chapter 41: Our End

The sunlight fell straight on Diva's face, who covered her beautiful face with her hands. "Blaze, close the curtains, and let me sleep. I am really tired," grumbled Diva, her body aching due to the intense love-making last night.
They were in Santorini for their honeymoon. It has been a week since they got married, but every day was like their first night after the wedding.
Blaze placed the tray filled with freshly baked pancakes by him, on the coffee table in their bedroom. He had a penthouse of his own there, so living there was easier for him and Diva. He couldn't cook, but due to the internet, and Diva forcing him every day to make breakfast especially for her, Blaze learned to make pancakes at least.
Diva was a dessert lover, so pancakes impressed her.
"You have to wake up, Diva," Blaze uttered, pulling the blanket from her. "We are going back home after eating breakfast. Come on, get up."
Diva rubbed her eyes, the noise of Blaze was bothering her. Nonetheless, she opened up her eyes and glanced at her husband.
"Why do we have to go today? Can't we stay for a few more days here?" she inquired, getting up from her sleepy state.
Blaze shook his head, taking a seat on one of the couches. "We can come here anytime we want, but not stay long. I have a company to handle if you didn't know." He further spoke, "Freshen up already. The pancakes are getting cold."
Groaning, Diva made her way towards the washroom. After freshening up, she got out and smiled seeing Blaze serving some fresh strawberry pancakes for Diva. She plopped next to him as Blaze handed him the plate. "For you, beautiful," he breathed out.
"Thank you," Diva said with a grin.
The two of them had their breakfast together. While Diva was chatting to him, they did have a nice time. Soon, it was time for them to leave Santorini, one of the most beautiful places Diva had ever seen. She was happy that she could go there anytime since Blaze owned a penthouse and a car there.
___
"Finally!" Diva let out, standing on the couch as soon as she had entered the Hudson mansion.
Blaze looked at her in disappointment. "How many times have I told you to stop jumping without freshening up? Like, we just got home and you are jumping on the couch here, dirtying it."
Diva rolled her eyes. "Blaze, why do you have to act so grumpy? If I maintain cleanliness in everything, what's the fun of doing stuff then? I will get bored."
"Bored?" Blazed shook his head, not wanting to continue the conversation anymore. He had a bad feeling about it; as if it would lead to a fight among him and Diva, which was the last thing he wanted at that moment. So he told her, "Forget it."
She put her hands on her hips. "Forget it?"
Not bothering to answer her, Blaze walked past Diva and made his way to the bedroom from the leaving room.
He dialed Atlas and said, "I am here now. What happened with Diva's game?"
"Sir, when some people downloaded the game, the virus affected their electronic devices. We got plenty of complaints. If the problem isn't resolved soon, we will face a huge loss," Atlas said to Blaze.
Blaze clenched his fist hearing that. Virusit meant someone was ruining Diva's game, once again.
"Make sure Diva doesn't learn about this. I will handle the problem," with that, Blaze cut the call.
Diva heard the last dialogue as she stepped into the bedroom. "Learn about what?"
Blaze was caught off-guard, not knowing what to answer to her. Should he tell her the truth? But he didn't want to hurt her. She would break down if something happened to 'Choc Hunters'.
He answered before going inside the washroom, "Nothing. Just some official matters."
She was getting more annoyed with the way Blaze was behaving. Sulking, Diva sat on the couch and talked with her grandma for a while. Once Blaze got out, Diva went inside the washroom to freshen up without talking to him.
Blaze plopped on the bed, thinking about how he could solve the new problem without upsetting Diva.
As soon as Diva got out after freshening up, she sighed and said with annoyance, "What is your fucking problem, Blaze? Why are you acting strange and what are you hiding from me?"
Thinking for a while with his lips twitched, he answered, "It's nothing. Just some official matters."
Stomping her foot in anger which was growing more, Diva took her recent emoticon pillow and was on her way towards the bedroom door. Her husband was watching her but didn't even stop her.
Soon she closed the door with a huge thud, bringing Blaze out of the trance. Realizing what had happened, he mumbled under his breath, "Shit. What the fuck did I do?"
Without wasting another split second, he got up from underneath the blankets and followed where Diva headed too. Now Blaze was standing in front of the door of Diva's old bedroom.
"Diva?" he called out to which he heard no response. "Diva, can you hear me?"
Blaze could see the lights illuminating in the bedroom because a few rays of light were coming from under the door. It meant Diva was awake and hearing Blaze fully.
"Diva, can you please open the door? I am sorry, baby."
Hearing no answer in return, he decided to give Diva some time to release her frustration. He knew his wife wouldn't open the door tonight and Blaze hated sleeping without Diva; he felt his bed empty the entire night.
___
"Diva, will you please talk to me for once? Your silence is killing me," Blaze let out, placing the fork on the plate roughly. He was getting irritated due to the silent treatment of his wife. It was unusual for Diva to stay quiet after all.
Not bothering to answer him, Diva got up from the chair and was about to walk away. Instantly Blaze grabbed her hand, pulling her towards his chiseled chest. When she tried to wriggle out of his grip, he cupped her cheeks.
"Diva, I am sorry. Tell me how I can make it up to you."
"Tell me what you are hiding, Blaze," at last Diva answered to which he sighed. "If you don't tell me then it's okay. I will seal my mouth." She tried to walk away once again.
"No, wait." Blaze grabbed her hand firmly. "Actually the game is having issues."
"What do you mean?" she spoke out.
Blaze placed his hands in his pocket. "Let's have a seat."
Blaze told the entire problem to Diva, assuring her that he would fix everything. After a few hesitations, Diva gave all the responsibilities to Blaze, knowing he would handle everything.
"Blaze, it's not only about the game for which I gave you the silent treatment. It was because I was upset that you were hiding something from me. Official matters or not. If you keep hiding things thinking it would hurt me, once I know that you hid something, I would get more hurt," Diva explained to Blaze, who seemed to understand her.
"You are right, Diva. I should have told you everything the first time you asked. I promise to never hide anything from you." Blaze placed a kiss on Diva's knuckles. "I love you."
Diva smiled at his confession and said, "I love you too."
