Chapter 32
Third Person’s Point of view
Logan hurried to the Tarragon Kingdom, but he was greeted by a guard at the entrance of Buckingham palace and handed him the horse he would use to go into battle. Hadrian was also provided with a bodyguard. They didn't want to waste any more time and departed. They hurried directly to Tarragon because they couldn't stand the thought of Augustus still leaving his life, like nothing had happened. When Elle told him what Augustus had done to her, he couldn't get Elle's expression out of his head.
Logan only refrained from being enraged because he was concerned that Elle would be terrified. He didn't want to show Elle his flaws since he knew it would make her feel uncomfortable. Logan's stern expression could hardly be hidden as he made his way towards Augustus. The fact that Augustus is already prepared for a prospective assault by Logan is something that he is unaware of. Not only had he planned ahead of time, but he also had a male companion with him.
[Palace of Tarragon]
That mysterious character that no one expected to turn up again. Augustus couldn't help but grin as far as the eye could see since he realized who was with him at the moment and knew it would cause Logan distress. He looked at the sleeping man while his appearance was no different from his past image. He couldn't wait for Elle to see who he had brought with him.
When Logan arrived at the Tarragon region, it was the middle of the night. The moment he dismounted from his horse, a guard approached him and asked him a question. Logan, on the other hand, pulled his sword and sliced the guy in front of him before the guard could open his lips. The other guard took a step back in response to what he did.
In order to report who had arrived, the guard would have withdrawn and fled. However, when Hadrian sprang from the horse he was riding and slaughtered the others so they were unable to do so.
He gave way to Logan.
The other troops who were with them surged forward as well. The fire-carrying soldiers were hurled all over the palace of Tarragon in an attempt to spread the blaze as rapidly as possible.
Everyone was taken aback since Augustus had not anticipated Logan's start to be so abrupt. He was under the impression that Logan would just kick him and challenge him to a fight. But he didn't believe Logan was serious about removing the Tarragon castle and the Lone pack from the map, as he had suspected.
"You all should be ready!" Augustus rushed over to the sleeping guy and roused him. Because even he is terrified of what he may be subjected to by the sleeping guy, he avoids doing anything that would cause him to be disturbed as much as possible.
“Nerus! The one who abducted your lover is here! Won't you do anything?"
The guy awoke from his deep slumber as a result of what Augustus stated, and he immediately got to his feet. He maintained a solemn expression, while Augustus's eyes widened unnaturally. Since he was unsure of what he was going to do next, he took a few steps back and gestured outdoors.
"He's right there! He came here to murder you so that you would be unable to reclaim Elle from his hands." A shiver ran down Augustus's spine as the guy stepped over and peered in the direction he was pointing. Augustus is concerned that the guy who is now with him will discover what he did wrong to Elle.
Augustus turned his gaze back to the guy who was now staring at him intently. It seemed to him like he was trying to figure out whether Augustus was speaking the truth by looking at his facial expression. With Augustus's face lit up when the guy corroborated his words, there was no question in his mind. He then stepped up to the bed and pulled out his sword.
After walking and jumping down from the second floor, they came face to face with Logan, who was completely unaware of the plot twist that Augustus was attempting to implement on him.
When Logan gets just in front of the palace entrance, a guy stops in front of him and Logan's eyes brighten as he realizes who he is dealing to.
He was flabbergasted and let go of his sword.
