Chapter 63

Third Person’s Point of view

"Elle, how come it's already morning and you haven't gotten out of bed?" The door of Elle's bedroom was greeted by a beaming Archer. But what he didn't realize was that Elle had been unable to return home. When the lady did not respond, he attempted to open the door, and was shocked to find that it had opened on its own.

When he entered the room, there was someone lying on the bed while wrapped in a blanket. Archer had an epiphany and realized what was going on. Because there was a full moon last night, it is impossible for Elle to be affected by it because it is still unclear if she is still in beta or an Alpha female. According to what Yora has revealed, it seems that Elle has finally achieved the status of an Alpha female. However, Archer questions if Elle should be impacted by the full moon since only Alpha males are the only one influenced by the full moon. He didn't get a good look at Elle last night since he was trying to keep his emotions under control. Even though he was already in Nerus' body, the fact that he was a werewolf remained a part of his identity.

Getting increasingly closer to Elle was Archer's goal. It seemed that something was wrong today, despite his desire to avoid waking Elle. Elle doesn't usually get up at noon because she wants to; instead, she departs as soon as she wakes up in the morning to read a book or go for a stroll down the river on her own.

When Archer lifted Elle's blanket, he saw the lady laying on her bed, looking delectable. But even when Archer notices this, he is perplexed as to why he is still on the fence. However, he had become frustrated with himself for not sensing Elle's wolfish aura until now. Before, he would have been able to know exactly where Elle was, but now that Nerus has taken refuge in his body, the only thing he has is great strength. Archer is well conscious that it is just a matter of time until Elle discovers that his wolf is no longer residing in his body.

The fact that he was unable to feel anything when he gripped Elle's arm so that he could turn her to him caught him by surprise. He was under the impression that Elle had died, but as the corpse came face to face with him, it vanished like ash.

"Elle!" Because of what he had seen, Archer couldn't keep his nerves under control. He wanted to be upset, but as he looked at the traces on the bed, he concluded that it was all a trick of the light. He took it out of the bed and examined it carefully.

Shattered magic is purple, and he knows of just one other person who has purple magic. Yora's magic is distinct from the magic of other witches. Witches’ magic is often dark or black, but the Yora's are usually purple.Yora's power is clear, and Archer is unable to determine if Yora's magic is for evil or for good.

He gripped his palm in his and marched out the door.

"Yora!" Yora and the other witches were dining in the hall when he yelled, and his voice resounded throughout the hall.

The Witchers are not eating their foods in the hall; Yora is the only witcher present at the table eating. Witchers consider themselves to be of high rank, and as such, they are unable to interact with werewolves, lycans, or regular witches. They consider themselves to be the second God. Yora, on the other hand, is a different story. Yora gave each creature the same amount of attention.

Yora sipped her tea from a cup she held in her hand. It seemed as if she didn't understand why Archer was searching for her, and she looked at Archer as if she was confused. When she noticed Archer coming down the stairs, she had already taken the cup's lip out of her lips and placed it in her hand.. He grasped the bottom of the cup with her palm and clutched it tight with it.

"In the castle I own, it's too early to start yelling and screaming. Some of my witches could feel uncomfortable."

She was about to put the cup back in her mouth but she couldn't because Archer sprayed the magic ash in his hand on her. A witch who was there at the meal instantly put the protection, ensuring that the magic ash did not reach her. The witches of doom gazed at him with their terrible eyes.

"My... My... My... Is that my way of saying good morning?" Yora eventually managed to place the cup on the table and then released the magic circle, for which Archer had no idea what it was for. But, instead of asking Yora, he just kept on.

"Where did you take Elle?"

"It seems that you are accusing me of kidnapping Elle. Why would I do anything like that? You know I don't want to order or take anything from a living creature if I know it would be harmful to them. Aren't you and your mate on the same page? How come you don't know where she is?" Yora's tone changed to snarky.

"Get Elle out of there as soon as possible!" Archer screamed again again, this time shattering the eardrums. He had planned to flip the table over, but with a free hand from Yora, she was able to discharge magic once more to prevent Archer's hand from being forced back.

"Take it easy. I don't want to demolish this fortress." Yora gave him a kind grin, which made Archer's fury boil even more. Yora's gaze was drawn to the magic orb in her fingers, and Archer's gaze was drawn to it as well.

As he continued to gaze at it, the picture of Elle began to emerge.

Archer fell silent when he heard Elle’s request to Yora. He doesn't know what to say because he is thinking that his efforts turned into waste.

“Now, tell me; was it my fault?”
