Using that opportunity, Enoch tried to run upstairs but failed when the man quickly recovered, rushing to grab Enoch again. Another boy standing in the middle of the stairs looked down and saw that his comrades were fighting fiercely with Enoch, immediately he ran down to help his comrades.
Two-on-one Enoch fell to the weak, the old men would not give in. Enoch pushed one of them with all his might, then ran into the kitchen to get a knife from the shelf to defend.
The half-haired man chased after him, and the two sides continued to struggle fiercely until Enoch collapsed to the floor from a fatal stab wound.
Seeing Enoch bleeding profusely, the half-haired man was broken-hearted, frantic, not knowing what to do.
"You fool, you killed him." His accomplices shouted: "What are you doing standing there, hurry up or get caught by the police."
After saying that, the man quickly ran to the door, the half-haired man looked at Enoch in panic before his survival instinct was aroused, he turned and rushed out of the house.
The door slamming against the wall made a very annoying sound.
Upstairs, the noise jolted Lani from her nap. Feeling uncomfortable, she ran downstairs to see what was wrong. When she got to the stairs, Lani caught a glimpse of two thugs, who had been living in her house for more than a week, rushing out of the area of ​​the house as if running from being chased by ghosts.
I don't know why they are like that? Before Lani had time to step out the door, to check if they were really gone, a faint groan drew Lani's attention. She turned inside, walking slowly toward the kitchen. Her eyes wide with terror, Lani recoiled when she saw Enoch lying helpless on the floor, in a pool of blood.
"Oh my God." Lani cried out, covering her mouth with her hand. When consciousness awakened, Lani immediately reacted appropriately to the situation.
"Father," Lani yelled, running to him. Lani knelt on the floor, reaching out to check on Enoch's condition: "Are you okay? Why is there blood?"
Lani looked at Enoch's stomach, where the knife was still deeply embedded. Lani wanted to reach out and pull it out but didn't have the courage.
"Lani, daddy's daughter." Enoch's voice was low, and he reached out to touch his daughter. Seeing that, Lani took her father's hand as encouragement.
"What happened, father?" With tears in her eyes, Lani asked Enoch: "Why are you in such a mess? Who did this to you?"
"Lani." Enoch kept calling her daughter's name. It seems to be a very normal thing to do when a person stands between the boundary of life and death. Enoch was now dreamy, he only wanted to see the face of his only relative, which was his daughter.
"It's those bastards, right? Answer me." Lani asked in a trembling voice, tears blurring Lani's vision.
