Chapter 72 Agreement with Tina
When faced with Scarlett's question, Tina thought of Leonard and Julie but chose not to mention it.
"I went to the library to read today. How would I know where Leonard went? I'm going to take a shower." Tina brushed Scarlett's hand aside and headed upstairs.
"Strange, where did Leonard go?" Scarlett mused, touching her chin thoughtfully.
Meanwhile, Leonard suddenly came running back, drenched in sweat from intense exercise and the heat.
Scarlett handed Leonard a towel. "Where have you been?"
Leonard paused in his wiping and explained, "I went out with some friends today."
Scarlett eyed him suspiciously. "Do you have any friends besides Bill? I wasn't aware."
Leonard laughed awkwardly. "I need to make new friends, don't I?"
Mrs. Romy stepped in to interrupt Scarlett's questioning. "Alright, Scarlett. Leonard does need to meet new friends. Leonard, Tina is using the bathroom on the second floor. If you want to shower, you can use the one in my room."
"Thanks, Aunt Romy. I'll head upstairs now." Leonard cheerfully ran up to the second floor.
Mrs. Romy watched Leonard's retreating figure with satisfaction. 'This child has become much more cheerful since I educated him about sex.'
Night fell, and it was dinner time.
The family gathered around the table. Lowell looked at Tina and suddenly asked, "Tina, how's your telescope working out?"
Tina nodded. "I've learned how to use it. I can go stargazing on the mountaintop this weekend."
"Stargazing on the mountaintop sounds cool!" Leonard exclaimed, looking at Tina.
Whenever Tina heard Leonard speak now, she couldn't help but picture him and Julie shopping together.
Tina shook her head slightly and said, "I joined an astronomy club. We need to submit two stargazing photos every weekend. The mountaintop offers the best view."
"If I remember correctly, that telescope is quite heavy. Can you carry it up the mountain by yourself? I'll be on a business trip for a few days and can't help you," Lowell said, concerned.
"I'm worried about that, too," Tina frowned, falling silent.
"It's just carrying stuff, right? I can do it!" Leonard suddenly raised his hand.
Everyone at the table turned their gaze to Leonard.
Leonard, his mouth full of food, looked at them in confusion and said, "What's wrong? I'm strong, and I want to see the stars from the mountaintop, too."
"Leonard is already eighteen. With him protecting Tina, I feel more at ease." Lowell nodded approvingly.
Mrs. Romy also agreed with Leonard's suggestion. Even Scarlett, who often clashed with Tina, had to consider her sister's safety.
Everyone agreed, leaving only Tina in silence.
Leonard smiled at Tina. "If you think I'm not up to the task, you can refuse."
Tina blushed and, somewhat awkwardly, said, "Alright, I'm counting on you. Be careful with the telescope, and don't damage it."
"Don't worry, Tina. I'll be very careful!" Leonard promised, patting his chest.
Late at night, Tina's room was still lit. She sat at her computer, fingers flying over the keyboard, writing a novel.
The story had reached a passionate kiss between the protagonists, leading to clothes being torn off and some steamy scenes.
Suddenly, Tina frowned and hit the delete key, erasing everything she had just written. She slumped in her chair, holding her forehead.
"I can never write satisfying sex scenes despite reading so many books and watching adult films. Do I need to experience it myself?" Tina sighed.
Leonard and Julie's images flashed through her mind.
"Did Leonard have sex with Julie that day at the hotel? If Leonard has sexual experience, should I ask him for advice?"
