CHAPTER 24

Ethan turned to face Brandon with a smirk on his face. Ethan punched Brandon and he fainted. "What a waste." Ethan said and went out of the house. Andrew threw Brandon over his shoulder and he also started walking towards the door, Calla followed him behind. As they exited the house they saw Camelia fighting Ethan. Andrew tossed Brandon into his truck and pulled out a small pouch from his truck. He fished out a small green bottle from that pouch. Andrew growled and Ethan knelt down on the ground. Andrew threw the small bottle on Camelia. As the bottle shredded, Calla saw green clouds around Camelia. She coughed for a few times then fell on the ground and fainted. Ethan and Andrew fist bumped each other over their success.

"We need to leave before we get caught." Calla said.

"We can't go to your house, neither of our houses. We need to take them somewhere else." Ethan said.

"But where?" Andrew asked.

"There is only one place in this world that is safe for us when it comes to Brandon and Camelia. We have to go to Ashley. He's the only one who can control them both and hide them." Ethan explained.

"Then get in, we need to go." Andrew said. Ethan and Calla both hopped into the truck, Andrew started the engine and drove off. A yawn escaped Calla's lips and Ethan chuckled.

"Are you tired?" Ethan asked and Calla nodded her head. "Okay, close your eyes. I'll wake you up when we'll reach Ashley's castle." Ethan said and pecked her forehead.

"Castle?" Calla asked Ethan with widened eyes.

"Yes castle." Ethan replied with a wink.

"Ashley isn't like these two Calla. He is very strong and he has his own kingdom. We are going there. You'll see how Royal your ancestors are actually." Andrew replied with a grin on his face.

"I can't wait to see it then." Calla said and leaned her head over Ethan's shoulder. He quickly wrapped one of his arms around her and pulled her close. She inhaled his masculine scent deeply and drifted off.


Calla opened her eyes again and found herself in Ethan's arms. He carried her bridal style and was walking. "You can sleep Calla." Ethan said as he noticed her waking up. She wrapped her arms around his neck and snuggled even closer to him. Ethan chuckled and kept walking. He laid her down on a comfy bed and covered her body with the comforter. He pecked her forehead and was about to leave her when she grabbed his wrist and pulled him closer.

"You don't want me to leave?" Ethan asked and Calla just nodded her head. Ethan laid beside her and pulled her closer. She quickly wrapped her arms around his waist and inhaled his masculine scent deeply. It wasn't long when she was in her dream land.

"Master, your friend Master Ethan is here with Andrew." Bruce, Ashley's turned vampire came into Ashley's room and informed his master about his visitors.

"Ethan is here? He didn't tell me about his visit." Ashley said with frownd brows.

"They are not here alone Master. They brought your siblings as well. And I saw a very pretty lady with them too. Master Ethan was holding her like she's someone so precious or fragile like a flower." Bruce explained to his Master.

"Ethan, with a girl. That's something impossible Bruce. Let me see what brought them both here together and that too with my evil siblings?" Ashley said as he got up from the couch and went to the door. He exited the room with Bruce right behind him. Bruce told him Where his guests were and left. Ashley reached in front of the room that was always used by Ethan whenever he visited Ashley's territory. Ashley knocked at the door and waited for Ethan to reply.

"Come in Ash, since when you needed my permission to enter my room." Ethan said it all in one breath as the scent of his most dear friend and his Master's first born, hit his nostrils.

"I was informed that you brought a lady here. I thought it's better to knock. Maybe you are busy with your precious little human you brought here. I don't remember you with any woman in the five hundred and twenty years we have spent together my friend." Ashley explained.


"You'll keep talking like that, aren't you going to welcome me like you always do." Ethan complained and opened his arms wide for his friend. Ashley walked towards him and pulled him in a brother hug. They both patted each other's backs.

"It has been so long since I saw you last time." Ashley said.

"I know, I was occupied with something very important." Ethan replied.

"Is this mortal the one who kept you occupied for the last 26 years my friend?" Ashley asked.

"Yes, and don't call her little human or mortal. She has a name." Ethan replied.

"What's her name then? I can see she is very precious to you." Ashley asked.

"Calla, her name is Calla. And yes, she is precious. She's my everything." Ethan replied.

"Why does she smell so familiar to me?" Ashley asked with frowned brows.

"Why wouldn't she? Your blood is running through her veins." Ethan replied and Ashley became more confused.

"What do you mean by my blood in her veins?" Ashley asked.

"Come and see for yourself, what did I mean." Ethan said and guided his friend towards the bed where Calla was sleeping peacefully. Ashley looked at her and his eyes widened in shock. It was like he was looking at his dead mother.

"Who is she Ethan?" Ashley asked.

"She's Sophie's child, the one I was bound with by Master Dalton." Ethan replied.

"She is exactly like our mother." Ashley said with teary eyes.

"She is, not just by looks but by her heart, soul and bravery as well." Ethan replied in a proud tone.

"Why didn't you tell me about her?" Ashley complained.

"Believe me brother it wanted to tell you but she never let me." Ethan said in a teasing tone.

"What does that suppose to mean?" Ashley asked with a raised brow.

"I had to keep my eyes on her every single second. Because she always gets herself in trouble and needs my help to get her out of it." Ethan replied and started laughing hysterically.

"Don't you get started over her okay. That was a long time ago." Ashley replied in an annoyed tone and scratched the back of his head.

"I am not getting started brother. I am just telling you that she is nothing less like you. Do you know, she had made Brandon fall on his knees today." Ethan said with a loud chuckle when he remembered how Calla kicked Brandon in his stomach.

"She, a human, made Brandon fall on his knees. I don't believe you." Ashley said, not believing Ethan's words.

"Trust me brother, she fought him like a hawk. Brandon was laying on the ground in no time." Ethan explained.

"He attacked her?" Ashley asked in a serious tone.

Ethan sighed and forced a smile on his face. "Yeah he did. In fact she is the one who got us out. I have no idea how he trapped us? I mean, Andrew getting trapped in something like that baby spell is understandable, but I don't understand how I could get trapped inside?" Ethan replied with a frown on his forehead.


"Oh my God, it's happening to him. She is in love with him." Ashley thought with a horrified look on his face.
