CHAPTER 32

(WARNING… THIS CHAPTER CONTAINS VIOLENT SCENES THAT COULD BE DISTURBING FOR SOME READERS.)

"Now I will take her right in front of you." Draco whispered in Ethan's ear and pulled himself off of him. He turned around and Calla kneed him between his legs, as hard as she could. But it didn't affect him at all. He smirked widely and grabbed Calla by her neck. He scooped her in his arms and threw her on the table near them. He hovered over her, pinned her on the surface of the table.

"Ethan…" she screamed loudly and tried to push Draco off of her body but he was too strong for her. She freed one of her hands from his hold and scratched his cheek. He gritted his teeth as the blood pooled out of the wounds she had given him. He slapped her cheek hard and she spitted blood out of her mouth. He grabbed her hand again and started leaning in.

"Don't worry, I would love to taste your blood…" Draco said. Before his lips could touch Calla's lips, they heard an ear piercing growl. He turned around and found Ethan standing. The blood was still pooling out of his wounds. His eyes were pitch black and his fangs and claws were bigger than usual. The veins across his temples were bulging. Draco hopped off of Calla's body and attacked Ethan once again. But this time, Ethan was fast enough. He clawed Draco's chest deeply then punched his stomach. Draco went flying and fell on the ground with a loud thud. In a flash, Ethan was standing beside him. Ethan grabbed his neck and held him high from the ground. He slammed Draco on the ground and started tearing his flesh apart. Calla screamed loudly as she saw a monster in front of her. She clapped her both hands on her mouth and ran away. Ethan looked back and found Calla running away. He smiled and with one last swing, he ripped Draco's throat out. He enjoyed seeing Draco's soul leaving his body painfully.

He stood up and sniffed the air. He smiled as he caught Calla's sweet berries scent and started following it. Calla was hiding in a room, she locked herself and sobbed quietly. She could hear the screams coming from outside. He was killing everything that was coming in his way. Like he wasn't himself. Like he was a monster who knows to kill only. Calla's gaze fell on a mirror in front of her. She looked at her reflection in the mirror. It was her but her clothes were changed. "Don't be scared, Calla. You know me, don't you." The reflection asked Calla and she remembered the picture Ethan showed her. It was Lilly.

"You need to help me. He is killing everything. You have to tell Grandpa Ashley." Calla pleaded between her sobs.

"Ashley would come here but Ethan will kill him as well, Calla. Draco has awakened his monster. Now that monster will kill anything that will come between him and you." Lilly replied. Calla sat on the ground and hugged her knees.

"I know Calla. You are scared. And it's okay to be scared. I know what you have witnessed, will become a nightmare for you. But trust me Calla, you are the only one who can stop him. He is bleeding too much. He doesn't have much time. He will die soon if you won't help him." Lilly said.

"How can I help him? He is strong, he is fast and now he is a monster who is killing everything." Calla replied between her sobs.

"Calla, do you remember those times when Ethan had saved your life? There were so many times when he saved your life while putting his own life in danger. I know you are scared, I would be as well. But let me tell you one thing, nothing could stop him but you. Calla that monster was asleep for years. Ethan can't put him back to sleep, you need to do that for him, like you did before. You have to help him." Lilly replied. Calla remembered their time together, how he had protected her, loved her, cared for her. It was her time to do the same for him. Calla wiped her tears and stood up again. She stepped closer to the mirror and took a deep breath.

"Tell me what I need to do?" Calla asked and Lilly smiled.

"Nothing much, you see those shredded pieces of glass. Pick one and make a small cut on your neck. Just for your blood to pool out a little. You have to get that locket off of your neck that Sophie gifted you. That pendant is protecting you from Ethan and keeping him away from you. Pull it out and put it aside. Make a small cut on your neck and lay down on the bed. Let him come to you." Lilly explained.

"He will kill me." Calla replied and shivered in fear.

"He won't kill you Calla. Trust me. He loves you more than you can imagine. Now trust me and do as I say. He will drink your blood, enough to get back into his senses." Lilly replied back.

"Okay. I guess I need to trust him and his love for me." Calla said and took a deep breath. She took off the pendant and put it aside. She picked a shredded piece of glass, laid down on the bed and made a small cut on her neck. She felt a sharp pain and blood started dripping out of her wound. In a few seconds, Ethan broke the door and in a flash he was over her body. He opened his mouth wide and leaned in. Calla screamed loudly as Ethan dug his fangs into her neck. He started drinking her blood.

"That's it Calla. Stay calm. He won't hurt you, he just needs blood." Calla heard Lilly saying. Calla closed her eyes because of the pain. She then opened them again to see Ethan. Ethan pulled his fangs out of her neck and Calla saw his eyes turned back blue. With wide eyes, he looked at Calla who was still wounded. He quickly grabbed her wrists and pinned her on the bed. He leaned in and licked her wounds. He did that out of blue, then he realized it never worked for Calla. He crawled off of the bed, put her pendant back on her neck, scooped her in his arms and carried her bridal style. He was about to exit the room when he noticed her wounds were now sealed, like that weren't there at all. Ethan sighed in relief. She was healed. He kissed her forehead and held her tightly. He stepped out of the room and looked at that chaos he had made. Torn apart bodies, blood and bones everywhere. Ethan couldn't believe he had done this all. He looked at the door of the castle and found Dalton standing there. He laid Calla gently on a couch and knelt down on the ground in shame.

"What's the matter boy? Why do I see shame in your eyes?" Dalton asked.

"Because of what I have done. I am a monster, Master." Ethan replied in a disappointed tone as tears started flowing freely from his blue eyes.

"No my boy, if you wouldn't have done that, he would have killed you. He wanted her, you saved her. But we are not done here. You will find something in the basement, go and get it." Dalton replied and patted his shoulder. Ethan got up and turned towards the staircase.

"Remember, ask them everything then kill them all. You have to keep the promise you have made to Calla." Dalton said and vanished. Ethan nodded his head, looked at his angel and zoomed towards the basement of that castle.
