Chapter 18: Threats

While going back upstairs, Vera happened to see her stepfather at the front desk asking about something. Enoch soon devised a plan to seize the property when he learned that Vera's mother was ill and could die at any time. "Is your hospital like that, patients don't know where they go."

"Let's go to the patient's family."

"Hello. I'm Kai, the doctor in charge of treating patients in room 202."

"Where's my daughter? Bring her out here?"
