you."
Hearing Scarlett's suggestion, Carol blushed.
Scarlett noticed her expression and asked as she was somewhat surprised, "After Bill revealed his feelings for you, you two haven't had sex yet, have you?"
Carol shyly shook her head. "No, Bill said he wanted to save our first sex for our wedding night."
Scarlett nearly spat out her drink. She coughed violently, wiped the drink from her mouth with a napkin, and looked at Carol in disbelief.
"My God, are you kidding me? I cannot believe there are still people who think so. You didn't accept it, did you?" Scarlett asked in shock.
Carol shyly nodded.
Scarlett looked exasperated, rolling her eyes and covering her forehead. "No wonder you and Bill ended up together. No one who’s normal would think like that. Doesn't he worry you might break up with him and he'll get nothing? Oh, right. He’s too dumb to think so."
Realizing she might have been out of line, Scarlett quickly explained, "Sorry... I didn't mean to insult him or your relationship... I think your decision... is not modern enough."
"Scarlett, I understand what you mean. So the solution now for me is to seduce Bill?" Carol turned even shyer as she imagined some explicit scenes.
"Of course. Do you expect Bill to come onto you?" Scarlett pulled out two tickets from her pocket and handed them to Carol.
"There's going to be a yacht party at sea soon. These are two invitation tickets. The organizers have prepared a comfortable room for each couple. Forget about your damned agreement with Bill and use all your charm to seduce him! You can bring a sexy swimsuit and then..." Scarlett leaned in to give Carol some tips on how to seduce Bill. These bold and wild suggestions quickened Carol's breathing.
After explaining her plan, Scarlett looked up and told Carol to call Bill and tell him the good news.
"Okay, Scarlett. I know what to do." Carol immediately called Bill to ask him out.
Ten minutes later, Bill arrived at the dessert shop, but he wasn't alone. Standing next to him was the last person Carol wanted to see.
"Leonard? Why are you here?" Scarlett was startled to see Leonard.
Bill scratched his head and explained with a silly smile, "Leonard and I were working on a remote-controlled airplane together. When I got the call saying you were treating us to dessert, we came right over."
Leonard noticed Scarlett's displeased expression and asked in a puzzle, "Scarlett, do you not want me here?"
