Chapter 59
Elle Point of view
As soon as he called my name, I sprung to my feet. "... H-How did you get my name?" I questioned. I backed away from him, my face showing that I was terrified of him. I, too, refused to take his hand in mine.
He stared at me as he dropped his hand to his side. Everything about the way he stares at me seems familiar. However, I am unable to recall where I saw them. Aside from the witch's castle, I don't have anywhere else to go but this garden to relax.
His lips would have been just about to open when he realized he couldn't go on because of the booming voice that summoned me.
“Elle! Where are you? Go home because this place is dangerous for you! As soon as I heard Archer's voice, I hastily slid the stuff back into the basket I was carrying. It's better to simply go than to be here with this strange person.
But he interrupted me just as I was about to walk away. "Please, come back here tomorrow."
I didn't respond to him anymore and instead rushed away from him. Archer was on the lookout for me, which I noticed. Since I've been with Archer from the beginning, I've only noticed a few things about him. He never had the ability to transform into a wolf. He doesn't have a very keen sense of smell, either, unfortunately. I'm not sure why he refers to me as mate since I believe he isn't really a wolf. Despite the fact that I wanted to question him, someone advised me against it.
"Archer!" He was surprised when he saw me and he quickly ran towards me. He claimed to be my mate, but given the fact that we were in the same location, he couldn't even smell me. Because I am his mate, he must feel a strong sensation of my presence.
“Elle! I've been looking for you since earlier. All you have to do is tell me that you merely want to go to the garden, and I'll gladly accompany you there."
I also noted that he seemed to be hiding something because he did not want me to be alone while I was leaving the palace.
I just nodded, and he didn't say anything back. For my own safety, I didn't tell him that a guy had approached me earlier since I knew he would get enraged and I wouldn't be able to go out for the rest of the period.
Logan’s Point of view
I caught a glimpse of her strolling with Archer as Archer reached for the basket she was carrying. They were chatting to each other while I was simply standing here observing them. I never imagined myself having to wait this long for her. I can see her, yet I am unable to reach out and touch her. I wanted to touch her hand and tell her how much I missed her after such a long time, but seeing her eyes questioning my heart made me feel like I was about to be crushed.
I wouldn't have realized she was here if it hadn't been for Yora's introduction. Everything Urla claimed was completely ineffective in locating her.
Yora took the initiative and introduced herself. She goes to the palace and claims to know where Elle has gone missing. She, on the other hand, desired a succession. A place in the palace was something she desired. Elle will be shown to me once again by her. If all she wanted was power and a spot in the palace, I could simply provide her with her wishes, and I wouldn't have to bother with hre any longer. Because her power is medicinal, I am confident in her good intentions. Even if she continues to plot while I am away from the palace, she will fail because her sort of authority is inherently insufficient.
I had already laid down in Elle's spot and was reading the book she was carrying earlier. Because we are both going through the same thing at the same time, it seems like fate has placed me in the story. I really want to take Elle home with me.
"Your Majesty! Your Majesty! Aren't you planning on going yet?" Gaia was the one who asked. She accompanied me since she said that she wanted to meet Elle as well, but sadly, Archer snatched her once again. I'm just hoping she'll show up again tomorrow.
"Gaia, please construct a large cabin at this place."
Elle's Point of view
I was alone in my room and simply stood there staring out the window. Despite the fact that Archer insists we are a pair, I never sleep close to him. Even though we are still together, nothing is developing between us since I have no feelings for him at all. I requested additional time from him, and I was relieved that he did not push me to do so.
No matter what hour it is, I don't want to go to sleep initially since I was thinking about the man earlier on. Is he still on the premises? I'm not sure what I was thinking as I suddenly started walking towards the door.
The sight of Yora standing at the door had me on the verge of a nervous breakdown as I opened the door.
"What are your plans? "Do you have any idea what time it is?" She cocked her brow at me.
I hurriedly covered her lips and searched the area to see if anybody else could hear her. I exhaled a sigh of relief since Archer's hearing was impaired in some way.
"Yora, I'd like to return to the garden."
"What are you going to do there?"
"I'm not sure; all I want to do is see the man I met before." I bent my head, certain that she would not allow me to continue. I was about to enter the room when her hand began to glow.
My eyes widened as I saw a magical creature that looked just like me and proceeded directly to my bed.
"You may leave. However, the moon is full, werewolves and lycans are mating, and they may eat you."
