CHAPTER 41

"Well done my kids. You have now found the fourth letter. I want you both to go and meet one of the greatest vampires I have known in my life. Chris, you remember him, Ethan? He will be a father soon but he would lose everything if you wouldn't help him. His rival, Merlin wants to take everything away from him. He will kill his children and his wife. If Chris loses his mate and his family, he would become a devil and you would have to kill him. Save his family. You'll find the next letter if you save Celia and her kids. Good luck.

Celia’s pov



Today, Chris and I were so excited to know the gender of our baby. It was one of the happiest moments in our life.



We waited for the doctor anxiously to say something. “Wow! You’re not having only one baby, you’re having twins. A baby boy and the other is a baby girl." She said happily. She was happy that her Alpha and Luna were having babies.



My eyes teared up and I looked at Chris who had happy tears trickling down his cheeks.



The doctor walked out to give us a moment alone. He hugged me and said, "Thank you for everything!” I smiled and caressed his back.



“Thank you too. You always know how to make me the happiest person in this world.” I wiped his tears away with my thumb.

I heard a knock on the door, I opened and found a stranger standing. I smiled. "Do you need anything?" I asked the strange man. He looked down at my baby bump and smirked darkly. I shivered seeing his dark smirk.


"Celia, how many times do I have to tell you, do not open…" Chris came from behind but he didn't complete his sentence.


"Why are you here Merlin?" He asked the stranger.


"You thought I would forget everything you have done. Now it's pay back time." Merlin said and took a step towards me. I tried to move away but I was frozen. Like I couldn't move at all.


"Chris, I can't move." I said as tears started flowing freely from my eyes.


"I didn't do anything to you. You lost your place because of your foolishness. Now stay away from my mate." Chris replied.


"My foolishness or your greediness. You are the most greedy and opportunist person I have ever seen in my life." Merlin replied. Now he was standing right in front of me. He put his hands on my baby bump and I shivered again. I saw his claws and fangs grew bigger.


"Hands off." I heard a woman screamed loudly behind Merlin. Before I could understand what was going on, that woman sliced both of Merlin's hands. He growled loudly because of the pain. She stripped off her coat and covered my baby bump with it. Merlin stood up but before he could do anything, I saw a hand passed through Merlin's chest, ripping his heart out of his chest. I screamed loudly but that woman hugged me. She rubbed my back. The way she hugged me, it made me feel like I have known her for ages.


"Shhh… you are fine. I won't let anything happen to your kiddos." She whispered in my ear.


"Throw him out Ethan, or burn him. It's not good for both babies and their mother." That woman said.


"Wait up Calla, I need to undo the spell Merlin had casted on them, then I will burn him." Ethan replied. He first unfroze me then went to Chris.


"How did you know? I was also shocked seeing him here." Chris asked Ethan.


"Master Dalton left me a letter saying you and your family will be in trouble. That's why we came." Ethan replied as he unfroze Chris.


"We had planned to come before him, but it took us a bit longer to reach. " Calla said.


"It's okay, I'm glad you both came in on time or I would have lost my family today." Chris said.


"Thank you so much." I said to Calla with tears rolling down from my eyes.

"Don't thank us. We are just doing what we have to. Now, can I see your house?" She said and stood up. I nodded my head and she started going through things. Chris came close to me with Ethan behind him. Chris sat beside me.

"Are you okay?" He asked me and I nodded my head. He wrapped his arm around me protectively.


"Ethan, meet my mate, Celia. Celia, meet Ethan. He is one of the most loyal friends of mine." Chris introduced us both.


"Who is she?" Chris asked and pointed his finger at Calla.


"She is Calla. She is my mate." Ethan replied. Calla came back with an envelope in her hands. She kissed Ethan then showed him the envelope.


"Found it. Hi, I haven't met you both, but Ethan has told me everything about you." Calla replied.

"Wait, isn't she exactly like Lilly?" Chris asked.


"Who is Lilly?" I asked Chris and Ethan started laughing.


"Lilly was my Master's wife. And yes, she is exactly like her, because Calla is Lilly's great granddaughter." Ethan replied to my question that I hadn't even asked. I looked at Chris and he chuckled.


"Ethan can read minds, don't worry." Chris explained to me and we all started laughing. In a flash Ethan took Merlin's body away. In a few seconds he came back.


"Ready to go back home, Calla?" He asked her and she nodded her head. Calla hugged me.

"Take care of yourself and your kiddos. You are safe now." She said and broke the hug. They both bid their goodbyes. Ethan and Calla went to the car that was parked in front of our house. They both hopped in, waved their hands and drove off.

I was going to deliver our babies after one month. My babies were vampires so the pregnancy was only 4 months.



We waited patiently for this month to pass by. Chris wouldn’t leave my side and was very protective of me. He wouldn’t let me walk down the stairs alone. He had to help me with everything.



It was the day when I will deliver the babies. The pain was unbearable. They immediately took me to the hospital room. Chris was so nervous that he was stuttering while talking. I kept taking deep breaths as the doctor said.



I saw my sister waving at me from the glass and my parents smiling at me.



“One push more.” The doctor shouted. I pushed as strongly as I could. A loud cry was heard. The nurses took the first baby and cleaned her/him before giving him/her to Chris. I looked up and saw the prettiest baby boy I’ve ever seen.



Axel had Chris’ silver eyes and looked exactly like his father. Before I got the chance to hold him in my arms, I screamed out of pain and kept pushing. After a few pushes, another cry was heard and Celine looked straight at me.



I looked down at her feeling as if I was looking at a baby picture of myself. They cleaned her just as they did to Axel and put her in my arms.



I held both of them in my arms. They both were calm before falling asleep in my arms.



“Chris, they’re both so adorable”I smiled.



He nodded and gave them to the doctor after holding them for some minutes.



Our families and friends entered and took their turns in holding the babies.



“I finally have a family.” Chris said as I laid my head on his shoulder.



“I love you.” I smiled.



“I love you too.” He kissed my forehead.


A FEW YEARS LATER:-





Celine and Axel ran out of the car and entered their house feeling excited. They had amazing news to tell their parents.



They were the smartest kids in grade 2 and all their teachers approved it. They jogged over to the living room and shouted "We got the highest grades. We're the top in our classes." They squealed in excitement.



Celia and Chris looked at them with a proud look in their eyes. "That's awesome! To reward you, today we're going to the amusement park." Chris said, surprising the twins.



They all screamed in happiness including Celia. She has always loved amusement parks. She was waiting patiently for them to go there.



She was also extremely happy for her sister. Her wedding was going to happen tomorrow. She couldn't believe her younger sister had found her first and last true love. She was over the stars for her. Lilith, her sister met a guy at her work two years ago and from then, they had been going on dates. Finally, he proposed to her.



Celia finished university and was now working as a biology professor in the same college she was in, Oxford University. Chris took the alpha title from his father since he had found his mate and he was leading the pack smoothly. Both of them have decided that when their twins reach 20, he will give them the alpha title.



Lilith and her parents have been living in the pack with Celia from a year ago. Once she is married, she will drag her husband with her. Good thing he didn't freak out when he knew about vampires' existence.



The four of them entered the tall red gates of the park and they looked around happily. Celia glanced at Chris who was already looking at her and whispered "You and our kids are everything I have ever wanted and dreamed of." They hugged each other as the twins hid their eyes playfully, teasing their parents.



It was happily ever after.
