Chapter 205 Giving Mrs. Romy a Choice
Leonard instructed Jennifer to call Mrs. Romy and invite her to Washington. Jennifer immediately understood that the ally Leonard referred to was Mrs. Romy.
"It is indeed a clever idea to have the wife keep an eye on her husband, but how can you be sure Romy will say yes?" Jennifer asked, puzzled after making the call.
Leonard confidently played with his phone, which displayed a science exhibition. As he looked through the exhibition details, he said confidently, "I've lived with her for over a decade. I know her well. Besides, I have ways to make her agree."
"What ways?" Jennifer asked curiously, but Leonard merely glanced at her, smiled, and didn't answer.
The next morning, as the plane landed, Jennifer went to the airport to pick up Mrs. Romy.
"Jennifer, what exactly is going on with Leonard?" Mrs. Romy asked anxiously. Jennifer had called her, saying Leonard was in trouble, but she hadn't specified what trouble he was into.
"Is Leonard hurt?" Mrs. Romy asked worriedly.
Jennifer sighed as she drove. "Leonard isn't fine. You can rest assured about that. But he's dealing with something more troublesome than an injury."
"What is it?" Mrs. Romy inquired.
"We discovered that Leonard's parents' deaths might not have been an accident but rather a hired murder," Jennifer's words left Mrs. Romy stunned.
When they arrived at Leonard's hotel, Mrs. Romy opened the door to find Leonard on the balcony, talking on the phone.
"Alright, I need those things delivered to the hotel by noon. It's urgent," Leonard said and hung up the phone after giving the address.
"Good afternoon, Mrs. Romy," Leonard greeted Mrs. Romy.
"Leonard, what is going on? Why did Jennifer say your parents' deaths weren't an accident?" Mrs. Romy asked anxiously.
Leonard shared the information they had discovered the previous night. Mrs. Romy turned pale and stepped back, sinking onto the bed in shock.
"Impossible, that’s not like Lowell. There must be some misunderstanding." Mrs. Romy shook her head repeatedly as she was unable to accept that her husband of many years could be a murderer.
Leonard approached her, speaking gently to comfort her. "Mrs. Romy, we're just speculating at this point. We need to verify if Black Thorn Security is indeed an assassin group tonight."
Mrs. Romy stood up, held Leonard's hand, and pleaded. "Please, Leonard. Lowell is kind-hearted. he wouldn't do something like this."
Seeing the pleading look in Mrs. Romy’s eyes, Leonard suddenly smiled.
"Romy, if our suspicions are correct, who would you choose, me or Lowell?" Leonard's question astonished Mrs. Romy. Jennifer, who was curious, also wanted to hear her answer.
"I... I don't know..." Mrs. Romy shook her head and answered in pain.
"No, you must know because it would affect our next steps," Leonard said, then firmly hugged Mrs. Romy, and kissed her.
Leonard's kiss seemed to have a magical effect. Mrs. Romy felt her body go weak, her breathing quicken, and her heart racing.
Feeling almost suffocated, Mrs. Romy hurriedly pushed Leonard away. Blushing, she said, "Don't do that, Leonard. Jennifer is right here."
"It's okay, there’s no need to be awkward. After all, we've had a threesome before," Jennifer said and waved her hand, but her words made Mrs. Romy blush even more.
"Romy, your mind is in turmoil right now. I'll help you calm down so you can think clearly," Leonard said and gently removed Mrs. Romy’s clothes until she was naked.
Jennifer watched Leonard's gentle actions with a surge of jealousy.
'I'm also Leonard's woman, so why is he so rough with me but gentle with Romy? Is it because she raised him for so many years?' Jennifer wondered as she watched Leonard and Mrs. Romy’s intimate actions.
