chapter 35: Exposed
"What the fuck happened here?" Blaze snapped out, Diva still snuggling her head in his chest. Tears were threatening to come out of her eyes.
One of the employees said, "Sir, we have seen it in this way since we came. Everything on ma'am's desk was ruined."
"Give me the footage," announced Blaze.
Another employee said, "Sir, we tried but the footage was damaged too."
As soon as Diva heard that, pushing herself from Blaze's grip, she ran towards the washroom.
"Atlas, clear the mess," Blaze said curtly to his assistant before running to follow Diva.
Diva locked herself in the girls' washroom. No one was there. She plopped on the clean floor, tears sprinkling through her eyes. Her back was leaning on the locked door.
"Why am I the unlucky one?" she breathed out, still crying. She never felt that much broken in her entire life.
"Grandma was right. I shouldn't have been in the gaming field. Blaze trusted me so much and now, I am suffering a loss in my own game."
She continued crying, pulling her knees up to her chest level, she curled herself in a ball.
Blaze was outside the washroom door. He could hear Diva and thus, hesitated to knock on the door. So, he let out, "Diva?"
Hearing his voice, Diva didn't utter a word. Rather she wanted to hear his voice quietly. After all, his voice calmed her.
"Listen to me. Sometimes, things don't go in our way. But everything happens for a reason," he continued, "If the data is erased, so what? You have everything stored in your brain. You can recreate it and this time, we will store it in my, yours, Lina's, Atlas's laptop. If needed, we will buy a laptop for Grandma and store it there. Just be strong. There is still time."
"But the deadline is three weeks away," she spoke, at last, making Blaze smile.
He never thought that he loved a talkative Diva more than a quiet one. He used to tell her to be quiet but it irked him when he didn't hear her speak.
"So what? It's not three weeks, Diva. It's twenty-one days. It's 504 hours. That's a lot of time. Who said we don't have time? Besides, Diva can do anything. After all, her name means princess. She can rule everywhere within a short span of time."
Blaze was still standing outside the door. Diva didn't answer. When he heard the door click, he saw Diva smiling at him. Her tears weren't visible anymore. She washed her face before coming out.
"You are right. I can do anything. I will remake 'Choc Hunters'. No one can stop me," she said confidently.
"That's the spirit," Blaze spoke, proudly. He was grateful to God for bringing Diva in his life. She was extraordinary.
"Before we remake the game, we have to find out who did all these," spoke Lina, as she walked towards the couple, "Someone doesn't want Diva to be successful."
Blaze nodded and put his hands in the pocket. "You are right. And I know how we can find who did everything."
Diva glanced at Blaze. "But the footage was damaged. How will we find out?"
A smirk evolved in his lips as he spoke, "Kiwi Inc. has too many CCTV cameras."

After watching the footage, Diva, Blaze, and Lina were shocked. They didn't expect that person to be the traitornot at all.
Diva made a plan to expose that person, a plan which Blaze could barely agree to. However, she managed to convince him.
"Okay, I am going to the meeting room," Diva announced. "Blaze, your phone."
He handed his phone to her, concern filled his face. "Just scream if something happens, okay? I am outside."
"So am I," Lina interfered.
Inhaling a deep breath, Diva marched inside the cabin, where only one person was present.
"Hi, Taurus," she let out, going live through Blaze's Instagram. She was recording everything.
Taurus gave a victorious smile which he instantly covered up with a cough. He was in the meeting room because Blaze announced an important meeting, which Taurus thought. He gave a fake sad smile, saying, "Hi, Diva. I heard what happened. I am so sorry."
"You should be," Diva let out bitterly, "Why did you ruin my game? Why did you delete everything?"
Taurus was taken aback at the sudden questions being thrown in his direction. "What are you talking about, Diva?"
"Playing innocent won't help, Taurus. I have the clear video of you ruining my work." Diva handed a Pendrive to him. "If you want, watch the video."
Without waiting for another split second, Taurus dropped the Pendrive on purpose and stepped on it.
"Yes, I did it. I don't need any proof, Diva Hudson."
"Why did you do it, Taurus?" questioned Diva, fully disappointed that she trusted him and made him her partner.
"Because a woman cannot be good in the IT sector, not at least in game development. She cannot be as good as a man! I don't want you or any woman to be successful and rule in this field as well. This is why I ruined your work," Taurus spat out.
Diva was disappointed but she covered it up with a chuckle. "And you thought you ruined the last proof I had which was the Pendrive?"
He narrowed his eyebrows. "Why are you smiling, Diva?"
Diva's smile turned into a big grin as she raised the phone higher, and said, "So, my dear viewers, this is the truth of the famous game developer Taurus Gibbler. He ruined my work and possibly, the work of many other women like me."
The live streaming of Instagram had more than ten million viewers at once. Taurus Gibbler was exposed online.
Taurus's eyes darkened. "Diva Hudson!" he yelled, "I am going to kill you!"
As he was about to take out a pocket knife, Blaze grabbed his hand. "And if you ever utter my wife's name, you have no idea what will happen to you," Blaze spat out, tightening his grip. "The police officers are waiting for you."
"I will take him, sir," Atlas said and held Taurus, Lina following them so that he couldn't escape.
Heaving a sigh in relief, Diva plopped on the chair.
"Are you okay? Did he hurt you or"
She interrupted Blaze with a genuine smile, "Thank you so much, my dear frhusband."
A smile formed on Blaze's lips, as he sat on another chair next to hers. "So, ready to remake 'Choc Hunters'?" he questioned, making Diva grin.
"Of course!"
