CHAPTER 33
In a flash Ethan was inside the room that belonged to Celine. She gulped hard as she saw Ethan stepping inside of her room. She started stepping backwards until her back hit the wall. "You thought I would be dead. Well, guess what, I'm as surprised as you are right now." Ethan said with a smirk.
"Please, let me go. I did as I was ordered." Celine replied in a pleading tone.
"How about you start talking and we will think about letting you go later? Spill it out, you know everything and I can see it. I want to hear it from you." Ethan said and she felt her throat dried.
"Draco did this all. I was just following orders." She pleaded again.
"Spill it out." Ethan yelled at her and she shivered in fear.
"Draco killed Master Braxton. He ripped his throat out. He did the same with Master Braxton's loyal servant, who saw Draco killing Master Braxton. Then he called Mara and Xavier here to kill them and get the ring of the Master. But Xavier was smart, he didn't bring it here. Before killing Master Braxton, he told me and all the witches to trigger Storm Riders. He wanted to control them so they would do what he wanted. But he never knew, Storm Riders were controlled by their leaders only. After the Storm Riders left, he murdered Master Braxton and then he killed Mara and Xavier. Then he went to abduct the pure blood child, but it was too late. The Storm Riders took her away. He was the one who ordered all his vampires to stalk Calla and the people around her. He knew about you as well. He never had seen Calla before. He only knew about Sophie. He was the one who set Calla's office on fire. He was the one who asked your master's children to abduct Calla so he can trade her for the pure blood vampire." Celine replied.
"So you called the Storm Riders?" Ethan asked and she nodded her head.
Ethan grabbed her wrist and pulled her in the hall with the other ninety nine witches. He started reciting a spell and the hall started heating up. He kept repeating it until the hall was on fire. Ethan smirked and shut the door. He had casted a boundary spell before he entered the hall and there is only one way out of the hall, that too was bound by Ethan. He zoomed back upstairs, scooped Calla in his arms again and zoomed back to the hotel. With his fast speed no one saw him coming. He cleaned Calla first and changed her clothes. Then he went into the bathroom and took a quick shower. He stepped out of the bathroom, wore his clothes, packed their bags and started their journey back to New York.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Ethan was sitting on the floor of his master's room. He was sitting in yoga style, his eyes were closed and he was reciting a spell. He wanted to know how he got his powers back. He was calling his Master. After a few minutes he felt someone sitting behind him on the bed. He smiled and opened his eyes. He found himself sitting by the river. "Now what's bothering you my boy?" Dalton asked and patted his shoulder.
"I can remember her blood draining powers of Brandon. Then what had brought my powers back to me?" Ethan asked.
"Calla gave you her blood willingly, you didn't force her to drink her blood. But I think the main reason is you two being destined together. I did bind you to her but I don't know what connected your destinies. Now no matter what you do to her, she will be with you till death. You two will live together and will die together as well." Dalton replied.
"What do you mean by what I do to her?" Ethan asked.
"I know you and I trust you. But the monster, the devil inside you, I'm not sure about it. I don't even know if it's asleep again or still awake, waiting for the right time to strike hard this time. You know I have never seen that part of you ever, not in the past and not even in the future." Dalton explained.
"You are saying that I can hurt her in future?" Ethan asked.
"I don't know. I know nothing about that part of yours." Dalton replied.
"Then I'll leave her. So she can live." Ethan said.
"I don't think so it could ever work in your case. As I said, you both are destined to live together and die together." Dalton replied.
"I don't care about myself." Ethan said.
"You can try it. I'm not sure if it will work or not." Dalton replied. Ethan nodded his head and closed his eyes. He opened his eyes again, stood up and went back to their bedroom. Sidney was sitting in the room when she saw Ethan packing his bags. He packed his bags and turned to face Sidney.
"I have to leave. I am leaving her with you because I know you will never hurt her and will protect her with your life. Just stay away from her during full Moons. She will be mad at me but soon things will be fine for her. After all, she wouldn't be happy seeing me after she wakes up. As for Sophie, I will find her, she will be back soon." Ethan said and zoomed out of his house.
Calla opened her eyes again and found herself laying on her bed. She frowned her brows and sat up on the bed. She was alone in the room. She crawled out of the bed and went to the bathroom. She took a quick shower, wrapped a towel around her figure and stepped out of the bathroom. She went to the closet and looked at her neck. She could remember Ethan bit her neck but there were no wounds, not even the mark of the cut she had made by herself. She wore casual jeans and t-shirt and stepped out of the bedroom. She went downstairs and found Sidney sitting in the living room. Calla went to her and wrapped her arms around her. "Finally, you are up. How are you feeling now?" Sidney asked.
"I'm fine, how are you?" Calla asked back.
"I'm fine. I was just worried about you." Sidney replied.
"About me, I'm totally fine." Calla said. He stomach growled loudly and she patted her tummy.
"What's for breakfast?" Calla asked as she made her way to the kitchen.
"Pancakes, I hope you will like it." Sidney replied.
"Wait, you cooked? In Ethan's kitchen? I can't believe it." Calla asked and shook her head.
"Yeah, I have been here since he brought you back." Sidney replied in a serious tone.
" Wait, What do you mean? Where is he?" Calla asked in confusion.
"He hasn't been back, he brought you back then went to his master's room, then he just packed his bags and left. I don't know what is in his head but I don't think he would come back here, ever." Sidney replied. Calla held her breath when she heard Sidney.
"Why?" Calla whispered.
"Maybe because whatever had happened between you both. He hadn't told me anything. He just said you wouldn't want to see him once you wake up." Sidney explained. Calla dropped on one of the chairs in the kitchen. Her elbows rested on the kitchen counter with her head in her hands. Calla couldn't believe he just left her thinking she would hate him. The truth was completely opposite.
"Have you tried calling him?" Calla asked and tried to hold her tears in her eyes.
"We all have. He is not responding to any of us." It was Ashley who replied to Calla.
"What was he thinking?" Calla asked.
"None of us know where is he or what he is up to? If I'm being honest with you, Calla I don't think so he will ever come back. He hid that monster from you and you just saw it." Ashley spilled the bitter truth. Calla glared at them all. She went back upstairs and packed her bags. She stepped out of Ethan's house when Sidney stood in front of her, blocking the door.
"Cal, you can't go anywhere. I promised him that I would take care of you." Sidney tried to reason with her.
"Get out of my way Sid. I don't want to live here. That coward just left me without any explanations." Calla replied and tears started flowing freely from her eyes.
"Cal, try to understand him. I know what he's been thinking after he left you here." Sidney replied.
"I said move Sid. I don't need his protection." Calla replied and wiped her tears. "And you all, dare to follow me and I swear you'll regret it." She added pointing her finger at Ashley and his vampires. She hopped into her car and drove off. She checked her pendant in her neck and took it out of her shirt. She looked back to make sure no one was following her. She smiled mischievously and drove back to her house.
In an hour she parked her car and we went into her house. She went to the kitchen and took out a glass bottle. She dropped it on the floor and it shredded into pieces. She took one of the pieces in her hand and smiled.
"So you think you are the only one here who is smart. Well think again Ethan, because Lilly had given your secret in my hands and I can use it the way I want. You think you can run away and I will let you, you are wrong. I know what I have to do to get you back here. And I know very well, you will come in a few seconds. Just wait and watch what I have in mind for you." Calla thought.
She stood up and went to her bedroom. She sat on one of the couches in her room. She took off the pendant again and put it aside. She made a small cut on her palm and screamed on the top of her lungs.
