chapter 36: Dream And Efforts
After that incident, Taurus Gibbler's life was ruined. Meanwhile, Diva had started working all day and night. Too much work regarding the game needed to be completed within a short amount of time.
Blaze continuously supported her with her work.
Like every other day, Diva was working in the living room. A lot of portions of the game needed to be developed and Diva was very stressed. She would not have been eating food properly and her routine was irregular. She didn't even realize when Blaze had started feeding her breakfast, lunch, and dinner on time. She just saw food in front of her mouth and opened it, while Blaze fed her slowly.
She was working non stop for the game due to the short span of time while Blaze was the one taking care of her.
While she was working, Blaze brought food for her once again.
"I am busy," Diva stated, her eyes glued to the monitor.
Blaze's eyes softened as he let out, "I know."
No more words were exchanged as Blaze sat next to her. He took a spoonful of rice and started feeding her, something he loved to do. He thought that it was really cute how she would open her mouth as soon as she was done for the next while focusing on her work.
Within some time, she had done eating. Blaze patted her head as Diva continued on her work.
"Don't overwork yourself, Diva," he said, slightly worried.
"I have to finish it quickly. There is not much time left," she mumbled and continued working.
Blaze was worried about her health, even though Diva didn't care for herself. He did not want her to overwork herself and fall sick. He was also worried if she got migraines from all the work she was doing.
But he couldn't deny his undying love for her. He kept falling in love with, again and again, each time greater than before. Her dedication to her work was so strong, he couldn't help but admire her. And the more he fell for her, the more he started loving even the smallest details of hers.
Starting from how her eyes were focused, how she tilted her head when confused, how her fingers typed along with the keyboard, how she bit her lip when she was worried or nervous, how she yawned when she got tired but still just stretched a bit and continued working, Blaze noticed every tiny detail, every small act. Diva could just blink and he would think it was cute. Love was indeed weird.
Months ago, right when they got married, if someone told him that he would fall for Diva like a crazy lover, then he would have laughed it out. But now, everything was different.
"What are you thinking about?" Diva asked all of a sudden, pulling Blaze out of his thoughts.
"You have time to know my thoughts but don't have time to rest for a while?" Blaze raised her eyebrows.
Diva's eyes soften for a mere moment which didn't go unnoticed by Blaze. Then she rolled her eyes and looked back at the screen.
"Just asking," she stated, tiredness evident in her voice. But she had more work to complete, so she got back to work.
Blaze watched her as she pushed herself to continue working. He remembered the look of disdain she gave when she was an editor. A chuckle escaped his lips at that memory.
"What's funny?" Diva narrowed her eyes.
"Nothing. Nothing at all, Princess." Blaze stood up and kissed her forehead. Then went to the kitchen to get coffee for both of them.
Diva smiled at him as she saw him walking towards the kitchen.
Blaze was the best husband Diva could ever ask for. His continuous support and care for her melted her heart. She loved how he fed her, looked after her, and supported her as she kept working. She could have never been where she was now alone.
Shaking her head, Diva went back to work. The game had to be the best of her ability to show Blaze that his efforts towards her didn't go in vain. The trust he had for Diva couldn't break. For that, Diva would do whatever it takes.
Blaze returned to the living room with two cups of coffee in his hand. He handed her a cup and started sipping his coffee as he took a seat beside her. Diva thanked him and smiled as she continued working, taking a sip once in a while.
Deciding to complete his own task, Blaze opened his laptop. While working, he kept stealing some glances at Diva as some of her hair fell on her face, which she pushed repeatedly. They continued their respective works.

After an hour, Blaze went to the kitchen to keep the empty mugs back. When he returned, he saw that Diva had already fallen asleep.
He sighed. "This girl..."
Like every other night, he picked her up and took her back to their room so that she could sleep comfortably.
Blaze couldn't thank God enough for getting Diva as his life partner. His extroverted wife was perfect for his introverted self. They were a perfect match and he knew that. He was waiting for Diva's dream game to turn into reality before he talked about their relationship. He didn't want to create more distance between him and her like it already did after the kiss.
That was how their regular life was going on. Diva was busy with her game while Blaze was busy supporting and admiring her. He eagerly waited for her success, which he was sure she would achieve.
The next three weeks passed in the same routine, the couple getting closer than before. They couldn't wait for the final presentation, the day Diva would explain everything about 'Choc Hunters' to Blaze, who trusted Diva blindly, without even knowing the concept of her dream game.
