Chapter 55: Sleep with my lover

Feeling it was time to say goodbye, Kaylin told Vera.
"Then I'll be back, Vera." Next Kaylin looked at Egan and said hello: "Hello, Egan."
Egan remained silent, nodding slightly in response to Kaylin's words. "Yes, you two go home. Be careful on the road."
Kaylin then followed Eric towards the door.
Vera watched, suddenly remembering something, after considering it, she spoke up, causing the couple to stop.
"I think the two of you should stay. It's getting late, and besides, it looks like there's going to be some rain. It's very unsafe to walk in such a situation."
The three of them stared at Vera in unison, hearing her conjecture about a weather phenomenon. Vera didn't say anything strange, why do you look so horrible? Vera suddenly felt jittery at being screened from three sides.

"It's raining." Vera suddenly shouted, she was looking out of the house through the window. The other three also watched. Kaylin even stepped closer and opened the door to check if the rain was big or small.

"I heard toads croak." When asked, Vera sheepishly scratched her head, then replied innocently: "My mother said every time a toad called it would rain."
"Really?" Kaylin expressed sadness when she said: "I didn't hear its cry."
"You're just not paying attention, if you focus you'll listen." Vera has words of comfort for her friend.
"I really admire your listening, Vera, it's great." Kaylin returned cheerfully, praising Vera.
"Don't talk too much." Vera humbly said, "I find that downright trivial."
"No, I have to admit it's pretty cool." Kaylin continued flamboyantly: "Be confident, Vera, remember you also have a strong point."
"Thanks." Vera smiled gratefully, wanting to end their bland chatter.
"The rain seems to take a long time to stop." Eric looked out thoughtfully: "It's dangerous to travel long distances."
"Right." Egan concurs: "Can't move in weather like that."
"There's no other way, we'll have to spend the night here." The girl came to a decision: "What do you think, Eric?"
"It must be." Eric looked at his girlfriend and nodded in agreement: "We should make sure it's safe."
Kaylin smiled at her lover, then looked away from him, turning to face Vera: "Okay Vera, do you mind if I use your room for the night?"
"Of course, I don't mind." Vera happily said: "We can talk together."
"Then it's late, we should go back to our room." Kaylin walked over to Vera's arm. However, before the two could leave the living room, Egan's voice rang out, intending to disrupt the two girls' intentions.
"Vera will sleep in my room."
The affirmation was so firm that Vera lowered her head in shame, while Kaylin exclaimed in astonishment.
"What do you say?"
"As you heard. Vera will be sharing a room with me. Eric will share a room with you." Egan repeated impatiently.
"Why?" Kaylin wondered: "Who are you to have the right to arbitrarily arrange such arrangements? Even the landlord is not allowed to interfere beyond the limit in other people's affairs."
"I don't want to sleep with your boyfriend." Egan raised his voice and declared, "More than anything, what's wrong with me wanting to be with my woman?"
"What nonsense are you talking about? What's your woman?" Kaylin exclaimed, smirking at Egan. However, her smile suddenly faltered when she discovered something suspicious here.
"Hold on a second I just said... You two... What do you mean?" Kaylin suddenly became flustered leading to stammering.
"Vera is my girlfriend." Egan insisted again: "That's what you need to know. I want to be with Vera, that's something you can't stop."
Kaylin was amazed at the lesson. She stopped looking at Kaylin for lies. When she couldn't find anything, she turned to Vera. Vera's face was now as red as a boiled crab. That indirectly told Kaylin that what Egan said was the truth.
"Are you two really a couple?" Kaylin couldn't contain her emotions, the girl let it naturally manifest: "Oh my god, what the hell is going on?"
No one answered Kaylin, the three just kept silent and let Kaylin reveal everything in her own way.
"Is it true, Vera?"
At Kaylin's question, Vera just nodded in confession. Still unable to believe it, Kaylin quickly turned to Egan.
"Tell me the truth, this isn't a joke?"
"We just officially started dating a little while ago, if that's what you want to know about timing." Egan calmly answered the question: "And if you want to know how it happened, how to apologize, it's a personal matter, it's not convenient to share it with others. Even friends need it. insofar."

Egan got up and called Vera to come with him. Before the two could move, Kaylin's voice made them look back.

Realizing that Vera had a negative thought again, Egan resolutely suppressed it when he intervened:
"What have we done to you? Tell me." Egan frankly asked the question.

Egan laughed when he saw Eric's slightly embarrassed expression. Oh my god, suddenly hearing my girl eloquently claim ownership, it really feels very light.
Vera couldn't help Kaylin in this situation either. Vera herself felt embarrassed for Kaylin.
For her part, Kaylin realized what she said, and with the reactions of the two people in front of her, Kaylin turned to Eric and met Eric's hard-to-decipher eyes that made her suddenly embarrassed.
"You should thank me because thanks to me, someone dares to declare to the world that you are someone's boyfriend." Egan teased Eric. Still unable to return to normal, Eric decided to ignore Egan.
There was a sudden silence until Vera spoke up:
"Sorry, Kaylin. I didn't tell you about it sooner. I just needed Egan's consent to go public."
"I get it, I'm just surprised." Kaylin dejectedly complained: "I'm such an idiot, I don't know anything."
"It's not like that, Kaylin. I..."
"I was thinking of assigning you to Egan, but you two were already a couple." Kaylin's sudden confession surprised the other three at the same time.
"What, the person you want to introduce me to is..."
"That's right, that's him." Kaylin pointed her finger at Egan: "Oh, what a shame."
"Thank you, Kaylin. You took care of me." Vera smiled and hugged Kaylin and Kaylin happily returned the hug.
"Anyway, I'm happy for you two." Kaylin said sincerely: "If you have anything to say to me. Especially if he dares to bully you, I will help you punish him."
Vera smiled widely at Kaylin's public admonition.

"Okay, can we go back to bed?" Egan interrupted the two girls' conversation. If they continued to watch, perhaps the two girls would not separate, but continued talking.
"That's right, I feel tired too, I want to rest." Eric this time agreed with Egan.
"Then you two go to your room first." Kaylin had the words to dismiss the two men: "I want to talk to Vera more."

"Let's go back to our room. You two have something to talk about another day." Egan stepped forward, decisively pulling Vera away from Kaylin.
"I never expected you to be a possessive man," exclaimed Kaylin, making a frank remark about Egan.
"I'm just like that with Vera. I don't care what happens to others." Egan replied, then pulled Vera by the hand and followed him.
"Sorry Miss Kaylin. I think we'll continue another day..." Vera said apologetically to Kaylin.
"It's an okay girl, I hope you live with him." Kaylin made a mockery and Egan immediately attacked back.
"You should be more careful with your boyfriend than worrying about other people. Eric is extremely possessive."
"Also, you two don't make noises to disturb other people's sleep."
Kaylin was speechless. Kaylin was really pissed off by Egan.
Eric gently stroked his girlfriend's back: "That's how Egan is, he doesn't like to share."

"Didn't you see that Vera volunteered to follow Egan? There was no coercion." Eric explained to Kaylin: "Believe me, although Egan is possessive, he treats his important people very well. Once he loves Egan, he will love with all his heart."
"All right. I believe you." Kaylin sighed: "Let's sleep now. I'm tired too."
The two walked to Vera's room. And Vera, of course, was with Egan.
