chapter 40: Wedding Bells
It was finally the big day, the day the extrovert would marry her introvert.
After many arguments, they could come up with such a wedding arrangement, which was liked by both of them. The entire church of Church Street was booked by the Hudsons. Diva and Blaze decided to get married in the same church they were forced to marry earlier. Their beginning was from that place based on the token number. So they wanted a fresh start from the same place.
Diva was glancing at the mirror repeatedly, checking whether her hair was perfectly set or not. What if the few strands on her face got messy? Lina spent plenty of time on Diva's hair after all. She was the bridesmaid, while Atlas became the best man. Vyan couldn't make it yesterday and he promised to come before the vows were exchanged.
Diva wore a mermaid wedding dress. It was extremely fitted throughout the bodice, waist, and hips. The silhouette flared out at the knees, pairing with beading. The pre-wedding jitters were hitting her hard. She glanced at her appearance through the mirror one more time and wondered, was Blaze feeling the same?
Blaze was having a hard time too as he fixed his collar of the tux. He knew that he was supposed to be happy because he was fortunate enough to marry the woman he loved. He was indeed happy, but nervousness hit him hard. What if I stammer while saying 'I do'? Or worse, what if I don't even utter a word? Different questions got into his head.
"I had the same feeling," Adrian Hudson, the father of Blaze spoke up from behind, "But when I remembered the moments with your mom, I knew it was the best decision I have ever made, and then, I was not nervous anymore."
Glancing at his father, Blaze let out a sigh. "Thanks, Dad. I should do that." He further asked, "Did you talk to Vyan?" he asked, fully aware of the relation between Vyan and his father.
Adrian nodded. "I didn't want to, but the girl he brought with him, dragged me and forced us to talk."
"So, he brought Ivana?" Blaze asked, fully amused. When he saw Adrian nod once again, he let out, "That girl made Vyan fall for her. She can do anything, just like Diva and mom."
Chuckling, his father said, "Hudsons are allowed to have crazy wives only."
Blaze shook his head, still smiling.
"It's time," Tatiana Hudson announced, entering the room. "Oh my! You look so handsome. I can't believe one of my sons is getting married. We are turning old."
"Blaze is already married," Adrian said to her.
She avoided his remark and walked towards Blaze. "Let's go, honey. Your princess is waiting for you."

Blaze was waiting eagerly for Diva. Soothing music was being played in the background. He was standing on the aisle, putting his hands in his pocket. He looked at his twin, who gave him a small smile. There was a girl next to Vyan, her green eyes glinting in happiness; as if she waited to attend the wedding for a long time. She was a fan of Blaze and Diva. She adored their love, also the game launched by Diva.
As the first few notes filled the church, everyone present stood to their feet and faced the door as Diva and her grandma, Emerald stepped into view. She looked amazing in her wedding dress, as she stepped into view. Blaze sucked in a deep breath at the sight of his love.
As Diva was walking down the aisle, Blaze extended a hand, which she took without any hesitation. A beautiful smile was plastered on her face.
The priest looked at both of them, before beginning the ceremony. He started reciting some verses from the Holy Bible. While the priest was busy reciting the verses, Blaze and Diva were staring intently with each other, holding hands, eager to get married to each other for real this time.
Then the priest told Blaze to repeat after him.
So, Blaze repeated, "I, Blaze Hudson, take you, Diva Adler to be my wife, to have and to hold from this day forward; for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part, according to God's holy law. In the presence of God, I make this vow."
Diva also said after the priest, "I, Diva Adler, take you, Blaze Hudson to be my husband, to have and to hold from this day forward; for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part, according to God's holy law. In the presence of God, I make this vow."
After Atlas and Lina, the best man and bridesmaid gave Diva and Blaze the rings, they made each other wear them.
After their oaths, the priest said, "By the power invested in me, you may kiss the bride."
As soon as the priest said that, Blaze pulled Diva into a kiss. Everyone cheered as the extrovert married the introvert. Finally, they were madly in love with each other, and they weren't forced into a wedding. Who knew a token number could turn out to be so lucky for Blaze and Diva? No one did.

"I am such a big fan of both of you," Ivana let out after she hugged Diva. "When I found that it was your wedding, I knew I had to come."
Diva gave a beautiful smile at Vyan, before nodding. She liked Ivana and that was a way of letting Vyan know that Ivana was a perfect girl for him. Vyan gave a curt nod in return.
"Let's gossip," Diva uttered and pulled Ivana with her, leaving the Hudson twins alone.
Vyan handed a glass of champagne to Blaze and said, "Congratulations, brother!"
Blaze took the glass gladly. "Thanks." They both were in peaceful silence until Blaze broke it saying, "Does Ivana know the truth?"
"That I know her truth?" Vyan asked to be sure.
Blaze nodded. "Yes. Does she know that you know her truth?"
Heaving a sigh, Vyan spoke, "No, Blaze. She doesn't know that, nor does she know my truth. She is entangled in a web of lies and I don't want to bring her out of it. If I did, I would lose the only woman I have ever loved."
"Blaze, can you come here for a while, please?" Diva called out.
Keeping back the glass of champagne, Blaze said to Vyan, "Lying will ruin the best thing that has ever happened to you. Tell her before it's too late. The late realization will only bring destruction." Then he walked towards his wife, leaving Vyan in deep thought.
When Blaze walked towards Diva, she grabbed his hand and started walking in a different direction, shocking him.
"Where are you taking me? Like, really?" Blaze asked, but Diva continued dragging him to one corner of the church, totally avoiding his question.
She took him to a room and locked it from inside.
"What are you doing, Diva?"
Smiling, she wrapped her arms around Blaze's neck and placed her lips on his. "I cannot wait," she mumbled, making Blaze chuckle.
"Believe me, neither can I, baby girl."
