Chapter 38: Stubborn Egan

Seeing Egan's disappointment, Kaylin didn't know what else to do to help him other than offer encouragement.

"Yeah." Kaylin then raised an eyebrow in suspicion at Egan's confused expression.
"Don't say you didn't prepare breakfast." Kaylin conjectured, and Egan remained silent without rebutting. That led the doctor to believe she was right. Unable to control her emotions, Kaylin loudly scolded:
"Do you know you're a patient? If you still disregard your health, your life. I'll take you back to the hospital."
Kaylin got so angry, Egan really pissed her off. Kaylin had warned time and time again that Egan had to pay attention to his health, but Egan kept forgetting. Or rather, Egan abandoned herself and gave all her attention and attention to Vera. That's not wrong, but it's hard to accept. Seeing that Kaylin was silent at the question. The doctor looked like he was waiting for Eric to reveal his secret. Eric continued to speak in a voice that was proud of himself.
"I'm alone, so I can do these cooking things. Even do it very well. So you can rest assured, belief in my talent. I will definitely become an effective player. for you."
After saying that, Eric pinched his girlfriend's cheek: "Don't look at me like that forever, hurry up and get to work."
"I still have doubts," Kaylin spoke up when she saw Eric had grabbed the knife lying on the shelf.

"How do you feel? Are you secretly praising me?" Eric turned to tease the female doctor.
"Don't be so subtle." Kaylin pouted, making Eric unable to control his desire. He walked over and cupped Kaylin's face and gently tilted his head towards the girl. It would have been a sweet kiss if Egan hadn't appeared at the kitchen door.
Egan didn't really know he'd come at the wrong time, but there was no way he could help, he didn't want to delay in filling Vera's stomach. So let Egan be selfish.
Egan cleared his throat, calling for attention. The startled couple separated from each other, they shyly looked at each other, blushing slightly embarrassed.

"Ignore him." Eric said: "Egan said in a moment it was like he would eat later. Don't worry."
