Dalton.

KEV'S POV:-

It's been a few days since we visited the graveyard. I was noticing my girlfriend Natasha. She was getting angrier by every passing day. I was starting to get worried about her. She wasn't just angry, she was also hungry all the time. I wasn't sure what was wrong with her. My friends also had noticed the same difference in her behavior. My girlfriend was the most romantic person in this world. But I had noticed, she didn't even like my touches. I wasn't even allowed to step into her room anymore.

I had heard her having sex with someone so many times. Whenever I asked her about it, she either brushed it off or denied me. One day, she went out and we all friends decided to talk about her. They all had been keeping eyes on her since I started to get suspicious. I knew something was wrong because my Natasha was never a cheater. "What are you thinking, Kev? We need to do something." Johnny asked me in a worried tone. We all were sitting in the living room.

"I don't know man, I am still working on it. I know nothing, what is going on with her. She doesn't even share anything with me." I replied.

It was almost dusk and Natasha wasn't home. Including me, all my friends were starting to get worried. She wasn't picking up her phone. We heard a loud knock on our door. I stood up and opened the door. I saw a strange man, standing at our door with a woman. "Where is she?" The man asked. I gave them both a confused look.

"He's talking about Natasha." The woman said.

"Okay, who are you and how do you know Natasha?" I asked in an angry tone.

"That's not important now. Saving her life is more important for us than explaining to you, how do we know her." She replied.

"What do you mean by saving her life?" I asked with a horror look on my face.

"Will you tell us where is she? Or you prefer her to be dead like the others?" This time, the strange man asked in an angry tone.

"She isn't home. She went out but didn't come back." I replied.

"Shit, that's not good." He said and they both ran towards the car that was parked in front of our house.

"Wait, I'll come with you." I said.

"You all have to come with us. Get your friends and meet us at the tree of the dead." He said and they drove off. I went back inside and told everyone. They all thought that it would be a trick. But I still convinced them to come with me.

We parked our cars at the gates of the graveyard. I ran into the direction where I remembered I saw the tree of the dead. We reached the tree but the strangers were nowhere to be found. "See, I told you it's nothing." Andy said.

"Are you sure?" I heard a man. We all turned around and found that strange man again.

"Tell me, where is Natasha? What have you done to her?" I asked in an angry tone. He didn't answer us but pointed his finger at the sky. We all looked up and found Natasha hanging in the air. Like somebody had tied her with the tree. We all tried to run and help her but the strange man stopped us.

"My name is Ethan, she is Calla. We are here to help." They finally replied.

"We didn't ask your names. Why did you tie her there?" Andy yelled at them.

"We? We didn't do anything. You all did. You all are responsible for her state." Calla yelled at us all.

"What do you mean? Why would we hurt her?" Sarah replied.

"Ah… brought me so many treats. But I just want her. The innocents are yummy." We all heard a voice. It sounded like a demon talking to us.

"Kev, save me please. I don't wanna die here." I heard Natasha. I looked up. She was crying.

"Leave her alone Azmar. Or you will regret it." Ethan said in an angry tone. We heard someone laughing. We turned around and found a man standing in front of the tree. He was very tall. His eyes were pitch black.

"You must be a fool to interfere in my business. You don't know what I can do to you." That man said to Ethan.

"Let her go Azmar. I will kill you in a less painful way." Ethan threatened him. Azmar gritted his teeth and lunged himself at Ethan. Ethan was trying hard to fight that demon but Azmar was more powerful than Ethan.

"In a minute, she will be sacrificed and you won't be able to do anything." Azmar said. He grabbed Ethan by his neck and choked him. Ethan tried to kick him off but Ethan's kicks did nothing to Azmar.

"Not on my watch." Calla yelled loudly and injected something on Azmar's back. He stood up and towered over Calla. But before he could even touch Calla, Ethan decapitated him. "My blood always works." She added.

"That's how we sacrifice." Ethan said with a smirk. He then handed his sword to Calla. In a flash, he climbed up on the tree and freed Natasha. He scooped her up in his arms and jumped down. As soon as he was in the ground, Calla made a small cut on the palm and let her blood drop on the ground. Then she raised the sword and stabbed it into the tree. The tree started burning. In a few seconds, the tree of the dead turned into ashes.

"It was your fault she got herself into that trouble. You just did it for fun. The night you all were in that graveyard, Azmar had possessed her. I am glad that we were here on time and saved her." Ethan said. We were at our home. Natasha was sleeping in her room. It was like she was sleeping after a long time. She was holding my hand tightly. Calla was searching something in the house. We told her that it ain't our own house but Ethan said, "she knows what she is doing."

"Found it. Ready to go back?" Calla came into Natasha's room with an envelope in her hand.

"Where did you find it?" I asked out of curiosity.

"It was in a lamp that is hanging at the door." She replied and shrugged her shoulders.

"Thank you both. If it wasn't for you, we all would have lost our friend." Sarah thanked them both.

"It's okay. We just did what we were told. Be careful and stay away from the graveyards after dusk." Calla replied with a smile. I nodded my head. They both bid their goodbyes and left.
