Chapter 46
Third Person’s Point of view
The lady then turns around and walks away.
In between sighing, Logan brushes his hair with his fingers.
"Are you all right?" Elle wonders aloud as she pats his shoulder.
"I had no clue those folks come here to annoy me with their stupid stuff, and I have no idea why something happened like this," Logan stated worriedly, as if he was apprehensive about Elle's response to his foolishness.
Logan's feet automatically rose to his feet, prompting Elle to wonder.
"Can you tell me where you're going?"
"I'll go to the two dukes and check about Nerus, and then I'll go to Urla and Caius and demand as to why they've come to this place."
Elle took Logan's hand in hers and squeezed it tightly. Logan took a peek at it and kissed Elle's lower backhand.
"I'll take care of it. I don't want anybody else to be with me but you at this time. If they continue to trouble you, I shall request that the soldier expel them from the palace."
Elle gave him a dejected smile because she doesn't want Logan to behave in this manner around her.
Elle feels depressed not because of what Logan said or because of the announcement made by the lady. She doesn't give a damn about all of it; she's afraid because she doesn't want to be the one who brings Logan to his demise. Logan tries more than anybody else to achieve his goals. She didn't want to lose Logan for what he had fought so hard for.
Logan's entrance into Urla and Caius's chamber was both large and swift. When he banged open a flimsy door, the sound of its opening could be heard.
He wasn't shocked to find two sex slaves having sex with Caius, but he couldn't see Urla. Caius was laying down with a woman sitting on top of him and the other woman kissing him on the lips.
The two ladies swiftly rose to their feet and changed into their clothing before walking to the side of the wall. Caius asked them to leave the premises. He, too, put on his clothes and came to his feet.
"What is going on?" He played with his muscles and arms.
"I'm not going to pardon myself for showing up here unexpectedly and interfering with your work. Nonetheless, I'm interested in knowing what you and Urla had discussed with Elle." Logan is unable to stop himself.
Caius chuckled as if Santa Clause's voice were in his head, but then he turned serious "Isn't it wonderful? You will not be required to locate a mate to serve as your empress. The chicken itself is making its way towards the rice field. And, as a last point, it would be a fantastic chance to further expand our both empire."
Logan was completely baffled by what Caius was saying. He believed that they had more important things to do than annoy Elle. Logan flashed a sly grin. "The reason you're troubling Elle is because you want Urla to take over as Veronica's substitute, right?"
Caius' pupils dilated.
“Ignorant and delusional indeed.”
Caius could not speak because he realized that what Logan’s words and question to him is not about Urla wanting to be the second empress nor Urla’s desire about Caius being the next Lycan King.
Logan did not wait anymore and already asked the guards to get them and kick them out of this palace.
When Logan came back to Elle's chamber, Elle realize that soonest everyone will seek an empress with a good capability. And she knows that she is not the one they are looking for.
After that day happened. Everything went smoothly again.
